Our first time dining at the Ivy. A very busy and classy restaurant. Cocktails to start, they were very good. The ambience was also very good and the service was excellent from our server Sophia, and we were also looked after by Andrew on the evening. They were both tentative and knowledgable about the suggested dining options. The sea bass was very tasty and the burger was excellent. Thanks also for the lovely surprise profiteroles to celebrate our anniversary. The food was lovely and prices reasonable. We will be calling again.

I have always enjoyed dining at The Ivy due to the very welcoming nature of each and everyone employed there. The design and deco is like being in an art gallery, every space evokes your imagination. The customer service of Rodger was above par, even created a custom made hand wipe using a serviette, hot water in a beautiful kettle and fresh lemons because no hot wipes were available. That is excellence in customer service. Amelia was so welcoming and very helpful with navigating around the breakfast menu, making ample suggestions to my dietary needs. The reception staff who are the pinnacle of any restaurant were dressed in a very presentable manner and were very approachable and accommodating especially as it was a walk-in. I would highly recommend dining at The Ivy, Spinningfields, Manchester and would also recommend the rooftop terrace and the Asia Room. Prices are not excessive of places that are in Spinningfields and every area caters to your needs.

Beautiful restaurant, the staff were amazing and did such a great job at catering to all our needs. I had the duck salad which was delicious. Drinks came quick and we didn’t wait long for the food to come out.

The restaurant has lovely decor and has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly. We visited to try the Downton Abbey experience and was honestly left disappointed. The menu bore no resemblance to the Downton Abbey, and the meal wasn't that great. The meal was overpriced, and some of the steaks had loads of grisle and they didn't have all of the side dishes available. Overall I was sadly disappointed especially considering it was for a special birthday celebration.

Visited for my wife's birthday, mid afternoon visit. Lovely friendly staff, lovely surroundings. Food was fantastic, excellent service. Only downside would be the price, but I suppose you get what you pay for.
