Went on a weekday just before the lunch rush hours (before 12pm), so wasn't too busy. It did get busy after that though. 😅 Just saying for those that want to avoid as many humans as possible. 🤪 Anyways, was served quickly and everything came within 10-15 minutes. Ordered Chicken Strips (Hot), Plain Fries, Mix Salad and Ferrero Rocher shake.

Chicken Strips were good, spicy enough. As a spice lover, I should have ordered them extra hot though. 😂 Fries were nice. Ferrero Rocher shake was yummy! 🤤 I didn't like the Mix Salad as much as the rest, felt like the dressing was a little too tangy.

10/10 customer service. I would visit again to try other menu items. 😊

It's a shame this branch is so far out from the main Walthamstow central area or would be more busy. Its in a quiet ish area.

UPDATE: I forgot to mention the chicken strips were basically just chicken breast cut up. They could have been cut in a way where it wasn't flat. Also I did order chilli cheese bites and can't lie they just tasted they were store bought from frozen and heated up which is why I gave the food rating a 3.

Popped in for a quick bite on a quiet wednesday afternoon.

As we walked up to the counter the guy behind the till (the guy with a lisp) just stood there like 🤨

My friend had to be the one to engage and say Hi how are you as it got awkward.. but all was well and we ordered our food

I went for their peri peri chicken burger (hot) with fries as my side. 🍔🍟 I've had this a few times before from the ilford branch so I had an expectation in mind..

The burger tasted good!!

A nice soft warm bun, the chicken nice and hot and saucy, flavoursome.. inside was a generous amount of mayo and some lettuce 👌

The plain chips were okay, not as good as Nandoses chips but they were fine.

The food also arrived pretty quickly, and Franzos seem to be good with timings even when they are extremely busy (Ilford  experiences)

If you have never been to a Franzos, its a must visit

In my opinion the best value for money, great tasting fully halal Nandos alternative, Franzos and Five Lads deserve to be visited more frequently.

Last night I had dinner at Walthamstow branch with family. The restaurant was nice with plenty of sitting, staff were friendly and helpful. Ordered whole zingy chicken, chicken wings, beef burger meal and couple of chicken strip meals. The was food was really tasty, fresh apart from chicken which were little on a dry side. Recommended, especially if you’re going with family. ⭐️ off for WC (need cleaning & toilet paper).

The most unprofessional, rude and arrogant management for a supposedly family restaurant. Seemed to have made many mistakes with orders and when asked they became aggressive in front of other diners. Embarrassing and lack customer service experience.

We will be making sure not to recommend this restaurant to family and friends of Walthamforest.

Unfortunately there wasn't a minus rating available. The previous reviewers seem to have the same narrative about this management. Fix up and don't embarrass yourself

We are HMC approved. This means our entire menu and supply-chain is certified Halal according to HMC standards. No traces of pork or alcohol in the store.

As food chains go this one is beautifully designed perfectly located and well staffed. On entrance we were greeted by a very enthusiastic member of staff in a very Americanised manner, over excited and loud, but and it’s a big but, she was nice and polite. We were ushered to our table and directed to use the QR code to order our food.

Now we have two points of view about this visit, my son said he would have preferred the personal touch the more human approach and did not enjoy the experience of not ordering directly to a real person. I on the other hand can kind of understand what he meant but was ok with the way I ordered the food. I scanned the QR code and ordered and paid  for the food via Apple Pay.

The food arrived quite quickly and was as ordered. My son again complained that he would have liked someone to tell him where the plates and sauces were. So in a matter of minutes we had three members of staff including the manager asks us if everything was ok. Being British it felt a bit much, but actually they were very polite.

The food was as always was consistent so chicken is chicken, not much to talk about here. The restaurant is very modern and spacious and there was a mixture of age groups and families eating in. The decor is well designed and interesting. They have plenty of space inside and outside under parasols but today it was raining and a bit cold so no one outside. It’s located in a partly pedestrianised area and parking is difficult. All in all great place professional staff and good food.

Nando’s is one of the last takeaways we go too now!. It is ridiculously expensive for what you get.
The portion sizes are a joke, I would class the take out sizes as Childrens portions, I couldn’t believe it when we got our food the rice box wasn’t even filled up!.
We didn’t even buy drinks as it was terrible prices, our bill was £50 ish for 3 people  shocking!.

