Casual Thai eatery with group tables and benches

Busaba Kingston Riverside

This is a lovely Thai restaurant on the banks of the river Thames at Kingston. It comprises of a large indoor area and has several outdoor tables too.

It has a good menu offering a wide range of Thai inspired dishes complemented by a good range drinks including lovely smoothies and cocktails.  We had a very late brunch at 14:50! My choice of Omelette Pad Thai Jay was excellent as was my Koh Phi Phi smoothie (orange and strawberry with coconut). The rest of my group enjoyed their choices too.  Initially we were a group of four and were looked after by, if my recollection is correct, Alison.  We did not have to wait long at all but when we were joined by two others at an adjacent table something went wrong. Drinks were served promptly but, when the food did not arrive after about 20 minutes we found out that it had not been placed. Unfortunately as we were on a schedule we could not wait on the order being placed again.

This spoiled an otherwise lovely dining experience.  Nonetheless I would still recommend it.

We were seated right away and wait time for food is less than 10 minutes. Most importantly, the food tastes amazing, and portions are just enough to be enjoyed and be satiated.

Will definitely order everything we had today again.

Exceptional Dining Experience at Busaba Kingston Riverside.

Had an amazing experience at Busaba Kingston Riverside. The staff were incredibly welcoming and created such a warm atmosphere from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully presented.

What stood out the most was how friendly and patient the staff were especially Sandra and Jaspreet, who went above and beyond to ensure our visit was memorable. They were so accommodating with our little ones, even when there was a bit of a mess around the table.

A special mention to the team for arranging a beautifully plated anniversary surprise dessert for my friend’s wife, it was a thoughtful touch that made the celebration even more special.

The overall ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic, perfect for family outings or special occasions. Excellent customer service, delicious food, and a great vibe highly recommended.

I would happily go back. Lunch was good for the price. Service was good but, as others mentioned, it can be slow: we managed to get our food quickly, but had to wait a while to be noticed and ask for the bill (the restaurant wasn't too busy).

Celebrated my birthday with friends here at Busaba Restaurant in Kingston Riverside and had a wonderful time! Good service from friendly staff. The lovely chef lady even surprised us with a complimentary brownie dessert - a lovely touch! Warm hospitality from the manager and delicious food. Highly recommend

Most of our chicken dishes are halal! Just check with the manager on duty to find out which ones.
