Review: ZARAFSHAN RESTAURANT I recently visited Zarafshan Restaurant on a friend’s recommendation, and it turned out to be an excellent dining experience. I started with the lamb Tikka Kebab, which was incredibly delicious—juicy, flavorful, and served with warm Afghani roti that paired perfectly with the meat. Next came the Qabili Pulao, which was the highlight of the meal. The rice was soft, aromatic, and lightly spiced, with raisins adding a subtle sweetness. I chose the lamb option, and it was exceptionally tender and absolutely mouth-watering. The portion size was quite generous—easily enough for two people. I also loved the lentil soup/sauce that accompanied the meal—it added an extra layer of flavor and complemented the dishes beautifully. The service was great, and the staff were attentive throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is spacious, neat, and clean, with attractive interiors that create a pleasant atmosphere. The only thing I personally didn’t enjoy much was the music, but that’s more a matter of taste. Although the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and overall experience make it worth visiting. Highly recommended!

Went to **Zarafshan** on Wilmslow Road for dinner with a friend, and wow — what a treat! From the moment we walked in, the warm vibes and delicious aromas had us grinning 😍 We kicked things off with their **hummus**, and honestly… *don’t skip it!* Creamy, smooth, and packed with flavour — it was the perfect start. 💛 Then came the **mixed grill platter**, and oh my, it was *chef’s-kiss* perfection 👨‍🍳🔥 — juicy, tender meats, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a little taste of heaven! The service was friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and the food? Absolutely on point. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit 🤭🍽️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice food, only reason lost one star is drinks always come late no matter what time of day we come its like they run to corner shop to buy them haha, food will be here and still another 10 minutes and drinks not come. Its very odd, otherwise all is ok, clean, food good, kabli pilau amazing, prices are high but decent. Lamb chops are hugeeee

I have tried their chicken roast with pilau , grilled chicken with pilau and grilled seabass. My favourite one was the chicken roast. The staff was very kind and ambiance was ok for me. Will definitely go again here.

I came to the restaurant with my friend last week and the experience was extremely nice. The food so delicious, and the rice is soo nice I loved it, that’s why I ordered again today delivery and as the last time the food is so delicious well done 👏