On average you can spend £20 pp now we ordered a few items and I was gutted, but we had to order here as that’s what voucher we were given had we not had a voucher we wouldn’t have gone here!. Sadly I avoid Nandos, it’s not what it used to be.

This particular branch has a large outside area that's good for watching local Walthamstow life (harassed-looking mums, badly behaved children, a group of women seemingly setting themselves up to pick pockets, market stalls, middle-class dads with tote bags and baseball caps, Deliveroo riders congregating outside Five Guys).

The service was good. The food was fine, as expected.

A larger seating area than other Nandos that I have patronised and therefore the seating was very spacious 👍
Ordering the food was simple enough and the order came to our table rather quickly although there was a slight mix up with one item ordered.
Many of the Piripiri hot sauce bottles had no caps and another customer voiced her concerns about this. 😳

However we enjoyed our late lunch here 😁

Do not get served by the two Asian girls who wear a scarf as they don’t no what customer service is, been served few times and seriously they need it loose there attitude and go back to school and learn manners and customer service. The other staff (male guys) are very nice apart from the two girls, food is decent here, sometimes little undercooked or over cooked so make sure you say well done. They need to give more sauce or even have sauce tub.

Unfortunately whenever I eat in or have food delivered by this branch I always have problems.
The food itself is nice (hence the 2 stars)  - however the service and attitude of those who work there is terrible!! They get orders wrong and then insist that they are in the right - when you show them your receipt they don’t apologise and just go about their business.
Latest issue is that I’ve rang them to ask what seems to be the delay in having my food delivered and in mid-conversation the operator shuts the phone off!! Plus they got my order wrong!
Will avoid the Walthamstow branch now at all costs!

Always get your order wrong. Never answer thier phone. Its like they purposely cant be bothered to make the correct food. They take shortcuts.

They took more than an hour to prepare. When we were thinking about to cancel they told it needs 2 mins. But after that they took another 10 mins to serve. Btw taste was good. 👌

I have eaten from here many times. The food has been okay/nice/decent. However, I have a major issue with the hygiene. On several different occasions I've seen they've not changed their gloves after eating their lunch, taking payment, and dealing with non food related things. I asked them to change their gloves, and they did and apologised. I do think their hygiene needs to be better.

London top sushi place and the sushi are unique. I specially recommend getting a salmon box. Thank you Akshay for best service.

We have recently improved our processes to remove mirin (alcohol) from our preparation process. All our chicken tempura is halal but our chicken gyoza is not halal.

I tried takeaway and dine in here. The first time I decided to do takeaway was Chana Batura, and I liked it, but sorry to say I didn’t feel good after that. But of course I enjoyed it while having; can’t lie. And I decided to give give this another try, and tried eating in there which made me feel sick again and I ended up vomiting. So definitely it would be a no to me. I suspect if it’s some ingredient that’s gone wrong. You guys need to look into it. Great service though.

Their cheesy chips are to die for with two types of cheeses 🧀! I love their chicken club sandwiches 🥪 (these can be made with naan). The desi (South Asian) version of the chicken club sandwich is to die for and this is easily as good as the ones in Mumbai! Very creamy, toasted and gently spiced!

Personally, I prefer my chai too, less sweet than chaiwalla so it is perfect here! But very strong, can keep u Ip all night.

The Nutella naan 🫓 is great but don’t tell my husband I make secret 🤫 visits here….

This really is a gem and should have far more popular locally!

First time visiting. Clean and spacious seating. I would have liked to have some hummus to accompany the free starter bread too. My lamb shish tastes delicious and was flavoursome, but my juice was served at room temperature as opposed to cold. Staff were polite and attentive.

Excelente food and service. First time trying their breakfast, most say that was delicious every part of eat. I couldn't finished my plate was so full 😂 also ordered humus which is the perfect combination with the bread. Super recommend it!

Utter filth of the highest order.
If you fancy spending £7.99 for 10 chips and a Zinger that looks like it was drop kicked into its bun, then this is the place for you.
Tip for KFC. If you cant sell something that resembles the item you are advertising then dont bother.
I also waited 15 minutes for the priviledge.

