It's a really nice place for kebab and stuff. Went with family and had  a couple of their platters. The meat was tender and nicely done. The food was delicious. Highly recommended if you like meat. I'd go back there again and again.

Been coming to this chain for years and was very happy when they opened this branch in Walthamstow. It is as excellent as the other ones (Green Lanes and North Circ.) and the standard has not dropped over the years as sometimes happens. The menu is extensive, the meat is juicy and flavoursome, the portions are generous. It's a large restaurant so we have always got a table even without booking but despite that the service is always really good. They have lots of attentive staff so you are never waiting around. We have 2 kids and it's perfect - they enjoy the food, it's a relaxed atmosphere and there is a small playpark outside which is a plus.

Delicious food every time we have dinner here, always very fresh and tasty.

Staff always so lovely especially with children.

Very neat and tidy and clean, the food is so good I felt like I was in Istanbul again!
We had lahmajoun (comes with salad) and burgul, both 10/10 and everyone that works at the restaurant was helpful and nice.

You Me Sushi

I ordered the Japanese fried chicken bowl at You Me Sushi, and Adil made the whole experience so comfortable and positive. He was extremely patient with me while I was ordering, explained things clearly, and never once made me feel rushed or nervous. His calm, friendly manner really stood out and made me feel at ease, which I genuinely appreciated. The food was great, but Adil’s kindness and professionalism are what really made the visit memorable.

I had a great experience at You Me Sushi. I ordered a salmon poke bowl with extra vegetables and a miso soup, and the service was impeccable thanks to Adil. He gave me genuinely helpful advice about the gym and also talked me through how choosing certain options on the menu can support a healthier lifestyle and help with building the physique I’m working towards. It felt like a natural, motivating conversation rather than just ordering food. I really appreciated the care and knowledge — I’ll definitely be coming back

I went into You Me Sushi and ordered a salmon poke bowl along with a miso soup. Everything came out quickly and tasted fresh. It was just a smooth, pleasant visit overall and exactly the kind of experience you hope for when grabbing food.

I visited You Me Sushi and ordered a grilled salmon bowl, avocado maki, and vegetable gyoza, with a green tea. Adil served me and made the whole experience feel really comfortable from the start. When I asked about whether the food was halal, he answered my questions with kindness and reassurance, which instantly made me feel less nervous. He was genuinely relatable and so easy to talk to — much more approachable than in many other shops — and that made a big difference. The service felt natural and welcoming,

i have ordered from this place many of times yet they have never failed so miserably. Ordering from deliveroo i received the wrong items (missing chicken katsu curry noodles and teriyaki chicken noodles) yet i received these monstrosities that you wouldn’t even feed to your dog or your worst enemy; it was stale, cold, ill prepared, lacking any sauce and it was just utter dreadful.

We have recently improved our processes to remove mirin (alcohol) from our preparation process. All our chicken tempura is halal but our chicken gyoza is not halal.

It’s rare to find a nice, inviting cafe that does a halal full english (I’m really NOT a fan of local greasy cafes that pile a load of oily chips on with a huge tasteless breakfast 🙄) so when we heard Querky Cafe was halal we just had to visit! Of course, we ordered the Full English (a smaller version with one of everything rather than two). It was as yummy as a homemade breakfast, especially the button mushrooms! We also ordered the French Toast, but after trying that at Christopher’s and Half Cup it just seemed a little average. Nonetheless, we would definitely return to try the pancakes and avacado on toast!

We are currently working our way through the vegan options and have not been disappointed! The lemon and mint mocktail is highly recommend as is the cinnamon swirl vegan option with a perfectly crafted coffee, made to perfection.

The food here was not great at all, as a group we had a desi breakfast, chicken quesadilla, french toast and egg roll. The only thing that was good was the chicken quesadilla. The egg was bland and I’ve had better chickpea curry and butter chicken elsewhere. The service and staff though were really nice and friendly even the cooks were very hospitable. The atmosphere was very warm and on a rainy day like when we came it was definitely a nice change of environment.

Today I went for breakfast at this café with my family (we were four people).

I ordered avocado on toast with scrambled eggs. After eating, I noticed that the bread had visible mold on the back. It was honestly disgusting and completely ruined the experience.

The staff offered a refund for my dish only. Unfortunately, we didn’t check the bread served with the other meals (Full English breakfasts), which makes me worry about the overall food quality.

Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo as I noticed the mold only at the end, and I was too shocked in that moment and I went straight to the staff.

It’s not my first time eating there and I can admit that the service wasn’t great previously.. however, my last 2 visits were absolutely different, I even spoke with the manager who served me and they definitely improved it. The food is great, affordable and tasty. Goo£ coffee and lovely staff. Plus they accept cash! Thank you and I will see you very soon again!

My go-to order is the rice box, and it never disappoints! The chicken is always tender and extra saucy—just the way I like it. The staff at the front are friendly and really take care of their customers. My food took about 10 minutes, but it was definitely worth the wait. Overall, I had a great experience!

The chicken is tender and perfectly flame-grilled, and that spicy rice has so much flavour. Generous portions and quick, friendly service too. Last weekend I went to Pepe's with my friends. I highly recommend this place. The food is delicious and Halal as well. I tried their famous chicken and rice with peri peri fries. The place is clean, has a good vibe and it is budget friendly. A perfect place to eat with family and friends.

I eat here regularly, and the food is always amazing. The quality is consistently great, and the staff are friendly and welcoming every time. I can never get over their garlic sauce — it’s seriously the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

This place is always the best. They serve the best gourmet beef burger! I appreciate the staff member who recommended that I order through their app; it makes the process so easy. Compared to other restaurants, this place is very affordable while still offering great value and generous portions.

I popped down to my old neck of the woods to check out a new branch of @oodles_chinese it is located in Bakers Arms (on the border of Leyton and Walthamstow) a fully halal fast casual indo Chinese restaurant with value for money prices £6 to £7.50 for different size boxes. Portions are big and you can pick combinations of rice, noodles, chips and more. ⁣

I definitely recommend checking out the Chinese fried wings (I didn't have the schwezwan as previously mentioned) , they were so good. ⁣

This is honestly so good! I went with my husband and we both really enjoyed it. The food box was full of flavour and cooked perfectly! I was served by Mohammed and it was 10/10 customer service as well as food! I ordered a large salt and pepper chicken, Malaysian chicken spicy chips and udon noodles it did not disappoint, just so tasty and satisfying! My compliments to the chef 👌 Everything was fresh and delicious, definitely a solid meal. We’ll 100% be going back again soon! 🍜

Best place for noodles lover and if you are craving korean-asian fusion then you will definitely love this place.
For me it’s 10/10 quantity and quality is very high.

My first visit to this steakhouse with my friend. Beautiful atmosphere and decor, I was even tempted to ask for the monkey teddy bear lol. Service is great, they are very patient. Food was on point, great menu also. Excellent presentation and trust me it's plentiful and hot when served still heard my chicken wings sizzling, great portion size for the price. Definitely value 👌 💯

The lady taking our order looked fed up and rude. She didn't ask the spice level of the chicken so I had to go back to tell her. Also we had to get up for more plates and cutlery. I couldn't taste the lemon and herb so found it very plain. The rest of the food was standard. They advertised a QR code for discount but was told it doesn't work. You would think they would apply the discount on the bill. I definitely won't be going back. Customer service needs to improve and food is overpriced and nothing special.

My family and I visited Jungle Braai last Saturday on a whim after changing our original plans. Despite not having a reservation, the staff were incredibly accommodating and seated us quickly. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We had a fantastic evening with a great atmosphere—highly recommended!"

Don't buy from here the portion size is so small for the price,I bought stake for £19.49 it's smaller then kids portion and half of it was fat.i was so disappointed because I used come to this restaurant so much previously I portions was good.

Went today, it was fantastic. Food was delicious and portion sizes were very generous. We had the chicken platter, everything was cooked well and full of flavour. The restaurant is decorated nicely and is very clean. The service was fantastic and the gentleman that served us was extremely helpful, friendly, polite and professional. Food: We usually order the Butter Chicken but this time we went for the Bhuna Gosh and we didn’t regret it! Succulent meat and lovely onion gravy 🤤. As usual, the lamb chops were cooked in amazing spices and the naan was delicious. We also ordered a lassi jug; a must whenever it’s on the menu!

