Simply Smashed - Quality Smash Burgers

This joint satisfies all cravings. From a brilliant array of smash burgers to a superb chicken thigh burger. The wings and the fries are perfection with a variety of flavours available to choose from. This place also hosts one of the best tiramisu’s in London. It’s got everything!

The customer service is amazing here. The owner is really welcoming and looks after you as a customer. I definitely recommend this place to anyone craving a top tier burger.

This is literally my go-to place for beautiful burgers, chips and wings. Whether it’s the angus beef, wagyu beef or chicken burger, you can simply never ever go wrong at Simply Smashed.

The staff are forever hospitable and it’s a very relaxed vibe if you want to eat in. Whether you’re meeting up with a group of friends or even taking your partner, this is the place to relax, have great conversations and eat the best burgers you’ll ever have!

My usual order is a double wagyu beef burger, skin on fries and garlic parmesan wings

Simply the best burgers in the local area (Stepney Green/Mile end). So glad to have a place that doesn’t have dead, tasteless burgers. The meat in the smashed burgers is moist and juicy, I love the amount of sauce/cheese used (if you don’t like a saucy burger this may not be for you). I enjoy watching the sauciness drip from my burger whilst fireworks go off in my mouth from every mouthwatering bite. The chips however are a hit or a miss, not always satisfied with these but due to the great burgers I’ll keep coming back.

Food comes in a sturdy, recyclable box. Restaurant is inside a plant store, amazing unintentional aesthetics. The sauce sachets that come with the food needs to be changed as they do not compliment the meal at all, basic ketchup would be a better choice.

I went in with a couple brothers and my expectation at first from looking at the location was not all that but I was surprised Alhamdulillah. First we had to scan the qr code on entry to look at the menu. And the options were amazing with the prices were decently ranges out. We ordered two mixed platter for two. The Double Smashed Burgers was the best HMC burger I have had in a while. I would give the burger an 8/10 but that's just me if anything I should have added the chili sauce to overall boost the flavour but that's on my side. The chips I would give a 8.5 out of 10 it's just the and tastes overall peri peri powder tasted really nice. And the Dynamite wings tasted really spot on I just felt as though I should have used more sauces to experiment with I would give it a 8/10. The
TIRAMISU was a 10/10 I have never had one as good as this Alhamdulillah. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of it since I was just hungry. But everything was just on point with it. The customer service was a 9/10 and the overall experience was a 10/10. Everything was made fresh and it wasn't much of a wait considering the also had to make takeaways.

The best halal wagyu burgers I've had. They are so juicy.  The wings are to die for. Simply smashed have simply outdone themselves and it's no wonder I'm a frequent returning customer. Immensely pleased

Chicken, wraps and burgers with Peri Peri seasoning

I whipped up a Nandos style iftaar a couple of days ago as we were all craving some juicy peri peri chicken 🤤 Initially, I wanted to use the Nandos marinade but it seems like everyone else had the same idea as me as I couldn’t find it anywhere! So I ended up making my own 😊 The best thing about cooking chicken like is that there are no steps; just whack everything in a blender to make the marinade! 
You will need:
6 chicken legs (including thighs)
1/2 an onion (medium size)
3 cloves garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
2tbsp lemon juice
1tsp salt
1tsp peri peri seasoning
2tsp chilli powder (or less if you prefer your chicken mild!)
1/2tsp paprika
1/2tsp ground black pepper
1/4tsp red food colouring
1 whole scotch bonnet pepper

Once you’ve got your sauce, evenly coat the chicken in it and pop into the oven at 180C for around 40 minutes, turning them over half way. Make sure you make a few gashes in your chicken first in order for it to absorb more flavour! 👌🏽

Best Nandos Branch I’ve visited. This is my go to branch now. Thanks to Nasir, top guy and his team Jack, Gorge & Paige! Amazing staff, providing and exceeding a sensational level of customer service. I was fasting due to the month of Ramadan, and all the staff catered for our needs. Even provided an extra plate to cover our food and keep it warm (as our food came earlier then expected).

The Hungry Mandem

Great customer service, providing fresh quality food thats value for money. Mega Mandem is humongous, variety of lovely flavoured Wings, Chops cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavour, Chilli cheese balls are a great addition. The Drinks were perfect and it seems as though you can never have enough of it.

Food was wicked!! 50 percent was a steal for these type of food, naga wings were just so amazing!! Soo spicy!! If you love spice you will love these. Chilli sauce flavour was just wow and so chilli, burgers really nice, kids loved the colourful buns.
Will definitely order again!