Disabled spaces blocked ...WHY?!

UPDATE: Just come here again, nothings changed, motorcycles hogging the disabled bays, they've even taken over other parking spots moving bins out to stop cars parking, what does the management have to say??

Poor service, always have to go back as they miss items in the order, come on it's not rocket science,  just check order before handing over!
Advise you to double check contents of your order especially if your using drive through, before you leave as a good chance they've missed something or got it wrong!

UPDATE: tried here again, again motorcycles and electric bikes littering the car park, especially the the only two disabled spaces cramed with them, complained to manager and he said, he asked them to move two weeks ago, and they beat him up putting him in hospital!!! ....Make of it what you will!

The staff were shouting order numbers over each other so all you hear whilst you’re waiting is a screaming match. They left my drink from my order so I went back and the woman was extremely rude to me even though I explained to her politely that my drink was missing. She handed me my drink with attitude and waved her hand in the air as if she wanted me to leave. Also the chip portions are extremely small!

Best KFC i have ever visited. After renovation restuarant look really good . Restuarant is neat and clean i have seen staff doing their excellent job to make this restuarant look spotless. Staff are always looking after you, Best customer service. I got confused while placing order staff suggest me with their promotion items it was really helpful. KFC doing really good promotion. KFC seems to have a reputation for leaving out items in your order - I ordered this evening and they left out two chicken fillets. They have previously left out packets of fries and a mini wrap etc.. I'm actually starting to think their omission of items is deliberate at this point.. (not just this branch but others are guilty too) How can they all leave something out almost every time??!!! I don't go to KFC much but whenever I do it's just a disappointment.

Just discovered Pasta Remoli and wish we'd found them sooner. The cook at home ravioli was delicious. Excellent customer service from head chef Lele too, would definitely recommend.

The food, ambience and service was so uplifting. We ordered the oxtail and dumplings, plantain and salt fish fritters, and our kind waiter recommended we have more chips too! Thank goodness she did as the food was so flavourful and moreish. It was like a hug! Another lovely surprise was that we won a raffle and got a free t shirt and silky head scarf! Regardless of whether you win the raffle, the experience was a true winner.

Food was good, nice selection of rum. Good place to have an evening meal. The reason for 4 star, the waiting.

Attended for the first time yesterday and was absolutely overwhelmed by not only the incredibly speedy & friendly service, but also by the quality of food I was handed. Everything on all of our plates was completely devoured, from started to desserts! Also happy to see a lot of vegan friendly options on all aspects of the menu! Was such a good price for all the food we had and good to feel welcomed when at a restaurant. Will definitely be going back again soon and would highly recommend to all my friends and family!

First time visiting, despite it being literally on my doorstep since I moved to the area a few mths ago. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the food (sweet potato fries tasted great). My 7 year old son's asked if we can visit every week now!

The beef and chicken is Halal. Pork is served but we always prepare our Halal guests’ food separately. We provide dates and olives for anyone who wants to break their fast with us during Ramadan.

If you have taste buds then go elsewhere. This restaurant has managed to extract the flavour out of the meat and leave it in the kitchen, I'm actually considering vegetarianism. You'd probably get more flavour from a piece of cardboard covered in gold leaf. The rice was nice though.

My friend and I had a brilliant time last weekend. The venue is beautiful, with a great atmosphere. Our food was really good and came out quicker than I expected. We had a really lovely server who was very friendly and attentive, but annoyingly, I forgot to ask for her name. She checked on us regularly to make sure everything was fine and was more than happy to go out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable time. Will definitely visit again.

Some of the photography and website advertisement give a false representation of this restaurant. Nothing special, location and restaurant decor is very nice so my expectation of the quality of food were pretty high especially after glancing at the menu prices on their website, I was expecting quality steaks but I didn't quite get that. Appetiser options are poor, no wings or varieties. Their steaks are expensive yet do not come with any chips/fries. Fries are £4.99!!! My T-Bone with fries cost me £41 then add sauce and drink you are looking at £50 per person. For £60 I could eat lavishly at Sahara Grill with a second person, incl. wings and drinks. We ordered Beef Taco's and it was around £11 for 2, bland beef curry inside taco, no taste just mushy meat and dribbling sauce. Steak was salty, burnt no real special flavour. I used the Mushroom sauce which was an extra £3 as they don't provide gravy sauce. It was just too bland, they chucked few beans and few tomatoes again, disappointing. I rather they give sauce or fries instead of all that. Fries were the best in this meal, well cooked and tasted good with pepper and sauces. Also, they charge for service and we did not hang around for desserts as it was overall a disappointing experience. I am being generous with 2 stars, if I rate this out of 10 probably will be a generous 4 stars because of decor and fries.

