MB Chicken

We finally got to try MB Chicken in Hounslow – and honestly, it was such a great find! If you’re always on the lookout for good halal food like we are, this place is definitely worth checking out. The restaurant was super clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was really quick, which is always a bonus when you’ve got hungry mouths to feed.

We ordered the Big Mary combo, the original chicken tenders, and the chicken pop-ins – everything was hot, crispy, and full of flavour. You could tell it was all freshly made, and the portion sizes were really generous too. The tenders were probably our favourite – so juicy inside with that perfect crunch on the outside.

Also, the prices are amazing for what you get! Big Mary Mondays for £3.99? Absolute bargain. There are loads of other deals under £6 as well, so it’s great if you’re eating out on a budget.

Overall, it’s a fab spot for a casual bite with family or friends – quick, tasty, and super satisfying. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Hi! I just visited MB Chicken again, and I go there at least once a month — it’s my favorite spot for fried chicken. I used to eat at KFC, but ever since I tried MB Chicken about six months ago, I’ve never looked back. Trust me, it’s a game changer! The chicken is very crispy, a little spicy, and absolutely delicious.

What I really love is that it doesn’t feel oily at all, which makes it even better. In my opinion, it’s one of the best places in town for fried chicken. I usually just have two pieces, and it totally makes my day.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the place is big enough to visit with friends or family for a nice meal. I definitely recommend it and will keep coming back every month. Thank you!

I ordered a small MB burger, 6 wings and their mash-up bowl.

I honestly wanted to like the food, and I don't normally write reviews unless the food is so bad I feel compelled like an exorcist trying to rid the devil from a possessed to write this. The food that was served to me is worst than pub grub.

The MB burger bun tasted quite hard like the bun's been heated in the microwave, it didn't taste fresh.

The wings smelled bad, even with the sweet coating, I struggled to eat it so gave it to my dog. I don't think the chicken was fresh at all. It's dog food, undeserving of human beings.

The potatoes in the mashed-up bowl tasted like it was previously frozen and defrosted, it has the exact same starchy taste you get from defrosted frozen mashed potatoes you get from the supermarkets.

Given the competition in Hounslow, I give MB chicken a month or two but it's better you close shop now as the quality isn't there. You won't survive in this tough market where others use fresh ingredients.

What a missed opportunity 😞! I really wanted to like this place. I've noticed that the place is empty every time I've walked past. Yesterday, was the first time I've actually eaten from here. Everything about it screamed quality. From the decor to the food, to the spacious sesting. It has the making for a regular dinner joint. But sadly the food isn't anything special. I've been reviewing places on Google maps for quite some time now and I try to be fair and objective at all times. The staff here were fantastic. Very well mannered, attentive and treated my friend and I like guests at their home. That's really something! The food arrived quick! Another plus. Unfortunately there is no flavour in the standard chicken burger. Nothing. It tastes like a chicken that was fried in oil with some breadcrumbs. Unremarkable and definitely not what I was expecting. Did the owners test the food before deciding to bring this Canadian chicken joint to the UK? I don't think they did enough research. We were given a spicy chicken burger after expressing our honest opinion on the burger. This burger was a bit better than the bland first burger, but it felt heavily sprinkled with some sort of hot powder and hot chipotle style sauce. Although I was humbled by the staffs attempt at resurrecting our opinion to something positive, unfortunately this burger gave me heart burn and the flavour just didn't gel well with the chicken. That's my honest opinion.

If you want consistently decent fried chicken, go to Aladdins opposite the train station. It's the poler opposite of this place. Seating is garbage and you feel like you're in a third world country, but the food is always spot on (I'm talking about Aladdins here). If MB Chicken had the flavour of Aladdins, I'd see no reason for this place to be empty most of the time. Solid attempt at doing the overly saturated fried chicken restaurant. I think we need something different. Lebanese wraps is another amazing opportunity OR Turkish food. If I was the owner I'd wrap this place up and go with a Turkish/ Lebanese easy food like wraps.

Sadly, nothing special about the food at all. Excellent attempt at everything else.

Being Canadian I've had Mary Brown's in Canada and was super excited when I found out it was opening here. It was well worth the wait. Absolutely delicious. The taters & gravy were awesome. We will be back
