The sweet and spicy chicken is amazing and straddles the line between a little spicy and sweetness so well. Portion sizes are generous. The rice is done well for it to soak up the extra sauce from the chickren. The staff are super friendly as well. It used to be a regular workplace lunch for myself and have fond memories of grabbing some food then eating it in the church garden just around the corner but I switched jobs so that came to an end. I popped by today though as a treat and can confirm that everything that kept me going back is still as true as when I was here last.

We had a wonderful lunch at Koko Doo, located just opposite the hotel. This small but welcoming Korean restaurant, seemingly run as a family business by a lovely couple, offers fresh and flavorful authentic Korean dishes. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making us feel right at home. A major highlight for us was that they serve halal food, which was an important consideration during our trip. Every dish was prepared with care, and the warm, friendly service made the experience truly memorable.

We had an amazing time at Kokodoo! The food was on time and extremely good! We got the original meals sticky soy and fiery chilli! Next time we have to try the sticky rice! The customer service was second to none and we will be coming back! Highly recommended!!

KoKoDoo is such a great lunch spot, serving up amazing Korean fried chicken that tastes incredible. My go-to is the sticky soy, which comes with rice and a really tasty Asian slaw. The staff are super friendly and help explain the menu and what’s best to order. I also really like that you can customise your box — choosing a regular or large size, and swapping things like rice for chips. They do burgers, wings, and grilled chicken too, which all looked great. Perfect spot if you’re working nearby and grabbing lunch on your break, or just in the Shoreditch area!

Really good korean fried chicken. The first KFC(Korean not Kentucky) burger that I ever tried and loved it! The staff was really nice as well! Burger + fries was 10.5 pounds. Sauces were free!
