Back to Aura this time trying out their brunch menu which is served everyday. They still working on menu as they just started. But they have loads of egg dishes as well as brunch lunch dishes like burgers, steak and fish and chips. Probably there will be a lot of changes to the brunch menu and also breakfast menu will be added.

The turkey breakfast was excellent. The highlight has to be eggs. These eggs you can tell are excellent quality. A lot of places tend to always use cheap eggs and doesn’t really give any memorable moments. These eggs had creamy and thick texture and taste to it. And for me breakfast dishes are always a winner when you don’t get that oily and greasy feeling afterwards.

Prawns were massive and super tasty and fresh. Their pancakes were pretty enjoyable too but I’m not a chocolate person. So probably for someone that loves chocolate. Their soufflé has to be one of the top soufflés as well. As good as many of the french places I’ve had. Super fresh tasting soufflé. Must try
.
All in all good spot for brunch with lovely aesthetics. By the time a lot of ppl visit, the menu probably will change as well as plating as they are doing their finishing work on the brunch and breakfast menu

@auragrillandbar is a newly opened restaurant and lounge in Essex serving a range of dishes crossing over cuisines.

Here’s what we ordered:
- Korean Skewers
- Beefy bao bun*
- Cala Calamari
- Sirloin Steak*
- Beef Ribs

Overall we enjoyed the visit and the fact that this restaurant caters a bit of everything as opposed to one cuisine. We’ve noted our favourites with *. It is noteworthy to request extra bbq sauce for the beef ribs as it wasn’t as bbq-heavy as we expected it to be.

This restaurant is a good spot for date night or a special occasion. On weekends we recommend visiting before 9pm as it can be quite busy (that’s if you’re looking for a quieter spot).

Aura Grill and Bar

The restaurant was clean, hygienic, tidy, comfortable, vibrant, sleek, modern, unique, bright, huge, spacious and elegant which is perfect if you want something special arrange like anniversary, engagement party, birthday party, Christmas party, New Year’s Eve party and New Year’s party. The staff were friendly, welcoming, respectful, polite, organised, well mannered, professional, understanding, sociable, knowledgeable , helpful and supportive. The food was well presented, colourful, great, delicious, mouthwatering, memorable, tasty although my friend said the portions were small and the asparagus was hard that is something she didn’t like but the my friend and I enjoyed non alcoholic cocktail very much in this restaurant. The price was over £60.00 which includes the service charge something I didn’t like at all but I guess some places do it as well, it is not just this place. If you want to make your day to remembered by your special person in your life then come here because it will be the best for special day.

Came to Aura for my birthday. Overall the experience was amazing. However food did disappoint- I was told the bone marrow was steamed overnight however it was pink and I haven’t had it before like this. Steak was okay and chips were okay. Entertainment was great but food wasn’t that great.

The food service was absolutely excellent. The dishes were incredibly delicious truly some of the best I’ve had. The staff members were fantastic, always helpful and attentive, regularly checking in to make sure everything was perfect. A great experience from start to finish!

We chose Aura Grill and Bar to celebrate our anniversary, and it did not disappoint. The aesthetics were really pretty I loved the theme of purple, black and grey. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a lovely waitress who got us seated in a great spot very quickly. Customer service was amazing our waitress always came over to check if we were good or needed anything. They didn’t come over too much which made it a whole lot better.

For starters we ordered bread and hummus, mini burgers and Bbq Boa buns. I personally don’t like hummus but my partner really enjoyed it. The bread was amazing and whatever seasoning was on the bread was so tasty. The mini burgers were amazing and the Boa buns were the best boa buns I’ve ever tasted.

For mains we ordered a beef burger and chips as well as Beef bbq ribs and mash potatoes, and for the sides we ordered Macaroni and cheese and sweet potato fries. The beef burger was not great to be honest it was tough, dry and very salty. The chips were fine though and the Beef bbq ribs were so nice, it literally fell off the bone. The bbq sauce was amazing and the mash potato and vegetables really made the whole meal. Their Macaroni and cheese is the best restaurant Macaroni and cheese that I’ve tasted, and I’ve tasted 3 different restaurants.

The drinks we ordered were the Summer aura, Strawberry daiquiri, and a Virgin mojito. The summer aura was amazing I had to get it twice, it was full of flavour and I don’t normally have mocktails because there is always something I don’t like in them but this was amazing. It contained strawberries, watermelons, raspberries, mango juice and strawberry purée. I don’t like raspberries so I removed it but it still gave what it needed too. The Strawberry daiquiri tasted way better than I thought and the virgin mojito was decent.

We didn’t ordered dessert as there was nothing we really wanted on the menu and they gave us a cute small piece of pistachio baklava to celebrate our anniversary. Which was nice but extremely sweet, too sweet. But we were very grateful. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Harry was great at serving us at the table. He managed our order so well and he even arranged for a nice birthday sparkler for us. Thank you Harry, exceptional service !
