Went to the coffee shop next to La Moda. Same owner different managers. Food was good. Bread was a little hard to cut (sour dough can be quite hard). Too much food. I suppose too much is better than too little 🤣
Seems like a husband and wife team. Lovely couple, great service. Loved the music. Prices were reasonable especially for the amount of food you get.

We celebrated a family birthday at this lovely restaurant, which boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for capturing memorable photos. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. While the restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol, they do allow guests to bring their own at no additional charge, which was a nice touch.
Unfortunately, the dining experience didn’t go quite as planned. Our orders were mixed up, and meals arrived at different times, which disrupted the flow of the celebration. The food itself was fairly simple, though this doesn’t reflect on the quality of service or the kindness of the staff.

This place is amazing.

Great portion sizes. Excellent service. Treated like VIP and all the employees have a smile on their face.

Farhood's hospitality was splendid. He even gave us a drink on the house which was the cherry on top.

While the place is ... pretty. It feels more like we paid for the background rather than for the food.
The lamb ribs were half fat (we couldn't eat most of it because it started to make me feel sick)
The food came in mostly cold, and flavourless. For the price? Definitely not worth it.

The staff was nice tho. So that's something. They offered a dessert cos it was my friend's birthday but we declined because the main's we had was just so bad we couldn't stay because our mood was just getting worse and worse.

Stepping into Lamoda Restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The quality of the food stands out immediately, each dish thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. A good wholesome proper Chai (Karak chai) well run, well branded with a good menu for all and families. One of the original’s and one of the best in London. Also… Great service from Aslam as always 👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏿 **Please keep up the lovely warm friendly family friendly environment (with no music) that way we can hear each other speak.

A lovely little place right opposite the famous Kings Head pub in Tooting. Serving a variation of Pakistani breakfast dishes & assorted street food. Highly recommended.

A Masterclass in Mediocrity

The chai? Surprisingly good - credit where it’s due.

The parathas? Perfectly reheated straight from the freezer aisle. The masala chips? A true masterpiece of sogginess, drenched in enough sauce to make you forget they were once potatoes. The samosa chaat? Let’s just say I had no idea what I was eating.

Why bother with authentic, tasty, or freshly made food when we have Chaiiwala branches to remind us how low our expectations can go? If you’re just after chai, great - skip the food and save yourself the regret.

Wonderful service, warm and very spacious quite good for large gatherings and uni students. Abdullah was quite friendly and welcoming when we went. Definitely recommend if you’re look for a quick tea break or a place to sit down and talk.

@detroitpizzalondon has been open for about a year now and seeing as I've never tried a detroit style pizza, I thought I'd set plans for Friday dinner. Baked in blue steel pans, it's supposed to be properly authentic for anyone wanting a detroit style pizza.

So I opted for the Red Stripe pizza which was £17 for a large, add ground beef and it's £20 - no this isn't cheap pizza as you can see. *Please note only their beef is halal.* My expectations were quite high and then I took my first bite. Lip smackingly good. That Sourdough crust gets you - so airy snd crunchy on the exterior. Unlike any other crust. Cheese was brilliant and they ain't kidding with the name - was literally a red stripe of beautiful tangy tomato sauce. Often I need to ask for extra tomato sauce but there was ample here and I loved that no ingredient in the pizza was more overpowering than the other. Usually when you ask for additional toppings it's nothing too eventful but these guys are using quality quality beef suppliers and for £3 it's definitely worth that beef. Spread so well and evenly, it's for sure the best beef I've ever had on a pizza.

The pizza itself is a square shape and quite thick so naturally is quite heavy. A large will be enough for 3 maybe 4 people. Got some ranch sauce too and it went well (£2.50) for it is a little steep imo. I'm fed up of most pizza joints tasting the same as they're all using similar suppliers, there's no variety. This is outstanding.

As I type this review the taste is still in my mouth. Easily one of the best pizzas I've ever had if not the best. You can order online and it'll take 20 or so min. Do it.

In a very long time this was probably one of the better pizzas. I've had the ranch sauce so fresh. The staff were really friendly. The place is small but quaint.
If you're looking for a great pizza place in London, I would definitely recommend coming here very briefly. This is only one pizza, but I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more variations. Please give this a go if you're in london or live here

Amazing Pizza, Worth the Premium Price!
The pizza here is great, with lots of excellent options. The bread/crust is truly amazing—it's a different style that's a welcome change. Be warned, though, the food is incredibly filling; finishing a large one is a serious challenge! We ordered two pizzas between us, a trio of dips, and a root beer.
The trio of dips is a must-try. The ranch dip is the best I've ever tasted, and the hot sauce was fresh and delicious. On the downside, the root beer wasn't great (tasted a bit like medicine to me, but that's a personal preference!).
Service was very quick and efficient, though quite transactional—lacking a bit of rapport or attentiveness/personality.
The pizzas are on the expensive side at £12–£16 each, but this is definitely a premium slice and worth the value. My only other suggestion would be to offer a wider variety of soft drink options, as there weren't many to choose from.
I've been planning to visit for a long time, and I can confirm: it was absolutely worth the trip!

We got the Detroit pizza (Pepperoni, jalapeños and hot honey). For three of us we got one large pizza and a dip each. Was the perfect amount not to over fill you. Food came out hot and was amazing.

The service was quick and genuinely friendly. Just to note we went to the Spitalfields location which is walk in only. Perfect place for a small group of friends as the seating is very limited.

Our beef is halal and we also have a lot of veggie options.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Dawat in Tooting! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the food was simply outstanding. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients.
A special shout-out to Nakhal for her exceptional service. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her warm personality and professionalism really elevated our experience and made us feel genuinely valued as guests.

Some photos attached – we couldn’t take any images of the food as we simply couldn’t resist and dived straight in! That alone says everything about how good it was.

