Chinnywala on Stockport Road is hands down the best place for donuts in Manchester. The donuts are always fresh, soft, and full of flavor — easily the best I’ve had. They have a great variety, and every bite tastes like it’s made with care.

The shop has a friendly vibe, the staff are welcoming, and the prices are really fair for the quality you get. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or taking some home to share, Chinnywala never disappoints. Definitely a 5-star spot for donut and Halal food lovers!

I initially visited under the impression that this was a drive-thru, but it's actually a car park service. You place your order at the counter, and it's brought to your car. That said, the desserts were delicious. I enjoyed the mango ice cream tray and the donuts

Located around the corner to Wilmslow Road is Chinnywala on Hamilton Road, which maybe serving as a drive-thru in the somewhat unassuming Longsight Business Park, but serving they certainly are.

Punching way above its weight, this place is all about producing affordable freshly-made teas and desserts on a daily basis.

Unlike the vast majority of brands whose desi-tea is powder-based, Chinnywala’s Karak and Pink chais are made the traditional way, with plenty of churning, time, love and effort.

As for how good these are, then one food influencer described the former as “a bold and aromatic spiced tea with a creamy texture and a touch of sweetness”, and the “visually enchanting” Pink tea as “a beautiful blend with a unique rosy hue, delicate flavours and a hint of floral notes”.

Only this year, they launched their innovative Kunafa range that can be had with the donuts, Chinny bites, or ice cream, and which has taken Manchester by storm, with influencers swearing by how good it is.

In short, Manchester’s Chinnywala is one gem of a place which won’t be kept hidden for much longer.

Really lovely member of staff served us and was very helpful when ordering. We got the Kanufe cup with mini bites and loads of sauce plus a biscoff ice cream cup. Huge portions x

20/09/25 Came back tonight for the kunafe brownie and strawberry cup - wasn’t disappointed! £18 for both plus a pistachio ice cream. Brownie was enough for 3 of us and had loads of chocolate and pistachio sauce x Really rich and hit the sugar craving. Was served by a really nice man who bought it over to our car even in the pouring rain x

The best hidden gem of a donut shop in Manchester PERIOD! I'm not into sweet treats and snacks, but these donuts are absolutely sublime.

The value for money here is really good and it's well complimented by the range of toppings available.

I would highly recommend this place to you, my friends and family as it definitely lives up to the hype, and then some.