First, I want to say this place is takeaway only and the kitchen is kind of hard to find but if you know the Mile End area, you should be able to find it.
I ordered the Classy Mandem, Banging BBQ wings and the blu ‘ras’ mojito. Didn’t get the chips which was unfortunate as I really wanted to try them out but they was out of stock. The chips that’s came with the meal was nice but very salty. Can’t go wrong with fat chips tbh.
The burger was big but, personally didn’t like the way it tasted. It was dry, and didn’t taste like a normal burger. They tried something new but it wasn’t for me. Personally, I think they shouldn’t put onions in the patty mixture especially when they put caramelised onions as one of the burger toppings. That’s just too much onion. It needed more salt in the burger too. Probably used it all on the chips. If your Bengali it reminded me of a keema bora. Personally shouldn’t  be made as a burger patty. The burger would’ve been a lot better if it was just made the traditional way and a lot more juicy. Would’ve made the meal a lot more enjoyable.
The wings was decent, have nothing bad to say about them. Had loads of BBQ sauce and was topped with sesame seeds.
The mojito was decent too, did taste more minty than blueberry though. Think they needed to add more syrup and maybe more fizz. They also provided chilli sauce. It was extremely spicy but If you love spice you’ll love the sauce. I couldn’t handle it but the chilli sauce did taste good. If I could handle spice I know I would’ve loved that sauce.
Overall, the food was good. Not bad, not amazing. Just standard tbh.

Best burgers I've had so far the portion extremely good for the price the naga wings actually spicey and the mocktails were also really good.

Had a nightmare with Deliveroo delivery but the restaurant went above and beyond to resolve the issue.
Driver had left one of the burgers at the restaurant and one of the restaurant staff noticed and went out of their way to drop off the missing burger and even brought a drink to apologise for the inconvenience.
Amazing customer service and food was great.

with flavours and you can even customise it with naga.
They even serve fish and chips, fish cakes and
battered sausages.
We ordered the following:
*Dynamite prawns
*Dynamite chicken wings
*Dynamite chicken balls
*Salt and pepper wings
*Smokin wok chow mein
*Smokin wok fried rice
*Beef noodles
*Singapore fried rice

The Dynamite selection was lovely! Our favourite will
have to be the prawns! Crispy tempura battered
shrimp covered in a creamy spicy mayo sauce. with
sriracha. They are different to the PF Chang's one but
very unique and regardless tasted really good! This
goes same for the dynamite chicken.
The smokinwok special chow mein was one of our
favourites! It was noodles that was tossed with prawns,
chicken and beef! We chose quarter naga which was
spicy enough for us! A great noodle dish with
authentic Chinese flavours.
The smokin wok special rice was also great and very
filling. We went with quarter naga which elevated the
heat however not too spicy to override the flavours.
Overall, a great Halal Chinese concept that will
definitely see me back!

Brought beef fried rice which could do with a bit more flavour. Portion sizes are fine for the amount they charge. Exceptional customer service, which makes a massive difference to the overall experience. Their meat and poultry are halal although certificates aren't available due to bureaucracy around Halal meat and poultry.  Would visit this place again to get a more comprehensive experience.

Ordered large chicken chow mein and curry chips.   I must say the chicken chow mein was really good and the portion size was huge you can easily feed 3 people. Overall the quality of the food was really nice and the price is cheap. Finally found another  establishment for halal Chinese food

Traditional Chinese takeaway favourites with a modern twist - less oily and more flavour, thoroughly enjoyed the food.  The only minor issue I had was that the bottom half of the sweet and sour tofu was juicy and crispy but the top half was a bit dry.  Will definitely order again.

Food was really nice, Really good value for money. Fed family of 5 for £30 and still had left overs. Ordered sweet & sour chicken, large chow mein, large beef fried rice, sausage in batter, chips. Large portions were adequate for 2 adults.

Picked up a couple of chow meins on the way home tonight, flavour was on point and the boxes it was served in was cute. Nice portions, super prices, I will be back for more👍👍👍

I ordered curry goat during the lunchtime special hours for a bargain price of £8.95. I thought it was a bold move to not provide a knife in their to-go cutlery set, but it made sense once I opened the box because the goat meat was tender enough to pick apart with a plastic fork. The goat wasn’t very spicy, but was still well seasoned and tasted excellent. The mac n cheese surprised me because of how flavourful it was, and the rice & peas was great too. The service was quick, and the family running the restaurant are really sweet. It’s a large portion for the price. Highly recommended.

I should start with the good. The chicken was amazing I've never had jerk chicken done this way before so 👏🏾👏🏾. Now a few things  disappointed me and my guest. First the menu and prices had been changed(no notice was given on arrival). On the old menu that I saw on a review the jerk chicken meal came with some sides and was £8.95but when we orderd it £10.95 and as you can see in the pick just some  🥬,🥒 and 🍅. The food was warm but what disappointed the most was the attitude of the young waitress. The other staff were lovely but she needs to be trained on customer service!.  The aura she gave off was I don't want to be here, she was polite but did not have any warmth to her at all it was not welcoming. So disappointed won't be going back.