So for Eid my mum didn't feel like cooking and wanted to go out somewhere local to Leyton, so I thought why not pop over to @saffronkitchen . It's been about 3 years since I've been. This place is popular and always seems busy. Despite opening at 5pm on Eid we arrived at 5.30 to find it busy. I can see the appeal, good parking, no other options around, decent service and nice venue. The menu as some appeal, with sugar loaded mocktails and desserts being popular items for many. .

The food is my main area of review. The majority of what I ordered was just not very good in my opinion. With it being Eid we went a bit lamb heavy, lamb curry, roast lamb (mine, in bg), lamb shank and meat biryani. The only good thing was the Chaat and the lamb shank (pictured closest) 
I got the roast lamb off the "fusion" menu, for £16 I got poorly cooked slices of roasted lamb covered in a pre made sauce. My brother got the lamb shank, that wasn't too bad from the little taste I had, it was tender and cooked well as it fell of the bone with minimal effort. The curry had a similar base to the sauce of the roast lamb and the Dum Biryani was just awful.

I'm left straching my head to why I just paid nearly £70 for this utter mediocrity, when I could of got much better food elsewhere for less .

If you like this place is the popularity due to the fact that there's no other competition nearby? Because based off what ate the food can't be the attraction. We also wanted to take the food away as we don't like waste but our waitress accidently threw it away..i think she did us a favour. Paid for the meal. Not an invite.

Great place with authentic dishes and a lively environment. Staff are wonderful and service is speedy. Brilliant place for families and good value. There are only a handful of really good proper authentic restaurants like this in London and this is one of them.

It’s extremely popular so booking recommended, sometimes have to queue anyway but only for a short while once they’ve opened and got everyone settled.

Plenty of parking nearby and easy to get to by car, train or bus.

We went for a work dinner, there were 10 of us. My colleague booked a reservation about a week in advance and due to the amount of people we had we were able to reserve a side booth which was quite comfortable and discreet, it was a bit away from the main seating area meaning that it was more private, you couldn't hear much of the noise from the other guests and overall it was a great setting.

We ended up getting a lot of dishes to share and had some food left over, the bill came to £33 per person which for the quality of the food and environment was amazing. I was fully expecting to pay £40-£50 at the end of that night.

Food was quick and delicious, they have a lot of delicious Vegetarian options as well scrumptious Meat options.

We ended up spending about 2 hours there and we're fully satisfied with the food and service.

Would definitely recommend. On of my colleagues even asked whether they could deliver and the food was just that amazing. Definitely will come again.

Really good food. Delicious many flavours. Service is top with the waiters always coming over making sure you’re good and removing used plates and providing napkins and wet wipes.

Last night I headed to Saffron Kitchen in Leyton with my son for a late dinner. We arrived around 9pm, and although the restaurant was busy, there were still a few tables free. I specifically asked to sit near the front, as from experience, sitting towards the back often means leaving with clothes that smell heavily of curry, which isn’t ideal after a night out.

We started with a jug of mango lassi, which is always a reliable favourite here. Sweet, creamy and refreshing, it was just the thing to settle into the evening.

For starters, we chose the smoked lamb ribs and the masala fries. The ribs were excellent, with a decent amount of meat, cooked until tender and packed with flavour. The masala fries were also a highlight, crispy yet juicy and coated with just the right amount of spice. At this point, things were looking promising.

Sadly, the mains didn’t live up to expectations. The butter chicken, once one of my go-to dishes here, felt noticeably different. It lacked the rich, creamy depth it used to have, and the flavour just wasn’t the same. The Dum Ka Gosht carried a pleasant charcoal note but again, it didn’t deliver the same punch as before. On the side, the garlic naan was soft, buttery and very enjoyable, while the pilau rice was fine but fairly ordinary.

Overall, it was a mixed experience. The starters were delicious, but the mains left me disappointed. It feels as though something has changed, perhaps a different chef or a shift in recipes, and the dishes no longer carry the same standard that once made this place a favourite.

Final thoughts: While Saffron Kitchen still has its strengths, particularly with drinks and starters, the mains didn’t hit the mark this time. I left wondering if it was simply an off night or whether the food has permanently changed.

