So I absolutely love Butchies. The food slaps, hence the 5 star ratings. BUT I had an absolutely transcendental meal one drunk evening a couple of years back with their now discontinued plant based burger. It was perfect. Cheesy, (fake) meaty, crispy, delectable. It ruined me for all other plant burgers (with the exception of Dumbo - iykyk). I now find that every time I walk past Butchies, think of them after a night out, or see their listing on Deliveroo, I am struck by the grief of no longer being able to order this burger. In times of stress, I find myself longing to call up their poor staff to ask if and when this burger is coming back. It’s been 2.5 years now and I just have to say - Butchies, bring back the damn vegan burger?? It’s crazy that you don’t have one on your menu in this day and age. When my friends want chicken, I want to be able to eat something other than halloumi fries, cheese fries, or mac and cheese!! The burger was so good?? I’m sorry if you didn’t get enough validation for it when it launched. But truly, bring it back, please. It’s been long enough x

Tried the chicken burger with cheese and buffalo sauce — really tasty! The burger had a nice balance of heat and flavor, and the cheese made it extra delicious. The cheese fries were great too, though I wish there was a bit more sauce. Overall, a solid and satisfying meal!

I had higher expectations, but Butchies didn't feel a whole lot different to a standard chicken stop. I doubled up on the meat, and the burger fell apart as soon as I picked it up. The service was fine. Not rude by any means. They were definitely understaffed. You need more than just two people on at lunch time. The atmosphere was bright and clinical. Overall, the fact that I travelled two busses to get here, and spent nearly £20 on a meal, left me somewhat disappointed.

The best chicken for us German tourists, especially with that fantastic "sauerkraut"! ;) Huge thanks to the woman that served us on the evening on oct 31st 2025 for her brilliant service. She was kind, patient, and made everything perfect! We also loved the flair and the great music, such a fun experience! Thank you!

Great chicken burgers and wings. Fries are good too. The real MVP for me was the gravy sauce tho, definitely upped the deliciousness factor, goes with everything. Highly recommend. They've got some seating upstairs, clean, functional, not the most atmospheric.