Very warm and welcoming place. Beautiful people and so friendly. The food was really tasty and the service was excellent. Not rushed just chilled, I will definitely be going back there with friends and family.... Remember I'm coming back for that ginger drink!

Went there a month ago. I must say dreadful food. Worst carribean food ever. Honestly don't understand why people are giving good ratings. The price seemed reasonable went in for jerk chicken Sunday special. Was told they didn't have vegetables. Fair enough but once they served the Sunday special they were missing mash, roast potatoes etc.They apologised and said they ran out of vegetables, mash and roast potatoes. I felt rude to decline the food as they've gone through the effort to plate the food. So I ordered chip's and prawns as extra. The prawns tastes fresh and delicious however I would of preferred without shells but that's my personal preference. Now for the main...total disappointment. The jerk chicken was dry and chewy, the mac and a cheese had no flavour. The chip's were also dry and hard. Upon paying the Bill we gave honest feedback about the chicken, Fair enough the manager said they would of not served the chicken like that; they don't usually serve the jerk chicken after 4pm as they cook it earlier. Yet they should of told us this before ordering the food. Would of expected a discount due to  missing vegetables, roast potatoes and mash on the special. Yet they didnt have the courtesy to offer a discount they charged full price even the chip's. The can of coke also cost £3 each. The manager gave the wrong amount of change he was short of 15p but my partner didn't seem to fuss about it but I found it rude atleast acknowledge it and apologise he would of said keep the change anyway. I see where they make they're money. On the other hand I like the waitress she seemed friendly. despite my partner bumping in to her using the gents toilet !

Lovely staff I was there at around 7.30pm yesterday evening. Wanting to get some Nice Curry Goat with Rice  salad, plantains as a taste of home for me old  Jamaican mum .The portions were large,the food was lovely. It did not dissapoint. The Hungry Cow - Whitechapel E1

Heard alot of hype from this place so thought I'd try it out. Customer service isn't so great. Staff aren't very welcoming and it felt quite awkward.

The food is overpriced and not even value for money. One of the burgers we had the lettuce was gone off. Absolutely disgusting how they included that knowing its gone off. We opted in for cheese in our wrap. The wrap was loaded with cheese which made the wrap sickening, there was more cheese than chicken.

Don't recommend this place and don't see myself returning here. Food quality needs to improve especially with the prices their selling at.

I came here a few days ago as I heard a few people talking about it. Located on a side street off commercial road, it’s not something you’de see driving passed it from the main road. But I have to say, it’s worth the stop and walk down to it (not far at all from the main road).

The food was amazing, customer service was on point and place looked clean and tidy. I ordered the buttermilk chicken burger, which was so full of flavour! I tried other burgers from my mates that went with me, and I have to say that it was all good! I’d definitely visit again sometime soon!

I travel 22 miles to eat here. Best burger joint ever. Actually might even pop down tonight. Thats how good they r. And what makes it even better is that they guys that run it r super friendly and nice

Had this food yesterday, smash burger was ok nothing special, the double cheeseburger always on point tastes like the McDonald burger, standard fries, butter chicken wrap was good. This place only takes cash only.

Just bought a cheese burger & chips from here, literally one of the best  cheese burgers I have ever had, & the sauce?… the sauce?.. the burger sauce, is just insane.it is absolutely AMAZING! I’ve never tasted anything so tantalising in my tongue, it’s the perfect blend of seasoning! I love it & the customer  service was ace. 10 stars overall.

We are very pleased by this restaurant.
The service is great, waitressess are really doing great job, nice and friendly. Georgina was very helpful. We are recommending the place and it's food, we were more than delighted. Nice atmosphere, discrete music, AC, very clean and tidy.

Excellent French Onion soup and all the deserts are great. We will come back. 5 stars ☺️☺️☺️🙏

Great location, plenty or nearby parking available. Ambiance is very relaxing and calm. Service was good and have come here a few times. First time trying french onion soup and must say, it was punchy with the flavours used, yet getting sweetness from the onions. Wild mushrooms on the steak was a nice touch and gives a deeper taste to the steak. The is the epitome of halal steak and value. Would recommend anyone.

This is a nice warm environment to eat in , the staff waitresses and waiters are all very pleasant and helpful.

Now I'm sure everyone has been struggling to find a decent steak place especially for those who eat halal but I have to say this place does steak really well and use good cuts of meat so you know you are not eating somewhere cheap.

This place does not have a expansive varied menu but what it does do it does very well namely the steaks.

I recommend getting the signature steak fillets or the butcher's cut which for me was slightly better.