We had such a lovely evening and will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended to anyone looking for amazing food and outstanding service in Tooting!

I visited this  place and overall it was a disappointing experience. The atmosphere was just okay—nothing particularly warm or inviting.

The food, unfortunately, was below average. The fish curry had no real flavor or depth, and honestly felt very basic. The only highlight was the dessert, the carrot sweet (gajar halwa), which was actually quite good.

Service was horrible. Our dishes came out at completely different times, and one of our starters only arrived after we had already finished our meals. Even worse, they completely forgot to bring the rice—despite the waiter repeating our order back to us to make sure nothing was missed. Rice is an essential part of the main course, and yet it never came.
Considering the quality of food and service, the prices are quite high. I wouldn’t go back, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Nice place, nice food, staff was kind too! Butter chicken and garlic naan were a pleasant experience, especially here in the UK! Pani Puri was indeed a player of the game! Having said that there is defo a room to improve! Chkn tikka biryani was good too, although, even better with butter chicken’s curry. Falooda was spot on! Aslam who served us was also professional and prompt!

Best kebab in London I've had so far! Price is amazing, flavours incredible and staff so friendly! Still thinking about it today and wish I stocked up on more!! Will be back 😊

Dawat in Tooting is a very good place for people who enjoy non-vegetarian food, as they have a wide range of non-veg options and the taste is quite good. However, if you are a vegetarian, you might face a little difficulty due to limited choices on the menu.
I would mainly recommend this restaurant to non-vegetarians. That said, the atmosphere and staff were both nice and welcoming. I personally suggested that they add Dal Makhani to the menu for vegetarians, as I am a vegetarian myself.
Overall, it was a good experience.

I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants a slightly different take on brunch. The food was reasonably priced, delicious, and a good portion size. There was a good range of hot and cold drinks, and a happy hour with a modest selection. The decoration was simply beautiful and relaxing, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable.

The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming to us, and we always felt like they gave us enough space to enjoy our conversations and food but was always local when it came to clearing up or getting more drinks. It was also a bonus they treated us with a small dessert on the hour, and the Blue Light Discount was a cherry on the cake.

Definitely will be visiting again soon.

I recently visited Megan’s in the Village in Wimbledon Village for brunch/lunch (choose as applicable), and while the restaurant has a lively reputation and a generally cosy Mediterranean vibe, I especially wanted to highlight the service from our server, Rose.

From the moment we were seated, Rose delivered exceptional service — warm, attentive, and genuinely engaged without ever feeling overbearing. She struck that perfect balance of checking in at just the right moments, offering helpful suggestions from the menu and making us feel truly welcome from start to finish.

This place is genuinely adorable: lovely décor, warm vibe, and service that’s quick and friendly. The menu is creative and full of interesting, innovative dishes; everything we tried was genuinely tasty and well-executed.The only downside is portion size. For the price, the plates feel noticeably small, which keeps it from being everyday dining territory.That said, for a special treat, the atmosphere and quality make it worth it. I’d happily return to work through more of the menu.Tip: Arrive before 10 am for brunch; it gets packed fast.Verdict: Highly recommended when you’re in the mood to indulge in a pretty setting with excellent food—just don’t come starving.

Quite tasty dishes with decent portion sizes. If you’re a fan of kebabs you’ll love this. Dishes didn’t feel overpowering on flavour and heat. Service was quick although desert took longer than expected.

Really good burguer. The place was too cold (December) even when some heating on.

One of the best lamb burgers in town. Packed full of flavour, the patty is bang on point, sauces are a treat and the other fillings make sense. Not bad value for money esp considering they sell vegan burgers around the market for double the price of a lamb one...bonkers!
Will be back again and again for that burger...banging!

The burger meat at very dry and didn’t have a great sear and the meat itself didn’t have great flavour. There was a lot of Indian spices thrown in that didn’t really blend well with the food and I often found whole cumin seeds in my mouth. The burgers patties were so dry it became a chore to finish.

The chicken tikka fries were very nice and the chicken had a lovely flavour.

Nuggets and chips were a disappointment, a little dry and not much flavour.

Standout item was the chicken loaded fries.

Food was ordered on Uber eats and arrived quite quickly (20mins)

Fantastic burgers. Flavours spot on.
Had no issue with service and having to wait for more orders. Chicken was juicy and so tasty. Only 4 stars due to sauce being slightly on the sweet side for my mum but I enjoyed it.
Camden Market is extremely busy so expect queues and tight spaces.
Highly recommend visiting here.

Visited this place after seeing them on Netlifx, and it delivered on its promise! Delicious Indian food in 'familiar forms' such as burgers and loaded fries. Amazing! Situated at a fun food court yard. Great for a sunny day!

Horrible experience, I used to enjoy buying food from here until one h ago I’ve ordered through uber eats and there was offer 1 plus 1 for the G smash which if I remember right it had two nice smashed beef patties.. tonight it only had one beef part which was broken in two pieces and was one on top of the other, as you can see in the picture I had half of the burger and I still didn’t get to the actual beef, it wasn’t smashed at all, it was boiled and hard meat.. I specifically specified well done and was well under cooked, cheese not melted , horrible experience in special when you are hungry. Understand was one plus one  but don’t make two burgers out of two ..

Disgusting. Not sure what’s happened to this place, but ordered some wings and chips and both were horrid. The chips were all brown and overcooked, looked tired. The wings were undercooked and cold with some random sauce slapped on top. I used to look forward to ordering from here, but never again. You shouldn’t be serving undercooked, cold chicken to your customers. Don’t bother wasting your money here!!