Positive experience! Very friendly and entertaining staff! The golden baklava is a must! And the dynamite prawns were surreal...

Small improvement factor, maybe try to have subtle and soft volume of music so its not hard to hear each other when dining with friends or family!!!

For the price tag, I would expect better service. The table was not set when you get to it. My fork was uneven, one of the steaks were overcooked and the drinks are overpriced. Needs more attention to detail for this price. The atmosphere is great, love the fire show but it did get very smoky which was affecting my daughters eyes. Food & drinks (mocktail was £10) is overpriced. Waitress and waiters was inexperienced and not very friendly or smiley. Apart from the guy who did the fire, he was very enthusiastic. Not sure I would go back! Birthday celebration was really cool though.

I didn't know "French Tacos" was even a thing...anyway the spicy beef 'taco', looks more like a burrito was actually delicious. I just think the burger needs a little more salt and fat to make it more juicy, otherwise better than most. Maybe the prices could be more competitive and the desserts on the house was amazing, great service.

Good food and burgers where really good. Price wasn't too bad for what you got and staff where really friendly. Will definitely recommend this place.

Burgers are nicely cooked and juicy single patty with a side is enough if you want just a burger than get a double patty by its self its really filling and delicious the special mack burger like a big mack is a good alternative to a mcdeez big mack as this restaurant is also halal and the mack sauce was good. The loaded mack fries with lulled beef is nice the salty beef and cheese complements the fries and is a good starter or if you're quite hungry you can just get that as a side with a single burger 
We also got the chicken stripers as a starter which were really nice with the seasoning and we're quite tender not tough. And the onion rings are good each time and the spicy mayo sauce they give with it is really nice and I'm not a sauce person but its really good :)  would definitely recommend

Genuinely one of the best burgers I've had recently! Tender, juicy, succulent, really cooked to perfection. Great portion size burger and sides, good ambience, clean environment including wash area. Great service too, the sister who served us possessed great emotional intelligence thus providing a fantastic experience. If you're reading this, do not miss out!!!

Brilliant food,  everything was above average. The only thing they could improve is the chips, otherwise excellent.

Heard a lot about this place went with a couple of friends in tue evening. The place was empty when we arrived ordered our food with a very helpful waitress. The decor of the place is quite nice but lacked a bit of ambience.
Ordered assortment of different flavoured wings for starters and the only Angus meat burger on the menu. It was presented very well and tasted  the wings were just above par nothing special.

Ideally I would have loved to give it 0 stars. Went on day of opening. There was a queue outside. We waited over an hour. When we eventually got in, we saw the menu being very simple, no variety of the fusion they talked about on website. The couple who was there way before we came were still sitting there waiting for their order. Considering it was the first day, they should have been efficient and more prepared for the expectation of queues and waiting time. Very let down. We left after looking at the ill prepared menu and went straight for lunch elsewhere, even though we went there for brunch but wasted over an hour waiting. Don't think I'll go there anytime soon until they change the work ethic there. Sorry but big hype for nothing.

Fantastic clean elegant cafe. Delicious food with all types of cuisines and really well prepared.  The staff are very friendly and hospitable. Defo would recommend to everyone to visit.

Went on opening day. Absolutely beautiful decor, was really busy but staff were lovely and welcoming. Lovely setting, well defo be popping down whenever I'm visiting London.