The only downside I have to say is ;
1) the moktails are not that great
2) the steaks aren't cooked exactly how you want them for example when ordering a medium I'd get a medium rare, or if I asked well done I'd get a medium. That being said they are happy to take it back to the kitchen for the extra bit of cooking.

At the moment this place for steaks will rank in my top 3 places to eat because it's so rare to find a GOOD steak place.

Due to the minor issues and small menu is say this restaurant is a 3.8-4/5 stars

A local gem in the heart of Whitechapel. Great food, (offers halal meat, which is fantastic). Various Mocktails available which is always a bonus if you want to go alcohol free. Or you can always come for snacks, dessert and a hot beverage (mocha is my absolute fave and they make it well here). Love the chilled out relaxed atmosphere any time of the day. Some nights they also have free live music, which is a lovely touch. Lucky to have this as my local restaurant/bar/lounge and would definitely recommend you to try if you haven't already!

Lovely food. Good staff and lovely cocktails. We stayed at the hotel above and attended here for dinner.

For starters we both had calamari which was lovely.

Then we had the signature steak and chips which was also brilliant. Desert was a chocolate hot brownie, I couldn't finish it, it was so rich. But nonetheless I'd defo return 9/10

The food is absolutely delicious and the service is wonderful. We’ve only been in London a few days and have eaten at the brick lane establishment twice. The burgers are amazing, the pizza is delicious, and the sushi is fantastic! It’s a great halal restaurant that serves all. The service is quick and always comes with a smile. The absolute BEST restaurant!!

Band of Burgers on Brick Lane is by far my favorite gourmet burger in London! It serves a wide variety of food which ranges from  burgers, pizza, sushi that are all delicious and original. The customer service was great. Great atmosphere with great music.. Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really want this to be thee ultimate burger place for me as I've heard very good things about BOB, however after ordering the "Wagyu this way" burger I wasn't super impressed, even though the juiciness was there, it lacked flavour and that was disappointing, my husband had the Elvis burger which he said was average and a little salt on the patty wouldn't go amiss. The meal Portions are a very good size though. Kids loved the chicken nuggets (not your average frozen nuggets) and sweet treats! That was a nice touch. I think I will give this place another try as I believe they have potential, we ordered online for delivery but would like the experience of dining in. Hopefully I'll update this review once we've tried it again.

I loved the food here. It was absolutely one of the nicest burgers I have had. The fries were amazing for fresh cut fries. The services can be a little slow but definitely worth it.

Went in for the Sushi bar which i did not know was not part of BOB, as kids were hungry I just ordered in at BOB. The food was very fresh and the portions were big. Went in after  lunchtime on a Sunday and it was not that busy.

Read about the place from a newspaper blog so visited it. Nice place with good tasting food and cosy environment. The prices for the sandwiches and rolls were very reasonable. We had 1 sandwich, 3 rolls, 1 samosa and a cup of tea for around £15.

This little cafe (with lots of history behind it) is a real gem. The interior is very cool and incorporates the building's Victorian history. The staff (including the owners, Saf and Dee) are always very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are great value, the ingredients are always fresh and the recipes have an interesting (usually spicy) twist.

In addition to coming in for coffee/lunch, the Cabin has also catered an event for me, which again was great quality and value.

I also understand the owners have great new changes and menu items planned.

I have been attending the cafe on my lunch break since it opened. Now further away but travelling from North London it is well worth it. It is the only cafe I will attend can sit eat and enjoy my food. The owners are amazing and will always take their customers interest into consideration. Beautiful cafe to sit and enjoy can recommend to all.

I really enjoyed the masala tea and firecracker chicken roll. Some delicious sausage and kebab roll options too . Very reasonable prices and cosy seating area definitely worth a visit. Service very friendly and welcoming.

Wow. What a cute place! Very cozy and welcoming. The owners have done a great job incorporating the past history of the building, which used to be a milk farm. So cool!

Lots of great coffee options along with good eats. The paninis are tasty! But the milk shakes are a must!

Tried to order off Click & Collect and only three branches available on a website that’s barely functional… no drivers on Uber Eats either, so I ended up going hungry. Normally love your food, would recommend updating your site to be more user friendly in the future

Had the Jacob burger. Overall would say its a 8/10. Very buttery taste but still flavoursome.

4 stars because the chips were terrible. Very starchy and resembled a cardboard taste. Hope they improve that - but would have the burger again

The food is 5 stars however would have to give 1 star rating and will not be coming back 100% due to menu prices changed. I’ll show you a picture below what the original menu was but was changed few days later. The prices all gone up by £1+

Very friendly staff and amazing atmosphere. The bar food is good. The view from there is amazing.
The only thing I would spot is that we reserved a table outside because they guaranteed there would be blankets available. When we asked for a blanket they said they did not have any available.
Luckily, it was not Crowded and we could move to a table inside.