I just ordered the milk cakes online. I accidentally didn’t write a good review so I’m coming here to tell everyone that the cakes were amazing. The milk cake were sweet and beautifully made. I really recommend. The milkshake is really good too! I wish I kept the photos to show, my belly is satisfied :)

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was good. I enjoyed the beef I got as well as the appetizers. The food came relatively quickly. Only issue would be that the price on appetizer and certain dishes was a bit on the more expensive side. I would recommend this place of you want to try good Korean food with plenty of variety.

Second time still three people but for dinner, sharing fries chicken and rice stick, separately ordered main: beef ribeye BBQ + beef tongue BBQ, and beef soup. All are nice. It’s very noisy and we can only stay 1.5 hours as the table was reserved. Pay by cask can have discount.

Went today and had the Korean BBQ with pork belly and steak ribeye. Everything was delicious, with sauces , rice and lettuce. Meat was cooked on our bbq tabletop by the lovely lady who worked there - totally recommend this place. I did read the reviews (good and bad) but to me the food was really good, the place was almost full so most must agree!

The food was delicious and arrived super fast. Even when it was busy, the service was outstanding. My absolute favorites are the corn cheese, cold noodles, and jjigae🤩

Have come to this restaurant a few times in the past when visiting London.  Never disappoints.  Friendly service and tasty food.  We had a tofu bibambap and a Jjiggae soup dish.  Excellent flavours, good value.

i’m genuinely so horrified. i ordered in person and took some food home. i found a literal pen inside my chicken and rice box. absolutely ridiculous, how can you even miss that when you’re putting food in the damn box?? £9.45 for this is a joke.

As a delivery driver, I can say that this place makes the drivers wait consistently over ten minutes. As a customer, I wasn’t impressed with the value for money. Hence the rating. The staff are playing around instead of servicing the customers and it’s taking its time.

Found a salt packet cooked into the chicken burger batter/breading and I almost swallowed it.

I love their grilled chicken, so flavourful and saucy! I enjoy it more than Nando’s chicken. They grill to perfection - no anaemic chicken. The rice is so delicious and I’m not even a rice person! Garlic sauce is creamy and thin which goes well with the chips and rice!

I use to buy chicken from other branches of rio and it was the first time i visited this one. The chicken tasted sour and smell bad. The staff who took the order was delaying the delivery without any reason. My order was prepared and she was just standing near it and having funny chat with another staff. NEVER RECOMMENDED

Mr Zahid and the other stuff are very friendly. They make the best milkshake in London (that is a genuine statement) and their food is amazing. Especially when they have the buy one get one free deal on.

I traveled all the way from California to try Cheat Meals, and it was totally worth it! The service was fantastic, and the food was incredible—everything from American BBQ to cheat meals burgers, loaded fries, and sweet chili wings. The staff were also awesome. Can’t wait to keep coming back to Cheat Meals!

Can't say for atmosphere because I ordered but I ordered the plant burger and have to say the burger was great. One of those that made me double check what I'd ordered because the burger tasted so meaty and flavoursome so I can only assume the actual meat ones taste great. Whole meal is very like 5 guys. Good sloppy burger with slightly sweet brioche bun. Very generous portion of medium cut crispy fries, soft on the inside. If you're vegan/veggie or just looking to see what a good vegan burger tastes like, try the plant American BBQ. If you're vegan, I recommend swapping the cheese with some chipotle if you love a decent level of spice that doesn't linger 👍

I ordered the classic chicken burger and got one without cheese.

The chicken fillets were cooked to perfection and I would say the burgers are 9/10
It was very good, the bun, the sauce and just overall their burger is very tasty.
(The only problem I had was with the size, I just wish it was a little bigger but the burger was very good!)

The fries were 10/10 they were VERY GENEROUS. They are more generous than other burger shops, honestly.

I would order again for sure.

Tooting is home to many iconic Pakistani
restaurants and one being @lahorekarahitooting ,we
was delighted when Numan the owner invited us to
come by again as we're enjoyed our last visit so much.
Lahore Karahi has been in Tooting since 1995 and have
been serving authentic Pakistani food to its local for
years!
We ordered a variety of dishes, from Chicken Jalfrezi,
Lamb Chops and Lamb Karahi.
Everything was amazing but the Lamb Karahi was the
winner for me. Soft, succulent lamb pieces soaked in a
mildly spiced gravy sauce. It went perfectly with our
garlic naan and aloo paratha! Their Lamb Chops are
faultless, punching with flavour and spice.
We also opted for some desserts, the kheer had the
perfect amount of sweetness and left us craving for
more.
Lahore Karahi also have a great Events Room that is
decorated with floral arrangements and pampas and
will be a great place to host parties or small gatherings.
A special thank you to Rizwan the manager at Lahore
Karahi ensuring we was happy with the service and
food at all times!

@lahorekarahitooting impressed us
with their authentic main menu - a rather large menu
for sure!
We were invited to try out their dishes - Overall
everything was pretty darn nice though the Masala fish
I found to be bland and lacking taste. Also Haleem
could have done with some more seasoning/tharka.
Other than that what you see is a selection of fantastic
food. Everything was quality because having it even the
next day the meats quality was @ and each dish was
as enjoyable - this is important as food next day from
most places really doesn't age well.
Desserts took me by surprise. Wow. Both made in
house, the kheer and gulaab jaman were probably the
best I've had in the UK.

We made a reservation to visit Lajo de Karahi, and I’m glad we did because the place was full when we arrived. The atmosphere was lively and authentic. This was my first time trying Pakistani food, and I was invited by my daughter, who told me it was one of her favorite restaurants — and now I completely understand why.

The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish had rich, fresh flavors and felt perfectly homemade. Another great detail is that you can bring your own alcoholic drinks, which makes the experience even better.

Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was quick and friendly, and everything we ordered was worth it.

Definitely a place I would return to. If you’re in London and want to try authentic, flavorful Pakistani cuisine, Lajo de Karahi is a must-visit.

