What a delicious meal, with mouth-watering lamb shank, and the beef ribs were very succulent and tender. The desserts were delicious and just the right amount, I recommend the Tiramisu. Shusma was a sweet and polite waitress who made sure we had what we needed. Thank you for making it a memorable experience .

I recently visited Meli Melo on Brick Lane for their Sunday roast, and the whole experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The roast itself was absolutely fantastic - perfectly cooked meat, crisp-yet-tender vegetables and a rich, flavourful gravy that tied everything together beautifully. Every element tasted thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear the kitchen takes real pride in their food. When it came to dessert, we genuinely couldn’t decide… so we ordered a variety of them, and I’m so glad we did! Each one was incredible in its own way - beautifully plated, full of flavour and clearly made with top-quality ingredients. Whether you prefer something indulgent, fruity, or lighter, there’s a dessert here that will completely win you over. The atmosphere at Meli Melo is just as impressive as the food. The staff are warm, attentive and genuinely passionate about what they do. The cosy, vibrant setting makes it the perfect spot for a relaxed Sunday meal or a special treat. Overall, Meli Melo delivered one of the best Sunday dining experiences I’ve had in London. Delicious food, amazing desserts, lovely people - highly recommended and I’ll definitely be returning!

We ordered a set menu consisting of lamb birria style tacos, beef sirloin as man and chocolate fondant as dessert. Lamb taco was nice but didn’t get the birria taste from it, tasty nonetheless. The mains, absolutely delicious! The portion size was a little small for my liking but everything worked so well together, the beef and all the sides, would have liked a bigger size for the beef, it was thin and not what you expect from sirloin cut meat but again, very tasty. Dessert was good, light one to finish off the meal. We asked for extra gravy and a few more scoops of ice cream and they accommodated, which was nice of them and service was great. Plenty of drinks options, the one in the image is a mojito (best seller) but the best one was the daiquiri, give it a go if you’re into non-alcoholic mocktails.

Meli melo The place and food are mediocre at best. They are only busy because the meet is halal, but the overall food quality is not really there. The meats were fine but there are weird sauces in the plates and a palate destroying salt blend that they put on all veggies that i did not understand, appreciate nor like. Its a yellowy-orange blend of salt and some peppery, paprika spices maybe with done chilly too. Cauliflower was way under cooked while the other veggies were over baked/cooked. Overall not a traditional roast but a bad interpretation of it. Staff is dressed in their own outfits so most of them dont look like staff. All staff serves all tables so we had one person showing us to the table, one taking the order, another brought the food and yet another took away the plates. Some of the tables are so close to each other that if someone leave the next table their buttocks is likely gonna graze your table while getting out their seat. Overall the place is not for us, but has its own clientele who i am sure enjoys it. We will not be back.

Meli Melo is a lovely restaurant on Brick Lane. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food tasted amazing and there were a wide selection of choices on the menu. We ordered Sirloin Steak, Salmon and Beef tacos. The presentation gives off fine dining vibes and the overall experience was amazing. They had a selection of different roasts which looked delicious so will definitely be returning for more.