Anyway, I would definitely recommend this bar and for sure I would be back. Lovely experience.

Beautiful cocktails, wonderful atmosphere, great staff and very talented bar crew that knows how to make your evening truly special! Definitely recommend this place for a cool weekend vibe as much as during the week - to enjoy a nice DJ set and have a superb quality of drink and the view!

The food at the bar isn’t halal. However, you can able to pre order ahead of their booking and we can arrange it. A week's notice is sufficient.

We just had a take out lunch and the food was good with the lunch menu price.
Ordered L2, L15 and L17.  Squid dish quite spicy but taste really good. The beef rib soup was nice too.
The reason we gave 3 stars due to missing “side dishes” that’s should come with L15 & 17. Also the staff working there was not friendly at all.

They are real Korean and food was okay, maybe that’s why there’s a queue and full house all the time.

I want to make clear that we did not have BBQ, so this review regards other food.
The reason for the 3 stars is due to: price and quality of food and service.
Although it was a bit busy (I've seen busier places with a better service), I find the delay in serving drinks and food not justifiable.
About the food, we had the Korean pancake which I consider a classic and it was a disappointment. The texture was quite springy (I like the pancake more crunchy) and it lacked flavour, but it might depend on your own taste. The tofu seafood stew was good as well as the noodles, but I was not impressed. So, basically they were average.
What we paid so not worth the price we paid. There are other places in central (Soho and Tottenham) cheaper and tastier!
Again, the BBQ might be different.

One of my favourite restaurants! Food was really hot and came within 10-15 minutes. All chicken and beef is halal and cooked separately. Very high quality and lovely staff. Would definitely go again!! Food in pictures: tteoboki, chicken with rice, chicken dumplings, Korean fried chicken, tofu soup, more Korean fried chicken and jajangmyeon. The Korean fried chicken was the crunchiest chicken I have EVER tasted and the sauce was delicious

I really enjoyed this venue.

I do like Korean food but this was the first time that I tried the table-top BBQ.

Only gripe was the kimchi, it appeared to be picked but not fermented, it was tasty though.

The meat portions for the BBQ were very generous. I would say that a single portion was enough for two people.

The staff are attentive, polite and accomodating.

I will definitely dine here again.

Although it was fully booked they made space for us especially with us having 2 pushchairs, the service was lovely. At first our food came quick and when we ordered again it did come slower but that was bound to happen due to them being busy. Overall great food and lovely staff :)

best pizza (and pizza dough) I've ever had, and amazing pasta! super friendly (and Italian) staff. we shared a pasta plate and a pizza deal including 2 slices, a salad and a drink between two people for 16 pounds in total. 100% recommended!

A nice place to get a pizza, especially if you're vegetarian. I was really impressed by options available. Normally, I'd be lucky to get 2 vegetarian options, but Pixxa has five. I especially like the potato & rosemary as it's unusually, but imaginative choice for pizza topping and the aroma of the rosemary is just fantastic.

My only complaint is that the place is a little priced for what you get, £2.50 for a slice of pizza is a bit much, especially has it wouldn't really be a lunch meal.

The staff are friendly and efficient and are right there to get your order and pay.

The ingredients used are of good quality. I rarely have pizza. And having tasted their fabulous pizza with tuna and anchovies I am now fighting the urge to become a regular customer. Those living/working/passing by the neighbourhood, give this spot a try. You won't regret it. The owner Smil and waitress Angie are welcoming, friendly and warm. Speedy service delivered with a smile. And of course, mouth-wateringly delicious pizza!

I love this place. Convenient and really delicious pizza. Pear juice is lovely and chilli flakes for those who like heat!

So ... what made me give you 3 stars is following  ... I came to you at the weekend to have a pizza. I was there at 11:22I called before to ask if it is possible to eat in the Restaurant. The answer was yes,we have open until 12 pm.Once I arrived there the guy told me that it is not possible to eat in the Restaurant.So I was needed to eat my Pizza on the street,whitch is not nice....The pizza itself was ok for the price but nearly not perfect or very tasty...I prefer to pay a little more and eat something very tasty. But that's just MY PERSONAL opinion. All in all, the service and the pizza.... 3 stars from me, which means ok. 5 would be perfect, it couldn't be better,4 would be great, which it wasn't when I consider the service and the pizza ...Kind Regards.
Ps: I would definitely come back at a late time if I would need a Pizza and would be in this area.

I gave two stars only for the lovely masala tea,service wasn't great hence the low mark. No one was around to serve me had to wait couple minutes, finally a women turned up and she was suppose to make my tea yet she had to take a call and make the tea. I was in a rush as I had a baby in the car waiting with my partner and she was getting frustrated.  Overall lovely tea poor customer service.