5/5 stars! Had an amazing experience at Lahore Karahi! The Chicken Jalfrezi was incredibly tangy and spicy, just perfect for those who love a kick. The Chana chickpea bhuna was richly spiced with a great aroma also the meat biyarani. The Chicken Tikka was tender and full of flavor. Fresh salad, cold drinks, and freshly made naan complemented the meal perfectly. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend this spot for authentic and delicious Pakistani cuisine!

So I want to start by saying it is not awful, it hits the basics well enough. My concern was the portion size of the medium mixed grill and the price point. I found it  a little small for £21 and the cost is on the high side. You basically get two seekh kebabs, two chops, two wings with ZERO lamb shish at all and a two chicken tikka. I had to pay £150 extra for a dry snap nan that was not cooked in atandoor but on a pan.  My whole meal was about £25. I think that is pricey. The taste was average. Slightly overcooked if I'm honest. But it was okay.I was there on a Friday afternoon so my first choice restaurant was impossible to get into. So it will not be a complete list down. It filled a hole.

Was really excited to try as heard good things but... Waited 1.5 hours for food to arrive (and only live 5 min drive away.) The dishes we ordered look nothing like the pictures on uber eats. The naan's were soggy, cold and undercooked with the garlic naan having no flavour. The Keema Karahi was very dry (no wonder they're advertising buy one get one free) and the Saag Aloo looked scarily like cow pat, again no sauce and only 3 potatoes. I'm really dissapointed as I I paid £35 for all of this, including a Tarka Daal which was too spicy to eat :( To top it off all the food was cold and was shocked by this as I live so close. Maybe it is better to eat in but will definitely not be eating here again.

GENUINE REVIEW:

I had come here this evening with my partner for dinner, we were served by a gentleman who was seeing everyone queuing up.

We were seated quite quickly, and ordered food not long after…

FOOD:

We ordered 1 pair of vegetable samosas, mushroom and onion rice, chicken saag, chicken tikka masala and 2 plain rice.

Vegetable samosas - came out quick enough but both were loop warm to cold.

Chicken saag - the chicken saag texture was really thick and had absolutely no taste to eat, also was very salty.

Chicken tikka masala - chicken pieces were soft, but the sauce was runny, had no taste of either cream or tomato. This was a runny texture and tasted like a gravy that came out of a bisto sachet!

Mushroom and onion rice, the rice lacked flavour, the onions were boiled not panned of fried, the mushrooms seemed like they were out a tin and not fresh at all.

Naan bread - the breads looked fine but again had absolutely no taste to how a plain naan should taste like, they had a crisp and fluffy texture but not the best I’ve had.

Condiments sauces - the mint yogurt sauce lacked taste and not enough sugar to give the sauce it’s natural flavour
The mango chutney, was good and had chunks, chilli sauce was also good and had flavour.

SERVICE:

The service for me was not above par, a polite woman took our order after asking her questions about the dishes we ordered but seems to lack the knowledge of the menu.
We had also asked 3 times for water before we was given any, plates we left empty after our starter although asked if they could be taken to provide more serving space.

At the end I had asked for the bill and was not given one just the manager coming up with the card machine and quoting me £38. I didn’t bother to ask as at this point I wanted to just leave!

One of the waiters was cleaning out table before leaving who acknowledged us and asked about the food which I didn’t hold back and said it was appalling, he asked why and I had told him which he obviously felt embarrassed and didn’t know what to say not even a sorry….

I won’t be coming back here at all and o do not recommend such a place! I even gave my salaam on arrival to the manager who obviously didn’t want to acknowledge me at all…

I would unfortunately avoid coming here as there are many places on the high street to eat better quality food at the same price or even less.

Everything on our menu is halal. We don’t serve alcohol but we operate a BYOB policy.

I’d rather eat at Burrito & Co in the market place but it was raining quite hard.

£11 for a large chicken burrito with guacamole, and it tastes ok, but you’ll struggle to be served by more uninterested staff, and it’s not a particularly nice environment to eat. The Tortilla in Guildford is so much nicer.

Overall it was fine.

Edit: how to know a company only pays lip service to their service and has no intention of making any improvements is that they ask you to copy and paste your Google review to a generic email address. But it’s ok, they included an emoji, they’re cool.

Queued for 10 minutes to get to front of line, and ask a few questions regarding ingredients and what’s available. Lady got visibly annoyed, blunt answers and then shoved us to the side to serve the people behind us. Hat says “Ask what’s fresh” but the staff say ask a question and loose your chance to order. Won’t come here again.

Yesterday, Ernesta looked after us. She was very welcoming and friendly. To my disappointment, I asked a lot of questions about the menu, but she was incredibly patient and understanding. We felt appreciated, and overall, it was a wonderful experience.

I went here for lunch on Friday and suffered the worst food poisoning I’ve ever experienced. I ordered rice, chicken and guacamole bowl, and that night awoke with nausea and vomiting that lasted until the morning. I’ve been looking at reviews here; has anyone else experienced similar at this tortilla? This restaurant needs a serious investigation into its hygiene standards, and I would warn anyone considering eating here to steer clear!

The spot is not massive but very lovely and cosy in a way. Most importantly that food was great! We came here following the reviews and never regretted. Delicious, nice service, quick delivery of food, comfortable environment (a bit on a smaller size though, no big groups I’d suggest).
My teens are fan of sushi, hence I was meticulous with the choice. They loved it, means it was worth it. Decent prices for London. Will add the photos for you to decide. We enjoyed it! Well done to the place and the people here! Keep it up!

