I usually really rate this place—it’s my go-to lunch spot whenever I’m in Manchester. Compared to similar outlets like Chopstix, it consistently offers much fresher and tastier food. However, today’s experience was far from the fast and efficient service I’m used to. I waited 27 minutes for my regular box of pre-made noodles and chicken. The disorganisation I witnessed while waiting was remarkable. Boxes of noodles were left open on the counter for 20+ minutes, handled repeatedly by different staff. Staff repeatedly stopped their roles, creating a significant backlog. At one point, a server spent 10 minutes talking to a customer, leaving nobody available to serve, and the counter became completely cluttered. To see what should be a simple, streamlined process executed so poorly—and have it eat up the majority of my lunch break—was really disappointing. Worst of all, it wasn’t even busier than a typical lunchtime, which suggests the store is under-staffed or poorly coordinated, not just unusually busy. I’m not sure if this is due to new management or staff changes, but this experience was a real step down from the usually excellent service. I hope it’s a temporary hiccup, as it doesn’t reflect the standard I’ve always appreciated from this store.

It used to be something else. But it's exactly the same set up except that you can order your food using the boards. The food is OK. Used to be better when it was under the old name. Very sweet sauces, full of sugar. They have a boba place in there too.

Absolutely Blown Away by Nudon on Oxford Road! I’ll admit, I’m not usually a fan of Chinese food, but when a friend suggested we try Nudon, I decided to give it a go We started with the Chicken Bar, which was so good I forgot to take a photo before diving in (a true testament to how irresistible it was!). Then, we tried the create your own masterpiece. Every bite was packed with flavour freshly prepared before your eyes The food was fresh, delicious, and full of variety guaranteeing I’ll be back for more. If you haven’t tried Nudon yet, I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed!

Randomly ordered from these guys as had an Uber Eats deal. Came in like 15 mins and was hot / fresh / tasty. Banging take on classic sweet Cantonese style UK with more genuine Asian fresh veg and spice. I rate it . 💥
