The restaurant and bar are really aesthetically-pleasing. However, that's where the positives stop. Service was really slow and the food was poor. We both ordered sirloin steak and waited almost an hour for it. I asked for medium-rare and you can see how overcooked it was in the pictures.

We wanted to have a warm lunch there but unfortunately they offer only toasts at that time there. So we stayed only for coffee and cake. But the flat white wasn't strong enough and the cake was dry and hard. But good staff and a nice place to sit.

Bang average. Whilst the food was top notch and was a solid 9/10, the 2 staff that were on were clearly overwhelmed and not very experienced. Took several minutes to be seated as there were no staff on the shop floor originally with only 3 tables in. Dirty menus, empty salt shakers, glasses with lipstick on served and coffee served without sugar or a teaspoon. Had a discount voucher to use and staff tried to haggle on the discount amount trying not to honour the full amount originally which I found very strange. Music was 00s RnB which didn’t fit in for a Sunday dinner vibe. Both staff were nice but clearly inexperienced. 2 star service with 5 star prices.

Hotel brilliant as were the staff,however told we has been upgraded in our room which was hard to see and the view out of the window confirmed this. Didn't appreciate while having evening meal people were allowed to come into the bar/restaurant and order drinks which in itself is probably ok however they were very drunk and loud . Breakfast was brilliant though.

The food was lovely, if a bit on the expensive side but to be expected in a hotel restaurant. The waiting staff were very good and attentive. The atmosphere should have been lovely and could be so easily improved - for some reason they were playing cheesy hits loudly, the sort of music that would get me dancing in a club at 2am but not what you want as you are eating dinner in a restaurant.
