⭐ 1-Star Review Visited the KFC near King’s Cross and was genuinely surprised to find they don’t accept American Express. Smaller shops and off-licences nearby say they can’t take Amex due to costs — fair enough. But a major franchise like KFC refusing it makes no sense. Almost every big brand accepts Amex these days, even independents like METI. For a global chain to operate like a corner shop is disappointing. I only use Amex, so I had no option but to leave and buy food elsewhere. KFC really needs to sort this out. For a brand of this size, not accepting a standard payment method is unacceptable in 2025.

DO NOT EAT HERE I had this kfc on the 27/12 as we was playing pool in hurricanes and they currently wasn’t serving food. So I went to buy myself and my dad a wrap each. I should have known when eating it that it tasted old, dry and stale. That night. Both me and my dad was vomiting for the next 24h. No one else in our house got sick and it’s the only thing we both are Separate to Anyone else. As long as you’re okay with food poisoning, then feel free to eat here

I had an amazing experience today at KFC in Kings Cross. It was the best meal I’ve had! I’ve tried chicken items at other locations they were not so good, but today at Kings cross KFC the taste was exceptional and the chicken was cooked perfectly and the service was also good. I'm loving it, and I hope they maintain this quality!

I was at this branch, and honestly, I did not have the best of service and neither the best of products. The chicken that day was salty. The staff didn't give much attention I had to practically be begging for condiments. The dinning were not well cleaned. I didn't have value for money one bit. I had expected KFC to do better but none. The lobby area weren't well taken care of.
