Tried the Dalston burger and chips and I found it very average compared to other burger places in London. The fries were good and crispy but the burger was small and didn’t stand out, and I didn’t like the gravy. It is a bit overpriced for the taste and size.

A truly outstanding burger!! I checked the reviews here and wasn’t sure what to expect but 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 The Dalston Dip burger is a must try for any burger fan. The dipping gravy is just s-u-b-l-i-m-e. Chicken strips were also super tasty. Decent fries too. Experienced no issues with delivery or packaging like I also read in the reviews here. Absolutely chuffed to have found my new go-to takeaway! Bring on Winter 😂

Ordered via Deliveroo - took 1h 40m for 2 burgers and 2 fries to arrive. Called after 1h 20m of waiting and was assured a driver was close to picking up, and that the food wouldn’t be cold as it hadn’t been packaged up yet. This was clearly a lie as both burgers and fries were cold and stale. To make matters worse, one of the burgers had a huge chunk of hard plastic in it (looked like the edge of a plastic pot). Won’t be ordering again and wouldn’t recommend anyone order for here if you value your time, money or health.

So pleased with a burger place with so many options - I'm veg and my partner very much isn't so it's really refreshing to be able to get a proper burger and a veg option at the same place. Love the mac croquettes but it would be great if there was a veg burger without the meat substitute, like a halloumi, mushroom or veggie patty... unfortunately the nature of fake meat makes me want to order it much less frequently, as often consumption of soya protein is harmful - have to compromise with my partner on skipping on good burgers just to find a vegetable based ones instead. Except for that, ✨️stunning✨️

I've just had food from Nanny Bill's for the first time, delivered and it is the most sublime tasting burger I've ever had in my life, and I'm old, so I've tasted a lot of burgers. I got the Dalston Dip. The meat is achingly tender, the bun was made by angels and the burger sauce is so tasty you can get high from it. And I put a note on the order, which in hindsight I realise was for delivery instructions - "Extra cheese please". And I got extra cheese! With a wee note on the packet saying "Extra cheese 4 u" and a smiley face. Nanny Bill, you've stolen my heart. 100 stars out of 5.
