We traveled 125miles to come here because my son loves this place. The captions says it all. The best hands down , the vibe is so good here too and waiter service great, large mocktail and daiquiri range too. Been coming here for 5 years twice a year for anniversaries and birthdays . The biryani's are awesome here too a whole lamb shank protruding out of it. The kids always wake up early to travel here and sleep the way back home (That says it all really)

Was craving some chaat. I’ve been to their other restaurant - Saffron Kitchen many times and I’ve always loved the chaat platter there. Since I was in the Gants Hill area however and didn’t fancy the drive to Leyton, we decided to come here instead because they do the same platter. I’ve been here several times too over the years, and whilst the food has always been consistently decent, it’s definitely never been anything to remember - just more of a nice convenient place if I’m in the area and can’t think of anywhere else to go. Anyway, I hoped the chaat platter would be just like Saffron Kitchen’s, unfortunately, it wasn’t - all the chaats were far too sweet, and the gol gappe were filled almost entirely with yogurt, which none of us enjoyed. The mains were better - nothing wow as usual, but decent with nice balanced flavours and decent portions. The Indian dishes were definitely better than the Chinese fusion options though. That said, the restaurant itself is very aesthetic, and we were seated quickly with great service throughout. The food presentation is always on point, with a bit of added theatricals for the gram if you’re into that kind of thing.

Wow! Words cannot describe how the food was, simply amazing 🤩 Made me feel like i am eating on the streets of Mumbai… 🥰 Every dish in the menu is simply amazing The taste, the flavours, the aroma and the service, just loved it. The service was very fast. I would not consider and compare the place to fine dine or any such restaurants but would rather say it’s the best Street Food Joint in London. The taste and flavours beat a famous fine dine around here as well. Best Value for Money as well… Keep it up 👍🏻

I’ve been going to Saffron Street in Gants Hill for a long time and usually really enjoy their food — it’s always been one of my go-to spots, and I’ve never had any problems before. However, this past Friday I had a very different experience. After dining there, both my husband and I ended up with severe food poisoning that left us bed bound all weekend. It was extremely unpleasant and concerning, especially as I’ve always trusted this restaurant in the past. I hope the management takes this seriously and looks into what may have gone wrong, because up until now I’ve always been a happy customer.

This is a hidden gem in Ilford. Have been following reviews for few months, and thought will give it a go for Sunday Lunch 😀 Nice choice for vegetarians and good selection if you are foodie 😊 Kalai the chef, ensured our order was served within 15 minutes. Staff were very polite and recommended few signature dishes from the menu. Lunch crowd was just building up for a Sunny Sunday at 14.00 pm, but the place got pretty full by 3.30 and there was big reservation for 20 people, so we were on time before they arrived 😋 Kitchen was super busy with Deliveroo orders too, so it must be popular one for locals! Please make sure, you are super hungry before you come to this place to do justice to the meal. Definitely coming back 🤗