Excellent food, very friendly staff amazing atmosphere top notch if you have never been before you are missing out definitely, a must for a restaurant for Indian cuisine unbelievable chefs

KFC Leyton - Lea Bridge Road

Absolutely disgusting service by Harika. I went to the drive thru an hour before they close when I stopped at the window- she screamed “ONLY WINGS AND CHICKEN” to which I asked oh you only have certain items at this time? I’m assuming they were cleaning up and trying to get out quickly. So my guests didn’t get food as they wanted burgers. When I got to the till she was so rude, not a single thankyou or please. I was shocked to see who they have working and how negatively shes portraying this branch. 7 years I’ve never had this issue at Lea Bridge rd. management your staffs attitude out it’s not a good look for such a big brand.

Drive thru, whoever taking orders firstly, listen properly what customer is asking, almost all staff working they just rushing they don’t listen, secondly, when giving the food, the staff keep
Rushing or they make faces that they are tired, and always something missing in the order. Now I have a habit when I get the order i opened and check, when I do that they get annoyed, so something was again missing.
If not then drink missing then when came back they asked for receipt which normally I pay through Apple Pay and it’s annoying and it seems like customer are liars.
Manager needs to train their staff to stop rushing and not to make customers uncomfortable.

I had a great experience at KFC on Lea Bridge Road today. Khan was incredibly friendly, polite, and provided excellent service from start to finish. He made sure my order was perfect and served everything fresh and hot with a smile. It’s always nice to be treated with such professionalism and kindness. Food was hot and delicious.
I noticed during my visit last week that a driver came to collect food without a delivery bag, The staff on duty did not give it to him, he said, this is against their rules, because this way there is a chance of the food getting cold. Then that driver gave a thread, he will give bad Google reviews to all the drivers he knows. It was a very bad incident, that day.

I have order 2 time box meal. But one box the only got 1 pc chicken wing.(should have 2 )   And without the tissue and sauce    Amazing it is happens on the kfc

KFC only buys high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, and this will not change.

Honestly the best experience I've had in Nandos until this date!!
Don't often write reviews but I had to with this customer service.
Aadil took care of us and organised Birthday cake and song which made our evening so special.
I also loved the way I was served at the till. Big shout out to the chef for amazing food and preparing food promptly, overall watching everyone on shift that afternoon made me think how amazing it is to have such a wonderful and dedicated team. Thank you to you all, it was busy this Sunday but you guys are honestly amazing!!.

Recently visited Nando’s in Walthamstow and was not disappointed.  We were on a visit to London, and decided to go here. The food and service were absolutely fantastic.

Vivi, who greeted us at the entrance, was so attentive and helpful during service. The food itself was brilliant. So much better than other Nando’s locations, something which a few restaurants could learn from.

We also tried a few new food items which we usually wouldn’t order, and they were excellent too! Hopefully we get the chance to come back again soon.

We had a lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The place was tidy and the staff were friendly and attentive especially Jacob ! The food was tasty and price is good too. We will be dining there again.

Now don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love a Nando’s. But Walthamstow Nando’s? never coming back. It’s definitely a one time visit thing.

first of all, the neglect. The tables are left with crumbs and dirt all over. I had to wipe down my chair in front of my server and they offered no help or anything - simply watched me wipe down a disgusting chair. not to mention the dead flies (and alive ones) on the windowsill. weird stains on the floors and chipped tables definitely add to the neglect.

secondly: the atmosphere. This is the worst Nando’s atmosphere ever, just loud chaotic and feels way too bright and open. children screaming from all angles and it definitely takes away from the traditional feel it’s meant to have. once again: I love Nando’s usually but this is so bad I have to say this.

Third: the service. Service was okay, just a bit slow and rushed - not to mention the chaos. however this is explained by a Sunday rush so it’s understandable.

The women’s toilets are disgusted and desperately need to be fixed. toilets with no working locks and toilet paper everywhere? this tells me everything i need to know!

However on a partially positive note the food was quite nice. it’s the same as all nando’s and nothing stuck out as amazing or special. Plus their amazing help with allergens are great.

bottom line is that if you want to go to a nando’s go anywhere but Walthamstow. its disgusting.

Yeah wow. Ok so admittedly we did have a bit of a wait for the coffee but it was so so worth it. The menu was exciting, the venue was out of this world and so was every single item on both plates. I write a few reviews but this place was honestly great. Please go and spend a few minutes elevating your life and feeling more important than you really are

The staff is lovely and the warm table area made me feel like I’m on a cozy living room. They were really helpful with alternatives for my english breakfast since I’m picky and don’t like to eat beans. I’ll definitely become a repeater here.

