We had a fantastic lunch at Italian 55 Gt Northern restaurant yesterday that truly exceeded expectations. To start, we shared a tomato and cheese garlic bread – and it was huge! Generously portioned, packed with flavour, and the perfect way to kick things off. For mains, my friend ordered the gnocchi Sorrentina, which was rich, comforting, and perfectly cooked. I went for the linguine alla Scoglio with extra chilli – and it was absolutely spot-on. The seafood was fresh, the pasta was al dente, and the extra heat gave it just the right kick. The service was exemplary throughout. Attentive without being intrusive, and when my friend couldn’t finish her meal, they kindly offered a doggy bag without hesitation – a thoughtful touch that showed real hospitality. Overall, the food was excellent, the portions generous, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Highly recommend this place if you're craving a quality Italian meal with great service to match.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience celebrating my sister’s birthday! I initially came across the restaurant on Google while searching for gluten-free options, and I love how it caters so thoughtfully to people with allergies. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Huge thanks especially to Salvador, he went above and beyond to explain gluten-free options and made the evening truly memorable. The restaurant’s decor, the cake, and the food created a warm, celebratory atmosphere. My sister was submitting her master’s thesis on the same day and wasn’t initially in a celebratory mood, but the team made the day unforgettable. I had the Spaghetti Aragosta e Gamberoni and asked for extra chili and a slice of lemon, and Ericka provided it quickly with a friendly, helpful attitude, her service was great as well. Compliments to the chef too: my sister had the gluten- free pizza and said it was the best she’s ever had! Thank you again, Salvador, we will definitely be back. It’s service like this that makes places truly memorable!

Came here for a meal with work colleagues and had a great meal. I had the Mozzarella Fritta to start. 5 lovely small pieces of breaded fried cheese, what's not to like! Perhaps a small portion for the price but that's typically what you get as starters everywhere these days. For my main I had the Calzone pizza. It was very very good. Lovely dough, loads of fillings and a pleasure to eat. The others had various dishes including pasta, gnocchi and lamb and all days they rely enjoyed their food (and all the portion sizes were very good) Service through the whole meal was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend the food here, and I'm sure we will be back!
