Tried Bird of Prey for the first time and honestly… wow. The Messy Chicken was insanely creamy and full of flavor total comfort food in the best way. And the Buffalo Soldier Burger? Absolutely nailed it. Juicy, perfectly spicy, and just packed with all the good stuff. Didn’t expect to enjoy it this much, but now I’m already thinking about my next order. So good!

We came in late on a Saturday looking for a good meal after having been out in Manchester all day. The staff were very friendly and talked us through their menu and best sellers. We opted for a few different things to share as we hadn’t been to BOP before. The food came out promptly, and everything was super hot and fresh and tasted great. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would return! The only downside was that despite it being very quiet, the dining area was quite dirty, and the toilets needed cleaning urgently too.

Great food, polite and friendly service, clean tidy ambience, and of course centrally located. Nashville fried chicken burger was fantastic, although too spicy for my liking. Chicken was on point. I was surprised by the great quality of the fries with skin. Only disappointing thing was the ketchup, but this has no relevance to the overall review. It’s just me being picky.

I recently visited Bird of Prey and overall had a fairly decent experience. The location is convenient and easy to find, which makes it a good spot for a quick meal. I ordered the Damn Hot burger, and I must say the patty was flavourful and well-seasoned—definitely one of the highlights of the visit. The spice level was just right, and the texture of the burger was satisfying. However, I was disappointed with the chicken wings. They were overly greasy, and the combination of flavours—especially with the cheese—tasted a bit odd. It left me wondering if the ingredients were entirely fresh. The wings lacked the crispiness and balance I was expecting, which brought down the overall experience. I really hope the quality of the wings can be improved in the future, as the concept and other items on the menu show promise. If that issue is addressed, I’d be happy to return.

First visit, based in popular uni area. Staff were minimalist in their approach but not rude. Wait time seems to vary, some were served quicker despite ordering after me. Took around 15/20 mins for a takeout. I must say though that the food was worth the wait, signature wings, cooked perfectly, good chunky wings at that and dressing/sauces were super good. Easily better wings than KFC or Popeye's. Worth a visit
