The highlight of the meal was definitely the lard on toast, its almost like prosciutto but so luxurious and fatty and just melts in your mouth without being sickly, paired with honey and some nuts it’s just a wonderful starter. The steak however was slightly disappointing, the cooking of the steak seems over around the outside and under in the inside but regardless it was generally tender. But the flavour is a bit bland and I didn’t like the excess olive oil drizzled over it. The Mac and cheese was also great. I’d say it’s a bit on the pricey side for the quality of the steak.

I love the food in London, and this was maybe one of my best meals ever! Didn’t do any research, but I spent the day working at the nearby law school and only had a quick lunch break. This was nearby, and looked cute from the outside and it was even cuter on the inside! The lunch specials were generous portions and the pasta was amazing! So authentic, I could really go for their pesto right now!!

Good environment and simple yet unique style. Food was good, really liked the enthusiasm of the waiter who served us. We were also brought a small starter (bread and cured meat slices) free of charge, really appreciated it. Would definitely go there again
