⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Outstanding Evening at Grand Pacific We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Grand Pacific in Manchester. From the moment we arrived, the genuine warmth and hospitality made the evening feel really special. A huge thank you to Jake on the bar, who set the tone with exceptional service and a welcoming smile, and to Andrei, our server, whose attentiveness and professionalism truly elevated our visit. The food was excellent—beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and presented with care. Combined with the cosy, festive atmosphere, it created the perfect backdrop for a memorable night out. Grand Pacific continues to impress on every level. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be returning soon!

If you want to indulge yourself in a little opulence for food, service and atmosphere; then consider booking here. If you want to brush shoulders with the likes of Winston Churchill, bask in the subdued lighting and feel like a lord and lady straight from Downton Abbey then frequent here for a candle lite evening to drown in classical violins playing popular tunes. However, be prepared for smaller portion sizes that allow you to manage the full three course spread. All this quality though is reflected in the pricing.

The worst birthday experience I’ve ever had. I came here to celebrate my birthday. I was only ten minutes late and even called ahead, yet after arriving and being seated, I still waited another ten minutes. After ordering normally, the food took at least forty minutes to arrive. By the time the dishes finally came, there were only fifteen minutes left before the restaurant closed. I originally wanted to take some photos in the beautiful seating area, but because the food came so late and we couldn’t finish, we were rushed over to the bar. Then, when they brought out the cake—which had been kept in the fridge—the decorations had been removed, and the writing was smudged and basically gone. The food itself was also extremely average. The steak was dry and tough. The most frustrating part was speaking with the manager multiple times. She kept saying “sorry,” but there was clearly no sincerity. He didn’t think the ruined cake was their fault and even said removing the plastic film was done “as a kindness,” but ruined is ruined. In the end, they tried to brush us off by waiving the cost of two drinks. They completely ruined the birthday dinner I’d been looking forward to. I absolutely do not recommend coming here. It’s extremely loud inside—more like a nightclub than a restaurant.

Great service, food was faultless and couldn't quite make it through the apple crumble. Love a good Sunday roast this was the best food and quality service we've had for years. Team super attentive checking in, extra drinks, cleaning the table. Building and decor stunning- you really couldn't have done anything better - was the son's 18th Birthday and we were so happy with the quality of food and service you made it really special (no one knew it was his Bday he doesn't like a fuss) but just wow thank you will be back soon- this was our first visit.
