Smashville UK (Oldham)

Been getting takeaway from here for years now. Had a couple of times where the food hasn’t been to standard or extras have been missed off even though they have been paid for but every company will have times when things are not perfect. Otherwise the food is really good, the burgers always seem fresh and are full of flavour and the chicken tenders are always juicy and have a good amount of coating on them.
I think they may have recently changed the chips though as they used to be nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside but now they just bog standard soggy frozen chips.

My boyfriend and I have been ordering from Smashville for almost a year now, and the only downside is that we didn’t discover it sooner! Even though we’ve thought about trying different items on the menu, we always end up ordering the same thing because it’s just that good. Our go-to is the Nashville Chicken Burger with Smokey Salt and Pepper Fries, and it never disappoints. The chicken is always perfectly crispy on the outside and tender in the middle, while the fries are packed with flavour, especially when dipped into the Nashville Dip.

When we first started going, we were able to include a Frozen Drink from the Nisa Local Garage (where Smashville is based) as part of the meal deal. Unfortunately this is no longer an option since the garage and Smashville are now run by separate companies. It’s a real shame, because the Frozen Coke goes perfectly with the food as you get the heat from the burger and fries and then the Frozen Coke cools you down.

The Frozen Drinks machine is still available in the garage, but now you have to order separately and pay extra at the kiosk. We still do this though, because it’s worth it alongside our meal.

I will also say that the fries can sometimes vary slightly in how they look and taste. That said, we’ve never had a bad meal here. Smashville has become our absolute go-to takeaway, and we’re already planning our next visit the moment we finish eating!

We have been wanting to try Smashville's for a while and it really lived up to our expectations. We ordered a munch box special and a dirty burger with 2 milkshakes. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning again.

I placed an order online for collection, on arrival the food was ready on time and then I headed home to enjoy, once I came to start eating it was still very warm and the burger was excellent.

Smashville Oldham is head and shoulders above the competition in the area. Using well seasoned prime mince and having some of the best chicken tenders around, there are many reasons to make a second order here.

Initially, we bought the munch box, which comprises of a choice of two patties, two tacos, two tenders, a portion of chips, drinks and a waffle. I can't explain in words how good the box is, because each bit is as different and flavoursome as the last.

The products in the pictures are a set of their seasoned tenders, Korean (spicy) tenders and a biscoff waffle. The chicken has a light batter that is crunchy to the taste and is smothered in Korean spicy sauce. Stronger than buffalo, it's something most people will find a comfortable level of heat.

The review left here has to state that Just Eat are a shocking method to choose to buy food from these guys through. At no fault of their own, the Just Eat driver we had either ate or lost part of the order. Smashville went above and beyond to try and arrange a remedy on the day, but being a Friday it was busy and just not possible. They have however, made upon request, the missing elements of the order with some free additional tenders and a waffle to boot.

I have genuinely never had a takeaway where the staff have been as polite or gone above and beyond to fix an issue that wasn't even their fault.

We will be returning to Smashville and I encourage you to do the same.