I popped down to my old neck of the woods to check out a new branch of @oodles_chinese it is located in Bakers Arms (on the border of Leyton and Walthamstow) a fully halal fast casual indo Chinese restaurant with value for money prices £6 to £7.50 for different size boxes. Portions are big and you can pick combinations of rice, noodles, chips and more. ⁣

I definitely recommend checking out the Chinese fried wings (I didn't have the schwezwan as previously mentioned) , they were so good. ⁣

You can pick your own toppings or pick a pre selected one. Pictured are the beef noodles, crispy prawns and crispy chicken. ⁣

Our favourite was the Spicy Chicken; the sauce has a delicious kick to it 🤤 Each wrap is filled with succulent, crunchy chicken and salad, it’s own special sauce and extra toppings depending on the flavour. It’s a mouth-watering alternative to a burger when you are trying to be a little more (somewhat 😂) healthy. Definitely no compromise on the flavour though and will be reordering this when it’s out!

They will be available at the Ilford branch from tomorrow so head down there to get your chicken wraps! 🌯

Well well. Looks what's opened down the road from where I live! @bims_uk have launched a new bigger and better branch. Long time followers will recall of the hype that ensued when I first posted bims 2 years ago.⁣

Great news that they have grown and opened in a what's now becoming a great location for halal food Ilford Lane. The exact location is 367 Ilford Lane. Hopefully no long queues. There's space for around 18 people inside. They plan slowly roll out more items as time passes.⁣

So if you need that classic Mcdonalds fix and don't want to travel to Turkey or Marakesh head down to East London (where all the best halal food is at)

Absolutely disappointed.. bought a double beef fumey burger large meal about 6£ +added 1£ extra patty off beef which was ready about 2 min..after I looked in the burger Was cold and MISSING EXTRA PATTY OF BEEF. I don't think they cooked that they use the precooked order and give to me, also fries was completely dry and not taste at all. I bring the food to them and ask for refund for my money and didn't want to eat that food, and the one of the workers told me  they can't do that.. Discounting service and food!!!DO NOT RECOMMEND THERE WASTE OF MONEY AND NERVES..

Can someone from BIMs please engage with the residents of Walthamstow that cannot cope with your rubbish being left on our streets. We are reasonable people and happy to meet and discuss sensible solutions however what is happening now is not sustainable. Just imagine if the outside of your house looked like this every day. Very quick service. The beef burger was nice but the beef patties are way too thin - You'll need to get the double or triple burger to be satisfied. The Apple pie is nice. Overall, I would recommend.

I walked in at 22:54, 6 minutes before they close, another guy walked in 2 seconds before me who proceeded to order his food while I was told that they are closing and I'm too late. The guy who walked in with me got served but I was not, that is unfair, we both walked in the same time and I got told I'm too late. Why has Google said you close at 23:00 yet I was refused service at 22:54?? I travelled all the way from high Wycombe, a waste of fuel and time.

Pretty good burger joint at the bottom of Walthomstow high street. I had their version of a big mac which was good although I would definitely double up tha patties next time. There isn't much room inside and only 2 tables so don't necessarily go in there with the expectation of being able to sit and eat. Overall it's worth a visit if you're in the area.

It’s rare to find a nice, inviting cafe that does a halal full english (I’m really NOT a fan of local greasy cafes that pile a load of oily chips on with a huge tasteless breakfast 🙄) so when we heard Querky Cafe was halal we just had to visit! Of course, we ordered the Full English (a smaller version with one of everything rather than two). It was as yummy as a homemade breakfast, especially the button mushrooms! We also ordered the French Toast, but after trying that at Christopher’s and Half Cup it just seemed a little average. Nonetheless, we would definitely return to try the pancakes and avacado on toast!

Querky Cafe

A lovely small cafe next to forest gate station. I’ve been there a few times and really enjoyed the breakfast. Although sometimes I do feel that the food should be a bit warmer. Other than that, it has a lot of variety and tastes good!

Highly highly recommend this place. Went there today with some colleagues and we ordered a variety of things. The menu is large and varied and the prices are fair, not cheap but not expensive either. Only issue was that some of the food came slightly late and the coffees were late but that wasn't a huge deal. Would definitely go again. Service was excellent.

Querky cafe food is very much enjoyable and doesn't leave the stomach disappointed. Staff are super friendly and helpful, service is on point too. Overall I'm happy with this place and would definitely come back here again.

A relaxing comfortable atmosphere. The breakfasts are good and so is the service. The price is also reasonable.