I’ve been to their other branch in Forrest gate which is also great. So decided to go to this branch as it’s newer branch and closer to me. Tea was exactly same as the other branch which is great, loved the decor art, will definitely return and try few more stuff.

The best chaii I’ve ever had! Their stuffed naans are really good. Great service and decor.

Quick service. The Inferno chicken bites are decent. I got the most spicy flavour which is peri Inferno bites. Enjoyed thoroughly.

Really nice staff, specially the Team Leader, Imraan. They have a really friendly customer service and they give attention to detail! Amazing for a busy hub to be honest...

Under cooked and hastily thrown together. Probably because the staffing seems to be one quality member of staff (she was fine) surrounded by a troupe of useless trainees.

Worst KFC in the country. Their chicken is either burnt or too salty.
Stuff are terrible too, they don't listen to you nd sometimes too busy arguing or singing by themselves.

I’ve tried the margarita and the fungi (mushroom) pizzas and they are both amazing!

Their service is super quick and the quality is always consistent.
All the pizzas are 12inches and priced really well.

I loved my experience here. Cheap to the point you'll double take, the pizzas were thin and delicious. For only £5/6 you'll first thing it's the cost of a slice. It isn't. Friendly staff and a vibey atmosphere. I'll be coming back!

Simply love this place, great quality pizzas for a budget. The decor is very welcoming and theres always a good vibe in this place, the staff are amazing especially the amazing lady who takes your order at the till. Great food in a great location cant wait to visit again real soon.

The prices are so economical but the quality of food is not compromised. The pizza was light, freshly baked and devious. The staff were quite friendly and the place was cleaned regularly. We tried their cannoli which tasted fine too. Maybe one of the best places in central London to have a delicious pizza on pocket friendly prices.

Coming from NYC in United States I was interested to see how the wings were compared to my home. These were poor to say the least.
I’ve never seen so much breading on a wing before. Unfortunately we ordered three different flavors so we had to deal with that stomach ache. The burger was very sloppy the best part was the sweet potato fries but won’t be eating here the rest of my trip.

Coming from the U.S., I was curious about how a burger in London would taste. The answer is very different. I was blown away.

The hours are short but convenient for me being open til Midnight. The lads that work there are fun and friendly.

I'm not sure what exactly a smash burger is but I can tell you they are smashing. I've been there just about every night since I've tried it. I've had several different menu items.

The Pj, the Brick Lane and the Blimey are all delicious.  Melted cheese,  brioche bun, onion infused patties, specific sauce to the burger choice and the very slightly medium rare temperature wrap everything together into a tidy tasty sandwich.

Plain chips are hot and crispy. Very good. The Potato mess is amazing with the mince meat and cheese. I added the spicy scotch sauce they use on the Blimey to spice it up a bit.

If you are in Tower Hill/Aldgate area, stop in and see these chaps. The food here is absolutely brilliant!

This place is the definition of a "hidden gem". Originally found this on Google looking for a quick bite to eat whilst staying at a nearby hotel, now every time I stay nearby I make sure to visit.

It's located around the back of a pub so seems a bit suspicious at first, but just knock on the door and they're happy to take your order. Takes about 5-10 minutes and you can get a meal for under a tenner, which for London is good value.

These burgers are not fancy looking but my word they are packed full of flavour!!! Very filling and the chips are also really nice. My only critique is the drink comes in a glass bottle, so not great for "on the go", but by no means will that stop me going back every time I check a chance!

My wife had a chicken burger. She took a bite and said "this is really good".

I had the bbq burger and it was way better than anything you can get on the high Street, it was clear that alot of love was put into it!

Wheb you get to the door with the window knock on it! You will not be disappointed we will be back before we go home from our trip I think!

5 star review for a quick burger stop during a wedding! Not only were the team so friendly and nice to deal with but the burger was 10 out of 10 ! Definitely family run and would come back in a heartbeat! Great value for money too!

I wanted to visit this place 10 years ago when  it was smaller. It wasn't busy today around 3pm so I would recommend this time. The presentation of food is excellent,  the service was fast but I had my concerns about the hygiene level. I some one of the staff filling a salad plate using his own bare hands which is not acceptable in my view. Hope this restaurant will take this critique seriously as their dishes are very good. On the positive side, the portions are generous and the staff are very friendly. I recommend the Mango Drink.

This is a great place to go to if you want the option of BYOB in east London. The food was tasty (we had the vegetarian samosas, the lamb chops which were delicious, and a few different curries). The curries were a bit oily and not as packed with flavour as expected, but still good - and very affordable!

One downside is we made a booking for 7:45 but only got a table 40 minutes later, as the front of house is a bit disorganized.

Tayyabs is famous for lamb chops but yesterday I felt like they cooked in a hurry.. some of them are not cooked well, and I can taste the raw masala. Most of the time they get confused with the orders. When you enter they are so nice.. the more time you take to complete the food, they reduce the nice behaviour as well. I understand their business model, but their service could be improved.

