Exceeded my expectations: I’d recommend their chicken wings and onion rings as starters and the Steakhouse marination option for the steak. And they offer a 10% discount for NHS personnel.

I was in Tooting by accident and needed to be fed. I walked up and down the highv Street and found nothing special. I found Steakout as I walked past the Asian shops. It was full. A good sign. I got the early bird special. T steak wear small but tastee great. The steak cut chips tasted like card board. I did not finish these. I would have preferred fries or mash but that was not an option as it was a special price. The service was very good. The atmosphere could have been better as there were lots of wide boys there after mosque making lots of noise. On the whole a good experience

“The food was the best because I love the Mac and cheese and it had a lot of flavour. The milkshake was also really nice because it had a lot of Oreo flavouring” - sweet words from my 10 year old

We had an early dinner at the restaurant, which was relatively empty. We were promptly seated and served. First, our drinks were brought to the table, followed by our meal order. We were asked if we wanted our starter with our main meal, to which we agreed. When the food arrived, it was piping hot and cooked to perfection. My steak was particularly delicious.

I’ve been a regular at Steakout for years, enjoying what was once a reliable spot for a hearty meal. Sadly, my most recent visit left me disappointed and questioning if it’s worth returning. I ordered the sirloin steak, a dish I used to love, but this time it fell flat in both presentation and taste. The steak was lackluster, lacking the juicy tenderness I had come to expect. The entire meal felt rushed, with no attention to detail, and it was a stark contrast to the quality I remembered. On the positive side, I do appreciate that the restaurant is halal, which makes it a great option for those who need that dietary consideration. It’s also somewhat child-friendly, which can make it a convenient choice for families looking for a casual meal out. However, the atmosphere, which used to be cozy and welcoming, now feels non-existent. It’s hard to feel at ease when the vibe is so uninspiring. On top of that, the customer service was subpar. Staff seemed disinterested, and it took far too long for even basic requests to be addressed. To top it off, the prices are now steep for what you get, which makes the overall experience feel even more disappointing. It’s sad to see a once-loved spot fall so far short of expectations. I can’t recommend Steakout anymore, especially when there are so many other places that offer better food and service at a more reasonable price.