Not my first visit here, and still a great place for food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, their positive spirit is sensed as you walk through the door.
Food tastes amazing and fresh, they offer a variety of sushi rolls, I recommend the crunch and the kaburi menu.
The bao buns are also mouthwatering and a must try.
Prices are reasonable especially compared to quality, taste and the lovely service

We ordered the octopus balls to start, they were okay, nothing special. The premium platter was fantastic, took a little bit of waiting but it was definitely worth the wait!!! Didn’t finish it all but we were starving when we arrived so could definitely share between three people. Our favourite was definitely the crunch sushi but overall a really good variety. The location of the toilet was a bit strange, you have to walk through the middle of the kitchen to get to it. Blue light discount was much appreciated! Definitely recommend, we will be back!

I recently visited Sushi & Co, and I had a really nice experience. We ordered sushi and noodles, and both tasted good. The flavours were enjoyable, and everything felt fresh and well-prepared.

Overall, it was a pleasant visit, and I would definitely like to try it again when I’m there next time.

When I had it two years ago I thought it was pretty basic. I think when I had it this time. I kinda enjoyed it. I wouldn’t say it’s mind blowingly good. But I would definitely say a tasty good quality chicken. It’s more like have a roast chicken or rotisserie chicken style taste. Couldn’t taste any peri peri. It was juicy and succulent and I think the chicken quality this time was better than last time. I don’t even like Nando’s, so this personally is way better

The green rice was rather too oily. It’s like a sticky rice, with few vegetables. However being oily it did go hand in hand with the chicken. The chips was crispy.

The best thing is the chilli sauce. That sauce on anything is amazing. Drench it on chicken or the chips. You’ll enjoy it.

The dessert was banging. Probably the best dish for me. It’s like them layered biscuity cakey. With cream and caramel on top. Must try

Casa do Frango

with a beautifully tender texture and rich flavors. The sauces that accompanied them were absolutely incredible, enhancing each bite with just the right balance of tanginess and richness. And the drinks were equally delightful, perfectly complementing the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with lush greenery indoors that gave it a fresh and vibrant feel, almost like it was helping purify the air. All in all, it was just an amazing dining experience!

Lovely vibe and atmosphere at the restaurant, nicely decorated and easy to find, just next to Borough Market. We ordered sourdough, Iberico pork croquettes, mushroom à bulhão pato, Frango piri-piri, slow-roasted pork cheek, and casa rice for a table of three. This is definitely good portion and got us super full.

The sourdough was soft inside with a crispy crust, thick-cut and served with whipped butter, which was a nice surprise! The croquettes were a bit too salty for me personally. The mushroom dish had lemon added, but it was too sour and I couldn’t taste much garlic. It came with toasted sourdough underneath that soaked up all the sauce — though again, too sour for the sourdough!

We ordered the Frango piri-piri after seeing other reviews, and it was absolutely amazing. Just a reminder — it’s quite spicy, so be careful if you can’t handle spice! The pork cheek was surprisingly good and tender, even though the plating didn’t look too impressive. It was full of flavour, and the sweet potato purée with the meat juice was also delicious.

The casa rice seems to be a popular choice, but it wasn’t a wow for us — still decent though. We shared their gelato, and I have to say the sea salted caramel flavour was exceptional!

Overall, loved the whole experience — comfortable place, great service, and would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at Casa do Frango in London Bridge. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with real care. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. The beautiful décor and warm, stylish atmosphere made the whole visit even better. The space feels vibrant, relaxed, and thoughtfully designed.

While the food and ambience were excellent, the service could use some improvement. We were served by several different waiters, which led to some confusion, and a few extra items were added to the bill that we never received. I didn’t complain at the time, especially as they kindly invited us to the drinks, which was appreciated. Still, a bit more training and coordination among the staff would make the experience truly perfect.

Despite this, the overall visit was fantastic — the quality of the food and the atmosphere more than made up for the service hiccups. I’d definitely return and still highly recommend Casa do Frango for a delicious and memorable meal.

As a British Portuguese person, I’ve struggled in the past in recommending decent Portuguese restaurants and always had to mention places in Stockwell/Vauxhall. I have to say I’d highly recommend this place as it was lovely seeing a menu of dishes that my family makes at home 👏🏼 Unfortunately a bit of the chicken we ordered was undercooked but Charles, our server sorted us out. He really went above and beyond ensuring we were well taken care of and checking in with the person I was with who has a seafood allergy. Perfect location and great spot to have a meal with friends/family.

This place surpassed our expectations! We came for NYE because reservations were still open. Every single item we were served was amazing! The service and ambience were top notch. Our server Sydney was such a sweetie. And so was the manager. We were glad we ended up eating here for our last meal of 2026! 🥂🍾🎉

The atmosphere was lively and modern, and the food was absolutely delicious — fresh, well-prepared burgers with great flavour and quality ingredients.

What really made our visit special was the excellent service from our waitress Eglė. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our meal. Eglė made sure everything was perfect, helped us with recommendations, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Her positive attitude and warm service truly enhanced our dining experience.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service — especially thanks to Eglė. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back again!

I don’t know which is worse … the food or the waitress? Ordered a milkshake (the only good part) and a Roquefort Burger and once it arrived, we all couldn’t believe how disgusting they were. Took one bite and it made us feel sick. When asked how the food was I said “to be honest, we really don’t like these burgers. They taste awful” …

Having seen so many Gordon Ramsey shows, this was my first restaurant experience and I don’t expect to get told “Sorry but you should have Google’d it”, shrug and then walk off … is this the level of customer service you offer?!

You can’t scrape off the taste (trust me, we tried). Don’t bother going here, go elsewhere.

