Visited this beautiful patisserie in didsburry. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Was so hard to choose what to sample. The desserts were so delicious and beautifully crafted. We will definitely come back again.

This bakery shop is good and makes some of the best pastries in the city. I have visited many times and have enjoyed their delicious treats. however, my main issue is the inconsistency in quality sometimes the pastries are absolutely mind-blowing, and other times they're quite disappointing , it makes the experience a bit unpredictable as i never know what kind of experience I’ll get If they could maintain the same high standard every time, this place would easily be one of the top bakeries in England . until then, it’s a bit of a hit or miss . That said, it's still worth visiting

Ordered a bunch of bread and pastries and cakes today for brunch to take home the price of each item is very reasonable compared to other bakeries especially the ones in central town which can be a bit pricey everything is fresh and very well made very helpful server at the till which took time to explain each pastry and what were the best selling items will definitely be going again and would like to try more savoury options very much worth visiting

My friend and I visited this place today, and to be perfectly honest, we were rather taken aback by how tiny it was—tucked away in a corner with absolutely no seating available. Customers are expected to take everything to go and then stand around awkwardly, leaving their names while the staff bring out coffees. I don’t mind queuing if the experience is worth it—but the layout doesn’t help. From outside, you can only see a limited selection of pastries through the small display, and there’s no large menu board to give you a clear overview. It’s only once you squeeze inside the narrow space that you realise there are more items to choose from, which of course means you’ll want to reassess your choices. Reasonable, right? Unfortunately, the woman taking my order didn’t seem to agree. She was visibly impatient, snapped at me to hurry up, and gave me no time to properly look. When I moved on to order a coffee, things took a rather surreal turn—she suddenly acted as though she couldn’t understand my English at all. I repeated myself multiple times, only to be met with an exasperated “What?” while she scanned me up and down. Quite the service. After paying, I had to step out to take an urgent phone call and asked my friend to collect the order for me. Apparently, even in my absence, the same staff member managed to throw one more disapproving look in my direction. Reading other reviews mentioning poor service and different treatment based on how people look, I can’t say I’m surprised anymore. Perhaps next time, I’ll make sure to look a bit more “fitting” rather than being a woman in color before expecting to be treated with basic courtesy.
