I recently visited Busaba in Covent Garden. The service was a little on the slow side, but the food easily made up for it. We ordered the sharing platters, and every single item on them was packed with flavour—fresh, well-seasoned, and genuinely delicious. The standout dish of the night was the Mussamen Lamb. It was extraordinary: tender, rich, and beautifully balanced. We also had the Pad Thai, a classic choice, and it didn’t disappoint—comforting, tasty, and exactly what you expect from a well-made version of the dish. Overall, despite the slightly slow pace of service, the food quality was impressive and consistent. A great spot if you want bold flavours and a relaxed dining experience in the heart of Covent Garden.

We ordered the Tom Yam Goong and waited a considerable amount of time. When it finally arrived, we were met with absolute disappointment. The single fork full of noodles I managed to lift was literally the only noodles in the entire bowl of soup. The broth itself tasted like watered-down tinned tomato – completely bland and inedible, lacking any of the authentic Thai flavours you'd expect from Tom Yam. We politely mentioned it was fine but asked if we could get more noodles. The kind waitress (the only redeeming aspect of this experience) was lovely and understanding throughout. The same bald waiter who "greeted" us then shoved the bowl (it can only be described as a pitiful portion of plain noodles) onto our table without a word. Between the appalling service from the kitchen and that particular waiter, we decided to leave. We came for lunch and left hungry. Thank you to the one waitress who tried her best to salvage this disaster. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We visited Busaba Covent Garden to celebrate our daughter’s birthday as party of 6. The staff was very attentive and made every effort to make it special for us. The decor is passable but quality of food made up for lack of decor. Would highly recommend the calamari, spring rolls, sharing platter for two, crispy duck noodles, sirloin steak and king prawn red curry. Everything ordered came out lovely really. All of the staff were very friendly especially Gian who served us. Thank you!

Whether you eat in or get delivery, this food is outstanding! Fresh ingredients, delicious variety of options to choose from. If you haven't tried thier calamari yet, drop everything and order it now! It's phenomenal! And the high standards are consistent thru all branches too. And always friendly smiling staff.