I visited this beautiful restaurant with a friend and we were both extremely impressed with it. First impression, we both mention upon entering was the delicious smell of Thai food that meets you as soon as you walk in.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated with a a lot of attention to details mixing traditional and modern, creating a welcoming  and inviting atmosphere.
The food was delicious, we went for the buffet and tried everything they had to offer. Thai cuisine is my favourite and I know very few places that deliver the authentic Thai flavours outside of Thailand, but this is definitely one of the best I have tried. Their Tom Yum was full of flavour, the papaya salad was amazing and my favourite dish which have only ever found in one other restaurant, Yentafo noodles! They were extremely tasty and authentic. Like I said we tried everything and we loved it all. We were so impressed with this little restaurant, drinks were very good as well. I had a passion fruit virgin cocktail and it was so good I had to order a second one.
I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant as it is definitely one of the best  I have ever visited.

Another amazing meal at Patara! We had the lime chili seabass, pad thai, wild chili beef, water spinach and mango sticky rice for dessert.  Best Thai food in London. Pamela and the staff always provide excellent service which is why it’s our favorite restaurant. Highly recommend this location.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Patara.   The service was first class with very friendly and welcoming staff, who were very knowledgeable of the dishes on the menu.

It was my first time visiting this brand in Wimbledon after hearing great things about their buffet, and I must say I was very impressed. The setting and layout of the restaurant are stylish and welcoming, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles from all the staff, which instantly made me feel at home.

The buffet selection is fantastic, with a wide variety of authentic Thai dishes to enjoy. I particularly loved the freshly made papaya salad – my absolute favourite Thai dish – and the noodle soup, which was cooked to perfection and reminded me of the flavours I know from Thailand. Even though I was already quite full, I couldn’t resist ordering a main course as part of the buffet and went for the king prawn Pad Thai. It was beautifully cooked, with the perfect balance of salty, sweet, and tangy flavours.

To finish, I treated myself to the Thai desserts, which were served in delicate bite-sized portions. The coconut sweet was especially delicious and rounded off the meal perfectly.

What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the service. All the staff were attentive and professional, and a special mention must go to Joob, who looked after our table. Her attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism were outstanding – one of the best waitresses I’ve ever come across.

Overall, this was a wonderful Sunday dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, tasty Thai food in Wimbledon.

Best khao soi I’ve had outside of Chiang Mai. Amazing appetizers too. Pamela was fantastic. Such great service. We can’t wait to go back and try the brunch buffet. Super authentic food with the freshest ingredients.

As it’s literally outside one of the hospitals I look after (St. Thomas’) 🏥 I’ve come here many times before in the past.
Usually just for a beer or two 🍺 if I finish late (always pint of Cobra btw, which is vegan) but I had also had their hummus and falafel, which are actually delicious! 🧆
Today though I was having a working lunch with a colleague and I forced myself to feel hungry, cause I really wanted to try one of their new vegan chicken dishes! 😝

We had a lovely celebration of our daughters 18th birthday. We had a bottomless brunch. Quite often on these kinds of lunches the food is not very nice. However the food at Banana tree was fantastic. We had a very lovely waitress called Jinal. She gave us a complimentary birthday cake with ice cream for our daughter. We were definitely recommend the banana tree and will be returning soon.

Lovely calm atmosphere. Shamil was attentive, without being overly assertive. He was knowledgeable about the menu and smiled throughout the service. A pleasant experience. Thank you!

We went today for my twin cousins’ bday and the staff were so friendly and helpful - thank you so much for being so kind❤️they brought us cake at the end which was really lovely of them too and as always the food was amazing!

Solis

I’ve been to Solis  around four times now, and it never disappoints. Every single visit has been consistently amazing, which says a lot about the quality of this place. Honestly, it’s the best steak I’ve ever tried  perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and always tender and juicy.

What really stands out is the consistency. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers the same high standard every time, but Solis does exactly that. From the quality of the meat to the presentation and service, everything feels premium and well thought out.

If you’re a steak lover, Solis is a must visit. I can confidently say it’s my go to place for steak, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Went here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. On the reservation form (although I think they accept wallk-ins), i have indicated it's for a female birthday, I thought there would be something for her but at least the staff greeted her. ☺️

We both ordered Steak Bocadillo, fritas, limonada, and an ice cream sundae. The Steak Bocadillo was filling although I wouldn't recommend it if you are really hungry. I wish the  limonada had less ice. The sundae has loads of cream and a small portion of the ice cream but enough to just clean the palatte. I believe the price is reasonable, too.

The ambiance reminds me of turo-turo in the Philippines, and the table cover looks like something a turo-turo table would be covered with back home. It was really nice and very inviting.

The staff were halpful though I wish they smiled more although I saw them engaging with other customers so maybe they are nice.

Overall, we ate, paid then left. Not much of a memorable experience but maybe others had a blast. x

I recently dined at Solis and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was Amazing, and we were quickly seated despite the place becoming busy later on. The service was prompt, and our server was on top of things.

The food, of course, was the star of the show - tasty and delicious, if not amazing. I had the steak and chips with sauce, and it did not disappoint! The Fanta in a classic glass bottle with an orange segment was a refreshing touch.

The price was reasonable, and I thought the service charge was worth it - the staff were so welcoming and friendly, it felt like we were in good hands. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Solis for a great dining experience! Value for money, and the atmosphere was spot on. Well done, Solis!

My friend and I had lunch together, and the food was absolutely delicious. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the waiter who made us feel very comfortable and kindly recommended the dessert. We wish we had the opportunity to know her name. Definitely coming back again

Had a fantastic meal at Solis! The food was comforting, generous, and full of flavour. The steak sandwich was the standout — tender, well-seasoned meat packed into a soft roll, with fresh greens that added a nice balance. The fries were crisp and perfectly salted, and the corn with the creamy topping was rich and delicious.

For dessert, the sundae-style treat topped with whipped cream, crispy flakes, and a cherry was simple but really satisfying — the perfect sweet finish to the meal.

