Pizza Union has three stores across London. They serve up some wicked, fresh and oven-baked pizza on order.

Alongside the vegetarian and vegan options on their menu, Pizza Union also serves Chicken. Infact, the chicken they use is sourced from Halal-certified suppliers which means they report that their chicken is Halal across all branches.

However, their chicken is not prepared separately to other meats. It is prepared and cooked alongside the non-Halal options which increases the likelihood of cross-contamination.

All Pizza Union stores use separate utensils and preparation areas to avoid cross-contamination between veggie and non-veggie options. However the meat is always prepared together.

For this reason, it is questionable whether the Chicken options on the Pizza Union menu is Halal.
