Super value for money, all the meat done beautifully. The flavours are really spot on, well seasoned food and the portions very generous. The service is extremely attentive, constantly checking up on guests, recommending dishes etc. The drinks are a bit off the charts large and basically sugar shots. Don’t miss the kunafa, a Turkish dessert with cheese and pistachios served with ice cream. Recommend a solid gym session before you go.

We visited **Istanbul Restaurant Manchester** today for Eid meal as two families together our own and my sister in law and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. We ordered the **jumbo platter** along with a few other dishes, and everything was delicious — fresh, flavourful, and served beautifully. The portion sizes were generous and the variety on the platter made it perfect for sharing. A special shout-out to **Sarah**, our waitress, who truly made the experience memorable. She was incredibly **attentive, polite, and so genuinely lovely** — making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her warm and welcoming nature added a personal touch to the evening and really stood out. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. The hospitality at this Turkish restaurant was exceptional — the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The manager was absolutely perfect, making sure we felt at home. A Wonderful Dining Experience at Istanbul Restaurant, Manchester I recently had the pleasure of dining at Istanbul Restaurant in Manchester, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The menu offers an excellent selection of authentic Turkish dishes, all freshly prepared and full of flavour. I particularly enjoyed the mixed grill – the meats were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with every bite. The fresh bread and meze starters were also exceptional and really set the tone for a great meal. What stood out most was not just the delicious food, but the genuine hospitality. The staff were attentive, kind, and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect throughout the evening. We ordered a jumbo platter. Enough for 5 people. Food is delicious. Service so so. Couple of waiters are rude. Service needs to improve. We asked for extra spoons which was refused saying they are very busy and we already have 2.
