I had a wonderful experience at The Great Chase. The beef Wellington was exceptionally delicious, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The drinks were slightly on the pricier side, but they were enjoyable and well-presented. The highlight of the evening was the sticky toffee pudding, which was incredibly tasty and a perfect finish to the meal. Overall, a highly enjoyable visit and I would happily return.

I had seen the great chase all over social media for months and had been really wanting to come here. So I bought my Mum here for a treat day. The are not enough words to describe how much we loved it. It’s been a dream of mine to have Beef Wellington for a long time and it’s still surreal to me that I had a HALAL Beef Wellington. One word to describe it, PHENOMENAL. We also ordered the Harissa slow cooked Lamb roast. BEST ROAST EVER!! Meat that just falls off the bone and melts in your mouth And the all the sides were incredible!! And the desserts absolutely sublime!!!! We had the Tiramisu & sticky toffee pudding. It has been a dream of mine to try sticky toffee pudding & tiramisu for a long time as well and it is still surreal that I got to eat both deserts!! And although I don’t enjoy coffee I LOVED the tiramisu!! We felt welcomed and the staff was respectful helpful and friendly and even the Chefs were very friendly and our order was taken quick and the food came quick and it was fresh hot. The atmosphere was wonderful and clean. We are still talking about how amazing the food was and are already planning our next visit We will definitely be recommending The Great Chase to everyone.

Would 100% recommend the Great Chase to others - the food was delicious! Very generous portions so worth every penny. Tried the mocktails also which were very well-crafted at the dry bar. Presentation of food and general ambience and aesthetics to the restaurants was great also. The manager and waiting staff were very accommodating and approachable - had some lovely conversations with them and got some great recommendations for food. Very unique halal restaurant with high quality and traditionally British food (with a twist) - also very good to know that the owners have interests in how they source their meats organically. Will definitely be returning InshaAllah!

genuinely the BEST roast..better than my mum’s (don’t let her see this) 🥔the roast potatoes..GET HERE NOWW 😩 nothing was dry on the plate and if that wasn’t enough, the manager gave us extra gravy when we ran out on the house 🥹🫙 the ambience was so lovely as well, perfect for a chill thursday night 😎😎 and we had a lovely chat with the manager about where we came from and the origins of the restaurant too!! :) it was lovely to see how passionate he was - you can tell a lot of hard work and love went into the makings of the great chase 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ felt comfortable and 100/10 food what’s not to love - will be returning !! °🍗⋆.ೃ🍴࿔*:･ omg also i forgot the sticky toffee pudding was SOOO GOOD ୧ ‧₊˚ 🍮 ⋅ ☆

Good portion sizes, but the execution missed the mark. I visited The Great Chase with a friend and had high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was a little disappointing given the price point. We started with the lamb croquettes, which were unfortunately quite dry. We also ordered the bone marrow; while the marrow was fine, it was served with two small pieces of soft bread that were completely unsuitable. We finished the bread while having a lot of marrow left—a sturdy sourdough would have been a much better choice to carry the dish. For the mains, we had the T-bone steak and the beef roast. The steak was just okay; it was a bit too chewy and didn't really taste like it was dry-aged. The roast arrived cold. When I asked for it to be heated, the waiter mentioned he couldn't make it "piping hot," but after a 10-minute wait, it did come back warmer and tasted better. On the positive side, the portion sizes were good. However, considering the bill, the meal lacked the "wow" factor. Everything was just "OK" rather than exceptional. We really hope the team takes this feedback on board and makes improvements. It is such a unique, fully Halal fine-dining concept, and we really want to see it succeed, but the execution needs to match the ambition.
