We went there on Tuesday evening, by chance. It was a pleasant moment and the team is really great. They quickly understood we were not British (ah ah) and adapted their language, thanks a lot ! You’re great. Both pizza we ate were good, it was hearty !

Lovely place, vegan pizza was good even though they did not have vegan cheese for the vegan Nduja pizza. Bit confused if the garlic and herb sauce was vegan as one staff member said yes and the other said no. We had it after they reassured us it is. Gets busy but has great decor and good vibes.

The food was amazing, I think the size of pizza is more than enough for me, I struggled to finish it. I had "Mushroom and truffle" plus truffle dip (I love truffles). It tasted really really nice. My other companions had "Double pepperonis & hot honey" and "You've got Maiale". The pizza skin is super tasty, very chewy and some sweetness from the flour. I really enjoyed it, respect to the chef!! πŸ•πŸ‘¨πŸΌβ€πŸ³ I would recommend it and definitely wanna go back again. The downside is that the Gelato wasn't really okay, the flavour was perhaps too thick and sweet, but this is just my opinion and my taste. The environment was decorated very Italian culture which is quite catchy. It's a nice place to hang out with friends or a date!

I had looked in on Pizza Pilgrims on exiting Finsbury Park Station Wednesday of last week. I was surprised to find, as only the day before, I was reading Pizza by Pizza Pilgrims. I had a chat about pizzas. I did not wish for pizza, as I had eaten earlier at Home Slice in Covent Garden I said I would return on Friday for lunch. Friday, after a coffee at Salt the Radish, I returned for lunch. Very tacky. Is this to fit in with the location? A chain, are they all like this? To replicate an Italian pizza parlour? I don't know. From the outside, it looks like any other fast food outlet in Finsbury Park (of which there are many). Walking in, a large clay pizza oven and an area where pizzas are prepared. Behind the pizza oven, a tacky seating area. And gaming machines to add to the overall atmosphere of tackiness. On display, a couple of copies of Pizza. Friday lunchtime, I was the only customer. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Antonio, Italian pizza maker was very helpful and explained what he was doing. It looks easy, turning the ball of dough into a pizza. As I learnt when I tried a few days later, not as easy as it looks. I chose a simple pizza. I was disappointed. Tasty, but doughy and soggy. On leaving, I took the No 259 bus, which went direct to King's Cross Station.

Great interior decor, lots of themes but it works. Good quality pizzas, pretty authentic but not the largest. Very friendly staff and convenient to Finsbury Park station.
