Cargo Seafood

We came back here again after we went there last four days. Excellent service with super delicious foods. Munk fish with creamy white wine sauce is the best. Surf and turf will never let you down. The meat was so tender and testy. This place very much recommended.

We walked up from King’s Dock, which was a bit of a hike. The restaurant was very quiet at 7:30, but it was a Wednesday.
Starters appeared quickly after ordering.   DH had the octopus starter and he raved about how it was the best cooked octopus he’d ever tasted. I had cod and chorizo croquettes which were also very good. DH had the halibut and prawns, with a side of potatoes as they weren’t included in the dish. Also pretty good. I chose the seafood linguine with lobster bisque sauce which was tasty. However I would have liked the ratio of seafood to pasta to be a little more in favour of the seafood. There was so much pasta on the plate it was impossible to anywhere near finish.

That was a shame they didn't have oysters on the day I went but you can't make any bad choice at this venue because everything is tasty! Enjoyed dining here. I definitely should come back for some oysters.

Late lunch for 9 friends. The food was delicious. Great service. The chef came out to chat to us and talk through our dishes. Spot on . Thanks 👌

Fantastic place, the food was unbelievably tasty & fresh, set on the dock with the right weather a lovely setting! The homemade Baklava cheesecake was very tasty! Will definitely be back again when we’re next in Liverpool, if you love seafood definitely not to be missed!