Wingstop Staines

Ordered a takeaway; spicy korean BBQ and Lousiana rub flavour... On the website it show 3 out of 5 chillis on the spicy scale for both flavours, however, the Lousiana rub just tastes like lemon and pepper and the spicy Korean BBQ is just BBQ sauce, there's no sesame or chilli, just BBQ sauce! I cannot taste any spice in any of these dishes. I am very disappointed, you shouldn't be misleading your customers. I have also tried to call the restaurant just now about 4 times in a row and no one is picking up the phone so I am now even more frustrated as I am not able to sort my order out with them and now left hungry. I shall never be ordering from here again.

Hena at Wingstop was amazing. She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was fresh, hot, and tasted great, and her service made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best visits I’ve had. Would happily come back again. 🍗✨

Anthony took our order. He was really sweet and patient with us whilst we tried to figure out what we wanted. He also gave some input which helped! Magaly (probably misspelling that) was so adorable. She brought our food to us and would check on us every now and then to make sure everything was great with our meal! Overall it was a great experience, food was tasty and staff were brilliant.

I had a great experience at Wingstop thanks to Kusum. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure my order was accurate and ready on time. Her customer service really stood out and made the visit enjoyable. Excellent service overall.

I have eaten popcorn chicken bigger than their boneless wings.
Their regular wings were must be from a crow because I have never seen wings so small. Absolute scam seeing you are paying over £1 per so called ‘wings’.

Also, what kind of place adds literal sugar granules to fries? If I want dessert, I will get a milkshake!!

Save your money and go literally anywhere else. If you are however in the mood to get disappointed and hate your life, feel free to buy food here.

YORI (Wimbledon)

First time visiting Yori in Wimbledon for lunch and I really enjoyed it. The food was lovely and full of flavour. Outstanding service from Mc & Isabella— very welcoming and attentive throughout. Highly recommended!

Very different experience to cook your own food. Food was tasty and fresh.
The outside of the restaurant did look closed as the windows were incredibly dirty, but the inside was clean and tidy. Would definitely go again next month.
We got the beef selection and the Kimchi bokum bab rice.

Fun place to cook yourself or order from the menu. Great customer service and delicious food. Enjoy👍🏽

Randomly decided to try this Korean restaurant and it did not disappoint.We had their spicy sweet chilli chicken, haemool kimchi jeon and their budae jjigae  stew and all of them were so deliciously authentic tasting.
Regardless seating there is plenty of seating available, we went in on Sunday afternoon and the restaurant barely had customers.Yori is a highly recommend restaurant for those who want to indulge in Korean cuisine.
Only downside is that the side dishes was just too little, tiny portion.And also the food is quite pricey but hey thats London for you right there.

I visited PizzaExpress and had an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us impatiently and unwelcomely, giving us little time to look at the menus and rushing our order. The environment was stressful, with constant banging and clanging while cleaning, which made the experience uncomfortable.

The food was inedible. The dough balls were undercooked and hard, and the pizza was raw in parts, paper-thin, covered in flour underneath, and extremely cold. The cheese hadn’t melted properly, and the dishes were not suitable for sharing. Even the tap water was uncomfortably warm. I felt physically unwell after eating.

We had visited this restaurant several times before, but this experience was hostile, humiliating, and completely unacceptable. Other diners appeared to be treated normally, which made the experience feel particularly deliberate and unfair. Waste of money and time and ruined my bank holiday dining!

We held our daughter’s 7th birthday party here - the pizza making party was brilliant.  Geisy and Samnija were amazing.  So helpful, friendly and so welcoming and ran the party with ease.  The whole party was great from start to finish and we would recommend this to anyone considering a kids birthday party.  My daughter and her friends had the best time. Thank you again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had such a great time at pizza express for my birthday! The staff was very friendly and informative! I got great deals and would highly recommend visiting this branch.

We had a disappointing experience at this PizzaExpress. We were three people and ordered two pizzas, which seemed to change the waiter’s attitude once he realised we were tourists.

Despite all three of us already ordering drinks, we were still encouraged to order bottled water, along with olives, pizza dips and a starter. At no point were we told that these items were charged extras or informed of the prices. We only discovered this when the bill arrived.

The lack of price transparency made us feel taken advantage of as tourists. This is not the standard of service we expected from a well-known chain.

MB Chicken Hounslow – Highly Recommended!

I recently visited MB Chicken Hounslow and had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious — from the fresh, juicy chicken to the perfectly made burgers, everything tasted fantastic.

The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. Their warm behaviour and respectful attitude made the visit even better. You really feel valued as a customer here.

Been 3 or 4 times already, super friendly staff (One of the ladies gave me an extra sauce first time in), always amazing food, made fresh so it tastes homemade.

If you like buffalo chicken you need to come here, it HITS the spot.

It’s a bit on the pricier side  (£15.99 for 10 large tenders), but it’s 1000% worth it for the price - the 10 tenders are so filling.

Also play banging music in the restaurant, and has comfy seating. Also Halal chicken if people are after that.

I recently visited MB Chicken on Hounslow High Street, and it was an exceptional dining experience. Today, I indulged in their Spicy Chicken, which was simply divine. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The accompanying coleslaw was crisp and refreshing, while the fries and taters were delightfully crispy.

The restaurant itself was spotless, and the friendly staff ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of excellent. I particularly appreciated the generous portion sizes, which made the meal feel like a great value for money.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend MB Chicken to anyone craving delicious fried chicken in Hounslow. I would confidently give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

Hi! I just visited MB Chicken again, and I go there at least once a month — it’s my favorite spot for fried chicken. I used to eat at KFC, but ever since I tried MB Chicken about six months ago, I’ve never looked back. Trust me, it’s a game changer! The chicken is very crispy, a little spicy, and absolutely delicious.