Cafe RODI

Really lovely Art Deco cafe serving a twist on Italian food. A must try are the Americano fries. Not very Italian, but delicious non the less. Pizzas are amazing. Great vegan options too

Lovely cafe , staff is very friendly and the food is good, good selection of vegetarian plates too.

The cafe has recently been renovated by new management I think, and from Jan 2020 they do dinner as well as weekend brunch. Really nice and comfortable inside and their brunch menu is already good, and they say they're adding more things over time!
Friendly staff who were nice and polite and asked us for honest feedback after, got the feeling they genuinely cared and wanted to keep improving.
Food delicious, no better way to start the weekend. 
Will be going back for sure 5 stars!

Serlion Steak from @lost_asia In Bakers Arms, Leyton. 
Menu consists of grilled steaks, burgers and curries. 
I asked for medium rare, and got a very thin medium cooked peice of meat. It was very rubbery and hard to cut. I wasn't impressed with the standard of this steak, it lacked taste and didn't appear to have been marinated with any identifiable flavour. It came with brown sauce on the side as my request along with a very large portion of steak cut chips. 
On the plus side I got a 50% discount using a #tastecard which made it taste better at least. It definitely wasn't worth the £14.99

Lost Asia Grill Restaurant and Lounge

Food was very much average taste wise but was presented nicely. What you see here is their chicken steak strips meal with masala chips swapped out for normal steak cut chips. Unfortunately, there was no lamb when I went so that was a shame. My friend had chicken steak with mushroom sauce and chips and that was again very middle of the road, needing salt to be added. That being said, they enjoyed it once it was added. The mocktails (candy crush and raging bull) were really good though. 

I'm guessing due to the gov eat out deal there were a lot more customers than the restaurant thought there might be and so there were limited staff. This meant orders for a lot of people took ages to arrive, a good 40 minutes after being taken by the wait staff. I was told by my friend who's been here before that the service time and food taste has been much better in previous occasions that they've dined here so that's something to consider. The wait staff were also very professional and friendly too. And my other was half price for two people so that was appreciated!

Friendly staff and good service. Food tastes good. Noddles platter was expensive cos portions was quite small and taste is ok not as good as their special platter which is taste nicer, cheaper and good size portions. Masala chips was nice and good portion. Kids meal has small amount of chicken nuggets but more chips. Chicken nuggets was not very nice. My kids did like it much.

Today was a disappointment. Waitress didn't speak English, couldn't understand our order. We had to repeat ourselves, she still took wrong order. Food came nearly 25 minutes apart and drinks came after we finished our meals (we had to keep asking for our drinks!).  Food was tasteless, butter chicken and lamb curry  was very sweet, biryani was just pulao mixed with meat from curry. Think  there  was only 5 small  pieces of meat altogether. We only eat because we were hungry. We will never come back again. Such waste of time and money.

I enjoyed eating here. The ambience was really calm and subtle. Food was served quick and it was very delicious. I got the burger and it delivered great flavour and spice. The only downside is that I was unhappy with the salad. Could have been fresh and maybe more salad and coleslaw but that is a minor issue because everything else was on point. Portion of chips was generous as well. The mojito was great. The inside decor was nice and bright and is quite spacious. Overall I enjoyed Lost Asia and I am glad to go back again. I would recommend to try their burgers.

We order a big order some part of the order was missing...had also ordered kids meal toys was missing kids was disappointed....few of the items on the order had specific instructions but they fail to follow through therefor certain people was unable to eat their meals overall quite disappointed why have options if you won’t follow through...other than that the food was really good and those that ate it did enjoy it...called them to tell them about the missing order they offered to give the missing items in our next purchase so let’s hope they stick to their words. Would recommend their food they just need to work on their service.

More people need to know about this place. Staff are very respectful, the food is amazing and by far better than Mac Donald’s or Burger King. The food tastes amazing, and you will never feel bloated like you do with most takeaways. We visit here at least once a week and live over 20 miles away. You need to open more branches and expand, you will do extremely well!!

Local chain grilling burgers on charcoal and serving them with mocktails, fresh juices and shakes

We had visited the other Band of Burger branches before and didn’t particularly enjoy them, but this branch is completely different!

