I ordered the lamb biryani, which was slightly on the spicier side for my taste. Overall, the flavours were rich and well-balanced, and the portion was satisfying. I would rate the food a solid 7 out of 10. The service was commendable. Hitesh, in particular, was very courteous and cooperative, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

We had a family meal today for dad’s birthday, party of 6 adults one child. The food was really good, one point knocked off for a few of the dishes being so spicy - and perhaps we should have said could we have mild spice when placing the order - but generally everything was flavorful and the food was of good quality! Portions were big too!! The service was amazing, Ali and the rest of the staff really were attentive and went above and beyond especially as there are no reservations and being a big group we called ahead and we were seated immediately on arrival. We would go back, but will just ask that they hold back on making every dish so hot next time 🥵

Went there this evening. We have been to Haweli on numerous occasions and each time we really enjoyed our food. For us the best time to go is around 6pm. We find it least busiest and better for our children. Food wise, we never had an issue with the quality and service. We ordered the mixed grill for 4. For £40 it is well worth it compared to other places that would charge around £60 for that same mixed grill no doubt. We also got the lamb biryani, chilli chicken, nihari, pina colada and lychee mojito. Chilli chicken slightly disappointed as it was nothing special other than chilli sauce mixed in chicken but didnt have a uniqueness about it whereas the Nihari is absolutely must have. Again compared to other places, this Nihari is packed with flavour and the shank is cooked perfectly. Lychee mojito is nice however doesn't reflect the price. Honestly speaking shouldn't be more than £5. Pina Colada is the right price and tasted great. Overall Haweli in Ilford is our go to place. We were served by Mariam this evening. Thank you for your friendly and professional service.

We ordered lamb seekh kebab, chapli kebab, chips and samosa chaat as starters. All were delicious and a good amount of spice. For mains, we ordered butter chicken desi style and achari lamb with Keema Naan and regular Naan. Portion sizes were amazing and we ended up packing so much for dinner! Highlight of the meal was the mango lassi, of which we had 2 jugs. So moreish and the second jug we had was perfection in both flavour and temperature! One thing to improve would be don't charge for a salad! Salad is a must with salan, to make the customer pay for it is a bit cheeky. Especially as many places in ilford lane offer it for free!

Restaurant is decorated nicely. Although people from outside can see everything inside, which we didn't quite like. Chicken biryani was deliciously cooked, chicken wings seemed very fresh and delicious, chicken strips were good, but I must say that, halim dish was absolutely disappointing. I am a great lover of halim dish, I have had way better halim than this, it felt more sticky, stretchy and tasteless. Other than this our experience is a pleasant one NB: our server Noman was excellent