If you’re on the hunt for an unforgettable breakfast/brunch experience, and you wanna see Waitress , barista and kitchen work like a Swiss watch . Café Rodi is what you need . The portions and the taste of the food are perfect and absolutely out of this world, the prices? Fantastically reasonable!
Even when the café is buzzing, the service is lightning-fast, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. They go above and beyond, making sure every detail is perfect before the food even hits your table.

Rodi Caffee in London is such a great and lovely spot! The burger is absolutely amazing the meat is tender and flavorful, perfectly paired with the melted cheese. The seasoned fries are crispy and delicious, especially with the dipping sauces. The atmosphere is cozy and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to! 🍔👌🏼

Tucked away just off Blackhorse Road station, Walthamstow, this café is a real hidden gem. The moment you walk in you’re greeted with a beautiful vintage-inspired interior – sophisticated yet warm, making it the perfect spot whether you’re here for a meeting, working on a project, getting lost in a book, or just catching up with friends. I cannot recommend both the atmosphere and the food enough. It even has a beautiful garden area, which is perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of London life.

The noodle chicken chow mein had some crazy spicy that left a strange tingling sensation on my lips and tongue. .

Very pleased to have found this gem! Two of us shared the chicken platter, which was perhaps the single largest bowl of food I've ever seen and would easily have fed four. Addictively hot, yet surprisingly delicate spiced; the texture of the chicken, potatoes and hand-pulled noodles were perfect. The naan bread was also excellent.

Came here based on positive reviews and an Instagram influencer. Got the chochure soup with "fiery" lamb dumplings but it wasn't spicy at all, just salty and heavily seasoned. Also ordered the Traditional leghman with lamb, which was very salty & oily. You can see the oil & how much sauce is left in the photo.

These two dishes came to £27.48 so it's not cheap as some reviewers claimed. I'll try other dishes if I come back here but I wouldn't order these two dishes again.

I want to carefully word my review as I do not want to cause any offence! Firstly I want to say the service was great and many thanks to the chef as he was able to customize the dish the way I wanted! Price was good for the area. Also the decor is beautiful and a lovely showcase of the culture and history of the Ugyhur community.
However overall we were not big fans of the food. We felt the hand pulled noodles used too much sichuan pepper and I could not enjoy any other flavours in the dish. The kung po chicken and the lamb samosa was okay. The honey cake for dessert was nice but also noted it was not made fresh. Given this is the first time we tried this cuisine, it is unclear whether this is how the general flavour profile is or our experience is specific to this dining establishment.

Slamburger Walthamstow - Halal Burgers

Absolutely loved the food here – everything was packed with flavour, especially the burgers which were juicy and cooked perfectly. The loaded fries were amazing, cheesy and full of toppings, exactly how it should be! The portions are very generous, and you definitely get value for money.

Service was really friendly and quick, and the staff made sure everything was right with our order. The place had a nice vibe too, perfect for enjoying a proper burger meal.

Out of all the halal burger spots I’ve tried, this one is up there as one of the best. I’ll definitely be coming back again for another round. Highly recommend to anyone looking for tasty halal burgers in Walthamstow.

I am regular customer of the Slam burger but today , I am upset with the behaviour of person on till he is rude and he didn’t give NHS discount and he straight away said to me you can show me your card but I will not give you discount , his tone was quite Rude and I don’t feel much comfortable 1st time as I am regular customer of Slam burger but today it’s not nice . Management should take action on it , as customer service should be 1st priority . Discount is on side but rude behaviour is not tolerable .

Slamburger is actually like McDonald’s!. The taste is the same. We usually have the kids meals and double burger meals. The only thing I would say is a down side, is that the meals are cold when they arrive (Uber) and not a big portion for children, even though children don’t always eat loads!.

Such comfort food honestly. I love getting their orange sesame chicken and their dumplings they taste amazing - as with everything on their menu. Have come before and will come again 100%. And it's halal too!

