After seeing this place on Tiktok I thought let’s give it a try. Unfortunately what a waste of time and money coming to this place. First of all not cheap as it’s more expensive than established brands such as Mother Hubbards etc. Secondly, hygiene is an issue as workers are NOT wearing gloves or hairnet and also workers were petting customer dogs and then continuing to serve food. Also, customer dogs getting near / climbing on counter and this seemed to be okay. Lastly, and most importantly I have never ate something so disgusting in my life. The fish was rubbery and horrible with no taste. The batter had no taste. The chips was dry and inedible. Never ever again! I only had a couple of bites and I was done. I’d rather waste the food and my money than eat this fish n chips.

Food took an age. Peas still hard, gravy more robust than tarmac and not the steak n kidney pudding I'd ordered but some weird mince n onion pudding. Extremely disappointed will definitely not be returning

Disappointment isn’t even the word right now. The most disgusting food I’ve ever had in my life and paid the pleasure of £30. The workers had zero hygiene! wearing scruffy clothes, a dog came in she touched the dog around the mouth and at the same time serving food without washing her hands. Never ever again!

Ordered for the first time tonight, excellent food would recommend, delivered on time as well. Update: Third time of ordering from here food still great however the fish seems to be shrinking but the same price not sure what to expect next time maybe a fish finger not exactly value for money so beware if ordering again you may get less, may order elsewhere next time. Further update after seeing a great review on YouTube I decided to try again only to be disappointed that a chippy doesn't have mushy peas can't believe it

Really do not understand the negative reviews. Ordered a take away last night to great harwood and the food was amazing. Delivery was prompt and everything was red hot when it arrived. Best fish and chip shop around. Crispy batter on perfectly cooked fish and chips where golden and fluffy. Gravy was like propper chip shop gravy, you know the type you can stand a spoon in...sooo good. They threw in loads of little free things, pie, dabs etc. So much food we couldn't even finish it all. My advice....ignore the few negative reviews and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
