My friend recommended this restaurant as it is really authentic and has a good vibe. I had a spicy soup, it was incredibly tasty especially in this cold weather. It was my first time visiting but the staff were very warm and kind 💜 Will definitely visit again with friends and family. I felt like I was back in Korea 🇬🇧🇰🇷

Literally a “hidden” gem! Stumbled across this authentic Korean place in an alley in Angel. Loved the vibes and the food so much!! Had naengmyeon (cold noodles), crispy kimchi pancake, and sweet & spicy fried chicken for a quick lunch fix. Can’t wait to go back for their Korean BBQ!!

We didn’t do the Korean BBQ but instead ordered off the a la carte menu. The food was lovely and comforting! The kimchi jeon was so good, we got a second order instead of dessert - perfectly crispy and spicy! We also got sundubu jigae and bibim naeng myeon - both delicious. A wonderful hidden gem that I’ll definitely be back to!

Hanwoo Village has a lovely exterior. Not a big restaurant, but very popular. Food was really good! Tasty and well presented. Ordered a few dishes, and everything was very well presented, especially the kimchi fried rice. The garlic soy korean fried chicken was a bit dry, and chicken was not tender. The seafood pancake was a little too soggy, would prefer if it was crispier. The cold korean noodles were delicious. Had an extra pot of vinegar if you prefer it a little more sour. Tteokbokki was a bit too spicy. Would prefer if it was toned down a bit. The korean bbq was really good! We got the VIP meat platter to share and there was so much to share! Good quality meat. The only main complaint is that we booked our table and we were told a few times we only had 1.5hrs for our booking. As we ordered so much food and had the bbq with a meat platter, it didn’t really give us a lot of time to cook the meat and eat everything, especially as had the bbq and other dishes. The waiters kept reminding us of this time limit as they had another booking after us, but there were other tables which were free at the time we finished our meal. The restaurant is losing out on business as we would have liked to order dessert too. But instead we had to rush finishing our bbq and pay the bill and leave.