Me and my sister went today and it was such a lovely moment on a relaxing Sunday afternoon. For lunch, I had ordered Chow mein noodles with chicken, Coconut and Pineapple crush smoothie while my sister ordered the Korean Chips and Crispy beef for her main, for starters we both had the vegetable spring rolls. My sister definitely loved the crispy beef main as it was batteree beef strips that were crispy and light and full of flavour. The Korean chips were good too. My favourite was the Coconut and Pineapple Crush smoothie as it was cold and fresh. I enjoyed the Chow mein and will probably come back to this place again. We were able to find a table and their service was excellent. Would recommend to friends and family.

Really nice place, food taste delicious, the chicken with tamarin and peanut as a starter was perfect. The vegetables, rice and sweet and sour chicken was delicious but my favourite one was the orange and sesame chicke. It tasted like an ice cream we have in Venezuela the crema real! So if any venezolano is reading this you don't miss this dish. We will come back

Taste as good as nandos and cheaper, the food is amazing. The service is great and not loud or busy. It’s clean , it’s a hidden gem.

Overall a positive experience with the family.  The food took slightly longer to arrive than anticipated but the enjoyment of the meals made up for it.
The food which comprised of chicken wings & fries, chicken tikka burger (with sides), piri piri chicken burger (with sides), grilled fish burger with sides & a lamb kebab wrap was well devoured. If you love fish with a strong fishy taste, you’ll enjoy the fish burger, otherwise I would say, remain with the safe meat options.
Desserts of Oreo and Ferero roche cookie dough ended the experience for us on a high. Well worth a visit.

I went there today 24th April I'm a regular customer but the service is getting worse every time I go . Today we ordered our food and after 30 minutes we got our starters one after the other then two mains came I was hungry and started on the starters I waited an hour before my burger came and it was a disaster. It fell apart as I picked up and it tasted raw so I gave it back to be cooked again. When it came it looked even worse than before and it just all fell out as i tried to bite into that was it I just packed up and left. I won't be going there in a.hurry. also the bathroom was not a clean place so I had to ask them to go mop up before someone slipped and fell. What a rubbish experience on a Friday night. Hmmmm !!

I enjoy Franzo's food. thought I'd check out the one in Walthamstow.

Nice clean restaurant lots of space service was alright nothing too special.

It's a shame this branch is so far out from the main Walthamstow central area or would be more busy. Its in a quiet ish area.

UPDATE: I forgot to mention the chicken strips were basically just chicken breast cut up. They could have been cut in a way where it wasn't flat. Also I did order chilli cheese bites and can't lie they just tasted they were store bought from frozen and heated up which is why I gave the food rating a 3.

I couldn’t recommend this branch of Pasta Remoli enough! The pasta is delicious: fresh, great sauces and big portions.

Just discovered Pasta Remoli and wish we'd found them sooner. The cook at home ravioli was delicious. Excellent customer service from head chef Lele too, would definitely recommend.

Pasta Remoli Walthmstow is the best Italian place in the area. Head Chef Lele’s fantastic customer services and his great food keeps us going back to order family meal again and again. Thank you Lele for the amazing food, we will be back again next week for more delicious Pasta 😊.

The pasta was delicious, fresh&home made, we received huge portions and lovely service from Lele the head chef, he was amazing too,  surprised us with some canolies. Highly recommend this local restaurant!

The sausage/pork ragu is delicious - the fennel flavour my kids love I can't quite replicate despite a number of attempts so I go back again and again on their demand! Head chef Lele deserves special thanks for customer service.

We are halal friendly and all the dishes are halal, except for the pork off course.

I had visited My Shish - Woodford yesterday with a friend to celebrate both of our birthdays. Originally, we had booked for a table upstairs but because the weather wasn’t great we requested for one downstairs. The manager and employees were nice and accommodating and the manager himself said we can still go upstairs later to take photos. As part of a surprise for my friend, I ordered a surprise cheesecake with sparklers on the booking and they were able to deliver this service really well. Also, my friend wanted to surprise me with the same thing so they gave an extra one on the house which was really kind, allowing us to celebrate our birthdays together. In terms of our meal, we both got the same thing which was the lamb chops with rice and a pina colada. The food tasted great and we really enjoyed our experience. After, when going upstairs to take our photos, the staff kindly carried our dessert plates up for us so we could enjoy it upstairs. Everything at the restaurant was accommodating, spacious and the service was really good. Definitely will come back again.

