This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The staff seemed completely untrained - unable to take a simple order or understand what we were saying. We were served food without any cutlery and had to go out of our way just to get their attention to bring it over. Some items we ordered were missing, and even after pointing it out, it never arrived. To make matters worse, the food we did receive didn’t even match the menu descriptions. For instance, who serves lamb shank on top of mashed potatoes? Where on the menus does it say that. They also sat a group of three girls right next to us, even though there were multiple empty tables available throughout the restaurant. The tables were so close together they might as well have been one long shared table - absolutely no space or privacy. To make it worse, the group was practically screaming in our ears the whole time. It’s just common sense to space customers out when there’s room, and in this case, there clearly was. I also ordered a cola, which turned out to be the flattest, most lifeless drink I’ve ever tasted. To be fair, the starter was actually good - the lamb chops were tasty. But everything else, from the service to the rest of the food, was extremely disappointing. Avoid at all cost.

We order some lamb, beef and chicken steak and must say it was really tasty and enjoyed the atmosphere too. Sarfraz looked after us well from start to finish. We will definitely come again

Sizzling Palate in Bolton is fantastic! The vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel welcome right away. The food was delicious, especially the sirloin steak sizzler, which was packed with flavor. It's now our go-to spot for a great meal. Highly recommended!

I came here recently and had the special steak which was okay and overall the food was decent. We spent around £140 on steaks and other dishes, so I expected decent service. When I asked for tap water, the waiter said they’re not allowed to give it and I had to buy bottled water instead. I don’t like bottled water and found that really disappointing. For the amount we spent, I think being offered tap water is the least you’d expect. It did spoil the experience a bit.

Was not expecting this time to be different from the last, was very very sugary and sweet to the point the drink hit my throat , spoke to the manager and he couldn’t do anything , now about the food , it comes out sizzling but gets very cold very quickly if you don’t eat it fast it’s like a fastest eating competition , never returning to this spot again