Always a good place. Especially if you have a larger group (booking essential).

The Nashville chicken burger comes with an amazing thigh piece. It was super juicy and moist. Cooked to perfection. The Nashville sauce was perfection. It was the perfect heat. Not overly spicy but a nice warmth on the tongue. It was just perfect. Defo would rate this as a top top top chicken burger. Honestly must try

The Nashville wings again perfect. The out batter remained crispy even after the Nashville oil and powder spices.

Nashville loaded fries which is off the menu and I told them to make this for me. And it was banging. It will give competition to my previous favourite loaded fries that they sell. Show them the video and ask them for that loaded fries lol

All in all must try this Nashville range. I’m sure I don’t need to talk about the smash burger and other dishes as they already legendary. Hurry and try the Nashville range

Chicos

I recently visited Chicos, a smash burger restaurant, and I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities. The restaurant was spotless, which is always a plus in my book.

In addition to the clean facilities, I was also impressed with the size of the menu. There was a wide variety of options to choose from, including a halal menu, which was great for those who are looking for halal options.

I decided to try the Nashville chicken wings, and they did not disappoint. They were spicy, tender, and well flavored. The chicken nuggets and chips were also a hit, particularly with my little one, who enjoyed them thoroughly.

But the real star of the show was the smash burger. It was always excellent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious burger.

Overall, I had a great experience at Chicos. The clean facilities, large menu, and tasty food all contributed to a fantastic dining experience. If you're in the mood for a smash burger, I would definitely recommend checking out Chicos.

Consistently great food now, been here 8 times and the smash burger always perfect - good quality meat well balanced with home made pickle and that nice potato roll. Lemon Chilli chicken - some of the best grilled chicken I've had. Amazing service as always, staff make the experience even better. 5* highly recommended

This was a spontaneous visit. The staff were very friendly. We ordered big daddy burger, fries, sweet potatoes fries and a 1/4 chicken platter with 2 chops and 2 wings included. This was served with veg and mashed potatoes. The burger was delicious but the platter was a little disappointing. The sauce on the chicken was average and the veg was just 1 small broccoli floret, a few carrots and lots of courgettes. I didnt enjoy the mash potatoes as it tasted artificial and not fresh. The food is reasonably priced and it did get busy. Would definately go back for the burger though! :-)

The best smash burger I've had, the burger sauce is delicious👌 fried and presentation could be improved. The sauces on the side are nice too. Atmosphere was ok, waitress looked after my little one, brought her a colouring sheet and pencils whilst we waited for food.

CUPP Bubble Tea - Whitechapel

Premium prices but one tasty cup of bubble tea.

Lots of flavoured balls.

Good variety of flavours for the drinks.

Staff were well informed on their menu and able to recommend me a drink I would enjoy.

Service was OK, nothing special.

Parking was a nightmare but eventually left in a residential bay.

One of the best bubble tea I have ever had. Best brown sugar by far. No wonder why my kids and wife love it. 👍

Have been here once and the vibes were nice. The shop is lovely and the staff seem friendly. One thing I did not like is that you cannot opt for no ice and they don't understand the concept of "less ice", maybe this is a way of not using too much tea and saving on ingredients?

Brown sugar milk tea was nice but tapioca was clearly still raw. Had no taste and was hard. Staff also made me a regular instead of a large and if I hadn't noticed on my way out, I would have wasted my money. Thankfully the staff member rectified this by making me a second regular drink.

All in all, there's potential but cutting corners and having fake reviews on Google isn't going to help.

The best bubble tea I have ever had and I have tried them all! The brown sugar one is incredible. The owners are lovely people too. Highly recommend.

Lovely staff. Opening and closing times are brilliant. Drinks are amazing, made quickly even when busy. Passion fruit is my favourite will be a shame if it ends as it’s in a limited time only bracket. Other than that nothing bad to say.

Sahara Grill Whitechapel

The service was lightening speed...food was fabulous and hot. The atmosphere was ambient and inviting. In all, the staff catered for a party of 40. We politely gave them a tip for £20 for the hospitality and professional service rendered on the premises. I highly recommend Sahara restaurant to everyone.

Mixed experience. Chicken was as great as ever. Don’t like new coleslaw. Too watery. Chips on cooked enough. If prices hadn’t increased with smaller portions I would have given a 4 star. Usually it’s 5 stars. Hope owners get their act together as it’s one of my favourites!

The best lamb fillet steak cooked to perfection every time with an absolutely delicious spicy gravy. We’ve been regular customers since the restaurant first opened and loyal ever since, it’s always a wonderful experience. The only disappointment is the replacement of salad for cherry tomatoes with the steak.