Gotta say I was very impressed with the service and quality of the food here today. Shah on the door told us they were actually getting ready for a private event but they very kindly seated our table of 7 anyway! Our children were delighted by the friendly approach to them and their playtime, and the quality of the Adana and chicken shish really blew us away. Everything is freshly made in house, even the bread, which was excellent. A great lunch out!

I recently visited My Shish Woodford and had an amazing experience! The food was incredible — especially the Smash Tacos, Wagyu Burger, and Mix Grill Sizzler. The mocktails were refreshing, and the shisha was smooth and relaxing. The atmosphere was elegant yet cosy, with great service throughout. Definitely one of the best Mediterranean lounges in the area — can’t wait to visit again!

We had a very disappointing dining experience. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and waited at the entrance, ringing the reception bell multiple times with no response. Eventually, we walked upstairs only to be greeted in a very unprofessional manner.
It took the waiter nearly 15 minutes just to take our order, and we had to repeat it three times before it was correctly entered. Starters arrived after 30 minutes, and the main course took over an hour to be served. Drinks only came when we requested the bill.
The food was equally underwhelming — starters were average at best, and the mains were below par with stale buns and overcooked beef patties. No condiments or even water were provided.
The only positive aspect was the parking and overall ambiance. We had planned to stay for dinner and shisha, but the poor service and disappointing meal completely ruined the evening.
A total waste of time and money — would not recommend.

Rhythm Kitchen catered for my wedding this summer (August 2025) and boy did they deliver! Del is the most calming person to work with in the midst of wedding frenzy planning, a real can do attitude and commitment to getting it right. On the day I didn't have to think of anything as the RK team was on point and beautifully friendly and professional. The food was served and the party could really start. I received only positive comments about the food, the generous servings and super professional staff. The Jamaican 'buffet' was tasty and authentic, servings were plentiful. My favourite was the escovitch fish and plantain.

In the evening we had the jerk pan out in the yard and this was the best vibe ever serving chicken and hardo bread for the evening guests and late night eating.

Thank you Rhythm Kitchen Family. I would highly recommend for your event, wedding or party.

The food is limited if you have allergens. The staff kept forgetting to bring out dishes just overall didn’t feel like this was a great experience. The oil for the chips and plantain is the same that why use for fish which isn’t great either.

I had a really great time at this establishment.
& as always I’ll give an honest review.

Context: My friend was holding her wedding party get together in the establishment. We were a group of (roughly) 33 people. There was one table left for general public to sit and wait for their orders but we took over a majority of the space.

Service: The staff were really friendly and made sure that we had our food served nice and hot. Being that we were a large group they gave us notice that our food would come out in waves and that we should tuck right in and not wait for all the dishes to come out. It’s a small kitchen so it couldn’t hold all the food until ready to go. This was appreciated as we all preferred to have it hot and ready and would rather not wait.

Drinks - Although it took some time for the drinks to come they were a nice blend. Again it’s understandable that it took longer than expected as they were serving our group as one and not separate tables. I ordered two mocktail sunrises- yum.

Sometimes the staff would forget whose drink or food belonged to who. However, it also didn’t help that some individuals in the group also weren’t didn’t seem sure of their own order (LOL). We worked together to make sure everyone got the right drinks and food.

Food: I ordered curried goat roti rice and pease with plantain. The food was hot ! The curried goat tasted fresh and had good amount of spice. The roti was fresh and fluffy. Good ratio of curried goat to roti bread. The rice was nicely cooked and the plantain was perfectly ripe and cooked to perfection. Great portion size and worth every penny. I wasn’t able to finish so they provided containers to take home.

A few people the ordered the mango wings. I didn’t taste them but they smelt amazing. One person bit into the wing and it seemed to be red however the staff assured her that this sometimes happens due to the way the wings are cut. No one else had an issue with their wings. Being that the rest of the wings were fine, and the mains was on the way, the staff packed additional wings to go as a good will gesture.

My friends ordered the salmon. They were very happy with the cut as it was nice and thick. Cutting into the salmon , it was perfectly cooked - not too dry and not too pink. My friends have different pallets: One friend said hers was seasoned perfectly and the other felt like it was on the salter side.

Overall we all had a good experience and the staff managed our group very well. Although the space was packed , they allowed us to play a short game (questionnaire) and some of the general public that came in also had a laugh.
Sorting the bill was quick and easy we all split the bill. (£5 deposit + £28 p/p) and we had to thank the staff and the chef for their great service.