What I really love is that it doesn’t feel oily at all, which makes it even better. In my opinion, it’s one of the best places in town for fried chicken. I usually just have two pieces, and it totally makes my day.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the place is big enough to visit with friends or family for a nice meal. I definitely recommend it and will keep coming back every month. Thank you!

We finally got to try MB Chicken in Hounslow – and honestly, it was such a great find! If you’re always on the lookout for good halal food like we are, this place is definitely worth checking out. The restaurant was super clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was really quick, which is always a bonus when you’ve got hungry mouths to feed.

We ordered the Big Mary combo, the original chicken tenders, and the chicken pop-ins – everything was hot, crispy, and full of flavour. You could tell it was all freshly made, and the portion sizes were really generous too. The tenders were probably our favourite – so juicy inside with that perfect crunch on the outside.

Also, the prices are amazing for what you get! Big Mary Mondays for £3.99? Absolute bargain. There are loads of other deals under £6 as well, so it’s great if you’re eating out on a budget.

Overall, it’s a fab spot for a casual bite with family or friends – quick, tasty, and super satisfying. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Took advantage of a warm summer eve during the heatwave this week to check out @batterseapwrstn for the first time! There are some good foodie options to choose from in the area, an outdoor cinema & some crazy golf to keep you entertained ⛳️ 

It would have been rude not to stop by @rotikinguk for some Malaysian food - one of my favourite cuisines 😍

We ordered roti canai w/ mutton curry, nasi goreng 🍤 & a roti w/ coconut jam for dessert 🥥 Everything on the menu is حلال. A cold teh tarik is just what I needed in that weather too 💦 

In terms of parking, there’s only really one option nearby in a private car park which charges by the hour. Even then, it wasn’t very clear which bays were for the general public. You’re better off getting the underground, seeing as there’s a brand new station here 👍🏽

A little bit of a wait but we were 8 people and it was really worth it. Portions are big and fresh. Food cane fast and the waiters are polite and courteous. Mohan was really attentive and kept us up to date while we were waiting so we weren’t anxious or anything. Come for a good meal and a full stomach.

I try not to be critical with my food reviews.

However for the amount of money you spend, I would be very selective with the dishes here. Best to observe what the other customers are ordering to facilitate your decision.

The beef rendang I had was not authentic. Honestly tasted like curry/korma instead of beef rendang. Didn’t finish my food.

The nasi goreng and roti telur isn’t bad; if you’re homesick.

Saw other guests ordering the mee goreng mamak and kway teow.

Customer service is good. Fast. Attentive. Probably this is the saving grace.

Food-wise, it’s probably worth eating something non-malaysian for the same price. Or just avoid the beef rendang so as not to leave disappointed.

Went with a group of friends and had an amazing time! The food was fantastic—flavorful, generous portions, and every dish we tried was mouth-watering. We sampled a variety of items, and everything was consistently delicious. The whole group enjoyed it, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

London food is awesome - Roti King was another in the chain of superhits during our short stay here. Crowded, small - you may have to wait. We decided to opt for seating outside and that jumped the wait queue. Food is fast and tastes amazing. We loved everything - nasi lemak, mei goreng, nasi goreng, roti canai in chicken, beef, and dhal (dal). The drinks (mojito, margarita) are ok, better than nothing. Location is superbly convenient if you are taking the boat.

Lovely food with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Alekhya and Mohan were amazing servers and the food was brought out very fast! My first time trying Malaysian food and will definitely be coming back

All good on our menu is Halal. Alcohol is sold at this location.

We had a great experience at Cinnamon Kitchen in Battersea. We ordered the mixed grilled plate along with lentils and paneer: everything was cooked beautifully and packed with flavour. The food overall was excellent, and the vegetarian dishes stood out just as much as the grill.
Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and stylish, making it a really enjoyable place to eat. Other diners also mention the consistently high quality of the food and the welcoming service, which matches our experience.

The atmosphere is genuinely good and the space is well designed. The food presentation is excellent—everything looks impressive when it arrives.

That said, the taste doesn’t live up to the hype. Overall, the food was average. While the garlic roti and tandoor roti were well made, and the biryani was decent, nothing really stood out in terms of flavour.

Service was just okay—not bad, but nothing memorable either.

In short, it’s a visually appealing restaurant with a nice ambience, but if you’re going purely for taste, it doesn’t quite justify the reputation or expectations.

I went to Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea with my friends for my hen party brunch, and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. Our waiter, Kranthi, was friendly, attentive, and really made sure we had everything we needed.
The brunch itself was fantastic value. We enjoyed dishes like hummus, beetroot, and Bombay eggs with prata (with the option of extra bread for a small charge). For mains, I had the salmon curry and lamb Rogan Josh, served with pilau rice, black lentils, and a bread basket full of fresh, piping-hot naan — some of the softest and tastiest I’ve ever had. The gluten-free ginger toffee pudding for dessert was a real highlight, and the pistachio coffee was the perfect finish.
Drinks and the 12.5% service charge for large groups were additional, but we still left an extra tip for Kranthi because the service was excellent.
The location is also a huge bonus — it’s right by the river, next to Megan’s at Battersea Power Station, with a free picnic area, a lovely river walk, and all the shopping inside the Power Station. It makes a great spot not just for celebrations, but also for families, couples, and friends to enjoy a day out.
I’d highly recommend Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea for its food, service, and unbeatable setting.

Had a wonderful Indian afternoon tea experience here, the food was amazing and the service from Kranthi was exceptional, he was very attentive & gave my friend and I unlimited chai. We also didn’t feel rushed and ended up staying for 4 hours which was really lovely. They also adjusted the menu to cater to our preferences between meat and vegetarian which was so nice. Genuinely highly recommend coming here for an Indian afternoon tea and will be back myself 🤗