What a great place. Food was great. Serb9ce was even better. Got served by a fellas named Hamza and he took great care and paid extra attention to my kids order. That made all the difference going to a restaurant after restrictions eased.

Lovely decor both upstairs and downstairs. The food came quite quickly with only a waiting time of 15 minutes from ordering considering how busy they were.

The food had a good portion packed with flavour and a good range of signature sauces to choose from.

Will come again to try something different.

Food is defo good I would say it’s better than Nando’s in terms of food and price, service on point + decorations and atmosphere, toilet facilities is clean. There is ice/water machine with glasses provided free of charge. The sauces are good but the garlic mayo and hot chilli is 10/10. Definitely will come back.

Good food, great service. This is a family friendly restaurant with many options on the menu. It is clean with nice interior.

Not going to lie it tasted bad.. I ordered full chicken and wings. The chickens tasted awful. Think it was out of date. Drinks came after food and I asked for water but it never came. Chilli sauce taste bad aswel both hot chilli and gourmet. Chilli sauce has mint inside it so its off puting from traditional chilli sauce. Maybe its not same franchise as Ilford lane. Only thing was nice was the drinks. Also the chicken was cold. So maybe that what messed it up more. And the chips were soo hard that i can barely stab fork in to pick it up. It kept bouncing off my plate. Sorry for the review but I spent £40 and nearly vomited on the leg piece. I have receipt if any of the managers want to talk to me about it. Thanks

Ordered through just eat. Not really a sushi fan but this place was amazing. Enjoyed it all. Very fresh tasting. Great food!! So glad it's halal. Did take a good hour and a half to get to my door but they did call and applogise but when you are hungry you're hungry!!  Highly recommended! 5 🌟!!!

This restaurant is appalling. The driver arrived at my road half an hour late driving so recklessly that whatever drink was in his case had leaked. I watched him from the door as he emptied out the bag and then dropped the food on the floor and then chucked everything in my neighbours bin and then showed up to my door empty handed. The restaurant is so poor and useless with customer service, definitely do not recommend.

Ordered from Just Eat. Despite they were late in delivery, the restaurant manager gave me extra items and refunded the order. That was very kind. The food itself is delicious as usual.

Service was amazing and the food was even better! Top quality sushi with completely affordable prices. 11/10 would definitely recommend!

I went to this place for dinner with my sister And the experience was very poor.

We watched several people who came in after us who placed their orders after us receive they're food before us it's was clear they didn't want us in the restaurant..

As you can see by the pictures the food was  not cook the chicken was raw and half of the chips was frozen.

The food here was absolutely delicious. The meat was so fresh, juicy and tasty. The burgers made with their homemade sauces and pickles are gorgeous. Great service, food served with love. Must try!!

Loved the food here 😋We tried the Signature beef burger and their signature chicken burger with two types of loaded fries which was topped off with different sauces and crispy chicken 😋. My favourite was their chicken burger, with every bite it was flavoursome and you can see it was well marinated and seasoned. Deffo a spot I will be going back to 😁

I really wasn't sure about this place because of the name choices, so decided to go for a standard burger, I got the angus beef with turkey bacon, I really enjoyed my it! As for the loaded chips I wasn't too impressed I was expecting something a little more put together however it looked messy and had only a few cut up pieces of fried chicken strips, the chips alone were nice, crispy and huge! However I wouldn't bother with the loaded chips. Will be trying the wagyu burger next!

Let’s just assume the food came somewhat warm, it didn’t, but we move. The chicken burger it’s self was 60% breadcrumbs, and even that was burned. And I got two, so it wasn’t a case of one just got burned by accident. Not to mention the burger itself was drier than the Sahara desert. I’d have paid money to not have my dinner ruined by this food.  Bougie burgers? There’s nothing ‘bougie’ about it, should have just gone to my local pfc and got a chicken burger with cheese instead.

So bad man. Can’t get the burnt taste out my mouth!

Efes Restaurant (Whitechapel)

This restaurant is amazing, the staff were really friendly and welcoming, the interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and feels very comfortable inside. We ordered the Special mix Grill which is enough for 4 people. I was in a group of 3 and there was plenty to eat. The food was nicely cooked and the taste was delicious. Prices are fair and I would 100% recommend Efes 👍🏼

Lovely Turkish place with clean environment and great food.

Price is about £30 per person.
We ordered a bit too much, highly recommend the sharing platter.

A work colleague recommended that we visit Efes, and it was a decision we did not regret. The place was clean and inviting. The starters were fresh, and the food was great. The cocktails were brilliant. I will definitely visit again. The only downside is that I wish the waitresses and host wouldn't stand in a line/ row at the bar/ grill. My friends and I felt a little pressured to finish the food and leave. Maybe a better seating would have helped, but besides that, all was well.
