I went for the £14 unlimited French toast deal (every first Thursday of the month). As a French toast lover, I had to try it and here’s my honest review. One thing to note upfront: there’s a hidden rule where you can’t place any new orders in the last 20 minutes of your one-hour slot. This wasn’t very clear from the start, and it makes a big difference if food comes out slowly. Food: The French toast itself is amazing. Delicious, sweet, and satisfying. My boyfriend and I tried four flavours: Lotus, Dubai Pistachio, Berry, and Salted Caramel. The pistachio with kunafa was my favourite, Lotus was great too. Salted Caramel wasn’t really for us, and Berry was quite sour but actually a nice balance to all the sweetness. System & Service: This is where it needs improvement. There weren’t enough staff to keep up, so orders took a long time. Our first plate came quite late, and although we finished it in under 5 minutes, it took a while for plates to be cleared and for us to place another order. The second plate took another 10–20 minutes to arrive. By the time we wanted a third round, we were told there were only 10 minutes left, so we couldn’t order anymore. In the end, most of our “unlimited” hour was spent waiting rather than eating. Another thing I noticed was the last order timing. Before I queued, I asked a waiter and was told the last call for everyone was 8:30pm, no matter what time you were seated. But I also saw people being seated around 8:30pm, and I wasn’t sure if they were still allowed to order after. Just something for future customers to be aware of. It’s best to double-check with the staff on the day. Also, while the deal is advertised as including a drink, none of the tables (including ours) received one. On top of that, the £14 doesn’t include service charge. Other notes: I waited over 30 minutes for a table, which is expected since it’s only once a month and the café is small. But I also noticed quite a few arguments between staff and customers due to miscommunication while I was there, which shows the system still needs some fine-tuning. Overall: The food is fantastic and the concept is fun, but the “unlimited” system and organisation definitely need adjusting. If the rules were clearer and service smoother, this could easily be a great experience.

We stopped for the unlimited French toast and the French toast was definitely worth it. It was fluffy, rich, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. The toppings were sweet and thoughtful, and the presentation was Instagram-worthy. The portion size was decent without being overwhelming, which I appreciated. We decided to try the Lotus Biscoff, the Bueno chocolate, the Maple syrup, and the salted caramel. In my opinion the Bueno chocolate French toast, was the best one, the flavours were amazing, not too sweet or sickening just the right balance. The Lotus Biscoff French toast was also good, I don’t have anything negative to say about it. The Maple syrup French toast was alright however they doused the French toast in the Maple syrup so much that the French toast was soggy. It tasted good but they could have gone easy on the Maple syrup. The salted caramel was horrible, it was extremely salty and burnt the back of your throat. I don’t recommend it. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly. The restaurant was really aesthetically pleasing, I loved the details and colour scheme. Though it did take a little longer than expected for our food to come out. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the restaurant but at least I got photos of the French toast. They start your 60 minutes from when they place your order on the system so you don’t really get the full 60 minutes because they take long to bring the food out and come to come back and take your next order. Overall, it’s an enjoyable brunch spot, if you’re a French toast lover, this place is worth a visit. Every months first Thursday they have bottomless French toast for 60 minutes.

We visited this dessert place today. The dessert was really nice and the staff member(David )was very friendly ☺️ However, the coffee was quite a disappointment… It cost £7.50 but looked nothing like the presentation in the pictures. Honestly, it was worth no more than £4. I’d go back for the dessert, but definitely not for the coffee.

I recently visited Crome in London and really enjoyed the experience. The shop has a warm and modern feel, making it a nice spot to relax. Their menu focuses on coffee and desserts, and both were well presented and full of flavor. The coffee was smooth and well balanced, and the dessert I tried was fresh and not overly sweet. Service was friendly and attentive without being rushed. Prices are a little higher than average, but the quality and atmosphere make it worth it. Overall, Crome is a great place if you’re looking for a cozy café experience with a focus on indulgent treats.
