Workers were occupied took a while to get someone to serve you. Forgot the drink but it’s fine they gave it to us after we asked. Food is disgraceful chicken was super dry and the sauce is bitter. Toast was stale. Mac and cheese is FOUL please don’t order it was as though someone put it through a blender then chucked it in a styrofoam cup and made it overpriced 🤢🤮 chicken burger tasted like FISH for some reason… would not recommend to anyone

Slim Chickens offers a casual dining experience with a focus on chicken dishes, but I found it to be a bit on the pricey side for what you get. I started with the Biscoff Milkshake, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the best I’ve had. It lacked the rich flavor I was hoping for and didn’t quite hit the mark. The boneless chicken bites were a bit dry for my liking, and even the accompanying sauce didn’t enhance the taste as much as I had hoped. However, the spicy wings were a pleasant surprise—nice and flavorful, they definitely stood out among the dishes I tried. I also sampled the honey BBQ wings, but they weren’t to my taste; I'm not a fan of BBQ sauce, so that might just be a personal preference. On a positive note, the Slim sauce was nice and added a good flavor to the meal. Overall, while I would consider going back to Slim Chickens, I’m not in a rush to return. The spicy wings were enjoyable, but the other items didn’t quite live up to my expectations. If you’re a fan of chicken, it’s worth a visit, but just be prepared for a slightly higher price point.

We were in town and wanted to have lunch , the best choice was Slim chicken especially for people looking for Halal food Easy menu to choose from , either self checkout or from the desk .lady on the desk was friendly and helped us with our order. You get offered sauces from a list of sweet , chilli or garlicky. Good portion of chips , large pieces of chicken fillets and half a toast, normally there is refill fizzy drinks but it was out of order when we were there so she offered us cans from the fridge You can choose the table wherever you fancy , all tables were wiped clean , no napkins instead there is a kitchen roll on each table . There are bin station to dispose the rubbish Restaurant is in town near shops , far from car parks such as Victoria centre or Trinity as both car pars are big and suitable for medium/big cars

Good stuff! Chicken tenders were really soft and tender. The sauces are awesome and the selection is wild, you can have at least a dozen of various flavors. Really recommended!

I ordered via Uber Eats and the total came to almost £30 for one chicken burger, and a 7 tender meal with bottled water, the only free drink option on the meal deal. For that price (for fried chicken) you are expecting top quality; delicious food that's cooked with care. I am hugely disappointed with the quality of this and, frankly, quite annoyed. The burger was really disgusting and quickly became inedible; it was absolutely drowned in sauce and onions, to the point that the bun was peeling away when I tried to look inside of it (a soggy, disgusting mess). I bit into it and was shocked at how overpowering the BBQ and onion taste was, and didn't particularly enjoy it, but thinking "I've paid almost £11 for this alone" I took a second bite. I couldn't finish the second bite as I started retching from a foul taste I was experiencing; it was very clearly a dirty oil taste. The chips also had the same dirty, stale oil taste. I spat the second bite of the burger out into the bin, which is where the rest of the burger and the chips will go. All for £30. Shocking. The only things that actually tasted nice were the coating on the tenders and the sauces. But even the tenders were sorry excuses for fried tenders. They were limp and with the coating falling off like sludge onto the chips, and were more alike cheap frozen chicken goujons; small and soggy. The whole thing was also cold, which might've been a delivery issue rather than restaurant; but it arrived quickly and directly so I'm not sure about that. This would've been a poor experience from a cheap takeaway, that set me back something like £15. This was double the price and most of it is inedible. Really shocking. I rang the restaurant and spoke to them about it to the lady on the phone, and to her personal credit she was friendly and apologized. She sounded despondent, almost as though this happens often, and I could hear the sounds of laughter and messing around in the background which sounded like staff. I suspect the people in the kitchen, despite being given everything they need to succeed from the brand, are doing the opposite of that. Perhaps just a bad evening, who knows, but I am shocked with the overall experience.
