We had a wonderful lunch at Koko Doo, located just opposite the hotel. This small but welcoming Korean restaurant, seemingly run as a family business by a lovely couple, offers fresh and flavorful authentic Korean dishes. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making us feel right at home. A major highlight for us was that they serve halal food, which was an important consideration during our trip. Every dish was prepared with care, and the warm, friendly service made the experience truly memorable.

KoKoDoo is such a great lunch spot, serving up amazing Korean fried chicken that tastes incredible. My go-to is the sticky soy, which comes with rice and a really tasty Asian slaw. The staff are super friendly and help explain the menu and what’s best to order. I also really like that you can customise your box — choosing a regular or large size, and swapping things like rice for chips. They do burgers, wings, and grilled chicken too, which all looked great. Perfect spot if you’re working nearby and grabbing lunch on your break, or just in the Shoreditch area!

Really good korean fried chicken. The first KFC(Korean not Kentucky) burger that I ever tried and loved it! The staff was really nice as well! Burger + fries was 10.5 pounds. Sauces were free!

The owners are lovely, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy! We ate here for two days in a row because we enjoyed it so much. The prices are fair for the portion sizes. The food is prepared quickly, making it a great choice if you're very hungry. The lady working there, who I think is one of the owners, was very kind and even remembered us from the day before. Additionally, they have a stamp card where every 5th visit earns you a free drink and every 10th visit earns you a free meal.

Sweet and spicy Korean style fried chicken was just what I needed! It was £10.50, but a huge portion which was much appreciated! There was a little plastic pot of red cabbage on the side too! Fast service despite lots of customers!