I’d definitely be returning.

Anyone reading should swing by too. The food and service didn’t disappoint.

Parking: There is free parking in the area after 6:30pm. I parked at 6pm on the road opposite the restaurant and hoped for the best. I didn’t get a ticket but again parking warded can appear like genies-  so be mindful.

Rhythm Kitchen in Walthamstow was an absolute blast! We got invited there, and it was an amazing ride of flavours and good times.

First up, we dug into the Plantain Fritters and Coconut Peppered Prawns. Yeah, the prawns were a bit messy, but who cares when they taste that good? We couldn't get enough of those spicy, coconut-infused prawns. They were seriously on point.

Now, let's talk mains. We had the Braised Oxtail with rice and peas and some coleslaw, and let me warn you, it was hot! But damn, it was tasty. The oxtail was falling-off-the-bone tender, and the flavours were intense. And hold on tight, 'cause the Jerk Lamb Chops came in swinging. They were full-on jerk-flavoured perfection, with jerk chips and fried plantain to match. That combo was straight-up addictive.

Of course, we needed some drinks to cool down the heat. The New Tropical Sizzler was a fruity explosion in a glass, and the Rum Runner hit the spot with its boozy goodness. They definitely added to the whole Caribbean vibe.

Overall, Rhythm Kitchen was a freaking blast. The food was mind-blowing, the drinks were top-notch, and the vibes were off the charts. We can't thank them enough for inviting us and giving us an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a good time and some seriously tasty Caribbean eats, you gotta hit up Rhythm Kitchen in Walthamstow. Trust me, it's amazing!

We had visited the other Band of Burger branches before and didn’t particularly enjoy them, but this branch is completely different!

I know it’s a pretty big statement, but this place might just be our favourite burger joint! Honeslty, the burgers are on another level. Naimul ordered the Wagyu This Way, which consisted of moreish wagyu beef topped with gorgonzola dolce and truffle honey bacon 🤤 I asked for The Mexican- but this wasn’t your average mexican! It included chilli raclette cheese and a spicy tomato relish, and the guacamole was so good 😍 Naimul has had mexican style burgers before and hasn’t enjoyed them so he was reluctant to try it, but he didn’t regret it at all! The Onion Rings and Chilli Con Carne chips were mouth-watering, and it was so refreshing to eat dirty fries that weren’t just smothered in cheese.

Over the weekend I went to check out @bandofburgersuk with their new location in Walthamstow, which was the former home to Brioche Burger one of the ex-elites in the game. Fair to say that Band of Burgers have picked up the Baton and are keeping the bar high.⁣

I checked out the new lanuch menu, featuring a selection of starters and burgers. First of all, a note has to be made with the quality of ingredients on offer. Beef used in burgers Is 35 days aged grass fed Angus and Aged Wagyu as well. Only Organic produce are used, no processed cheese here, they use fancy cheeses from Brough market working with Jumi cheese. ⁣

Unlike the other locations of band of burgers, this restaurant uses a flat grill to cook their burgers and if you have read my best London in burger blog post, you know that's the only type of burger I'm interested in. It makes for a juicier, fatter and tastier experience. ⁣

I had pretty much tried all of the burgers on offer, my favourite were the big cheese and the Mexican. Great flavours, that melted fat taste that I love, soft sweet bun, a all round good burger. ⁣

I recently tried the Big Cheese burger with extra turkey bacon at Band of Burgers Walthamstow, and I have to say—it was absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy, the flavours were on point, and the turkey bacon made it even better. The fries and drink completed the meal perfectly.

The staff were also very friendly and cooperative, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

I definitely recommend visiting this place and trying their burgers!

Ordered today. Same quick service few changes though not necessarily for the better-

The fries are listed as home made, whilst they are crispy they are not home made or home cut fries- all uniform in size and clearly out of a packet. Tasted nice enough.

What the kids really loved about Band of Burger was the chicken burgers-succulent and outrageously crispy at the same time. This time they weren't crispy and we're a little dry in the middle of the burger.

Nice enough but deffo a step down from the previous high bar they set.

Epic Feasting from @makgrillz. Steak, burgers and dirty fries! All food halal and no alcohol present. 👏 Nice to see a restaurant improve in their flavours, went I first went when it opened the food wasn't great, but it's definitely got better since then.
