House of chai (bolton)

Saw decent reviews of this place and thought I would give it a go. It’s situated next to eat meat so as we walked in , the both have the same entrance  but 2 different seating area. We got our table straight away, and the menus are qr codes on the table. We ordered a chicken Parmesan , a buttermilk chicken burger meal, and ordered a chicken burger meal for my kid. And for dessert we shared the French toast. Both my burger and my daughter’s burger was exactly the same, yet mine was £11 and my daughters was £7 . They were exactly the same . I paid 50% more for my burger for no reason. The service wasn’t great, however there was on waiter that was very good and deserved some recognition. Rest of the staff were too busy messing around with each other to notice the other guests in the restaurant. Not likely to come back again. It’s clean inside but the that’s the only good thing . Also works out my bill to be around £55 ended up paying £75 got sting for an extra £20. Another reason not to recommend this place. They don’t give you the bill just tell you how much it is. And you pay it.

We loved this place, food was lovely and spicy. Dessert’s needed work we liked everything apart from them. Staff are lovely and polite. Wasn’t really expensive either, we paid £47 for starters and mains, plus drinks. We visited in December so hopefully the desserts have got better since then.

Took the family for brunch and it was a great experience. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I tried the steak and eggs which had a large portion of very good quality steak!

The kids had the French toast which I was told was delicious.

Overall, great experience. Service was fantastic, atmosphere very nice and food delicious. Will be heading back soon

Short wait to be seated and the staff were very accommodating. Our servers were lovely, efficient and humorous which gave us a great experience. We didn’t feel rushed despite staying till almost close. The drinks were especially good and the manager even brought us free desserts! Lovely experience, will definitely be back!!!

Delicious food and excellent customer service. Ria was our waitress for the meal, she was lovely and attentive throughout. Would definitely recommend.