I know it’s a pretty big statement, but this place might just be our favourite burger joint! Honeslty, the burgers are on another level. Naimul ordered the Wagyu This Way, which consisted of moreish wagyu beef topped with gorgonzola dolce and truffle honey bacon 🤤 I asked for The Mexican- but this wasn’t your average mexican! It included chilli raclette cheese and a spicy tomato relish, and the guacamole was so good 😍 Naimul has had mexican style burgers before and hasn’t enjoyed them so he was reluctant to try it, but he didn’t regret it at all! The Onion Rings and Chilli Con Carne chips were mouth-watering, and it was so refreshing to eat dirty fries that weren’t just smothered in cheese.

Over the weekend I went to check out @bandofburgersuk with their new location in Walthamstow, which was the former home to Brioche Burger one of the ex-elites in the game. Fair to say that Band of Burgers have picked up the Baton and are keeping the bar high.⁣

I checked out the new lanuch menu, featuring a selection of starters and burgers. First of all, a note has to be made with the quality of ingredients on offer. Beef used in burgers Is 35 days aged grass fed Angus and Aged Wagyu as well. Only Organic produce are used, no processed cheese here, they use fancy cheeses from Brough market working with Jumi cheese. ⁣

Unlike the other locations of band of burgers, this restaurant uses a flat grill to cook their burgers and if you have read my best London in burger blog post, you know that's the only type of burger I'm interested in. It makes for a juicier, fatter and tastier experience. ⁣

I had pretty much tried all of the burgers on offer, my favourite were the big cheese and the Mexican. Great flavours, that melted fat taste that I love, soft sweet bun, a all round good burger. ⁣

Very nice food, burgers are very big. You will get messy hands and maybe a messy face LOL but it's super worth it. Personally wouldn't get the jalapeno slaw again but everything else was brilliant!

Burgers were juicy and flavourful. One of the best ive had. Staff were very helpful and inviting. Very good portion-sizes. Would definitely recommend

The smash burger contained two patties. The meat wasn’t as tender as I would have liked it and quite bland but the rest of the burger made up for it as it brought out other flavours. I love a saucy burger and this was it. I liked how the gherkin was on top making it an attractive burger. I found it difficult to put the gherkin into the burger so took a few bites between eating the burger. However my friend had no issues with placing it into the burger. I really enjoyed the rosemary and thyme chips, they were just right and hit the spot. Overall, satisfied with my meal and would eat here again. I went on a Saturday evening and it wasn’t very busy.

The burgers were delicious. High quality. Will be definitely coming back for more and will recommend it to friends and family.

One of the best burgers I have ever had! They have turkey bacon which is rare. The staff is very friendly. Their sweet potato fries could benefit from an improvement but other than that loved it!

A fully halal restaurant in Walthamstow serving up traditional cuisine from the Uyghur region of China. A very simple and cosy place from a husband and wife team. Be prepared to wait for food during busy periods. .

The noodle chicken chow mein had some crazy spicy that left a strange tingling sensation on my lips and tongue. .

Not your typical Chinese style food.

Etles Uyghur Restaurant

Went to the Finchley branch. Lovely decor. Food was full of flavour. I could taste the food in my mouth an hour after my visit,not even an exaggeration. Hand made noodles are the star of the show, really thick and soft. Our Uzbek brother that served us was really informative and was great to talk too. Highly recommended.

Noodles were unfortunately too salty - couldn't eat it so was comped. Boiled dumplings came with a hair! got sent a new portion - tasted quite nice.
Rice with lamb tasted good, but for £11 the portion was definitely too small.
Staff were avoiding us throughout the visit, apologized in the end though.

Different cuisine to the usual and adds another dimension to Chinese food. Good flavours and fusion of cultures have resulted in some great flavours. Home made noodles also tastes far better than any other noodles I have tried. Wish the menu could have been more varied to provide more Uyghur cuisines.

The food was delicious, especially the Home made noodles, which was a favourite with my whole family. Amazing atmosphere in the place and the staff was helpful and friendly. 
However, we were offered cake at the end which we assumed was complimentary as the owner came to us and spoke to us about it and then we were asked to pay, this was fine but just not expected! The cake was beautiful though.
