I'm giving this pizza express 5 stars simply for the amazing waiter service from Ivan. He was very friendly, made us laugh and was respectful. He even noticed that one of my friends was missing her starter and immediately brought it to her.

As this Pizza express is in a busy part of London its best to book a table in advance (they also ask when you get there if you've booked)

We managed to get a booth for 4 of us at 12pm on a weekday but by the time we left it was packed.

Been there last night for a dinner,the place was almost empty,we were waiting quit long time for our starters ,when finally arrived was frozen cold,we haven't received any check back ,after we finished it took them 10 min to collect plates ,main meal was served quickly however again ,no check back,I would understand if the place was busy but as I said was almost empty,I have asked one of the guys on shift for a tap water and it took him 5 min to bring it to the table as he was too busy checking his phone behind the bar,slow service,no check backs,no intention of upselling,no question if we want any hot?/additional drink or dessert

I had a pleasant lunch.
The clerk’s response was also polite.

Took a client in for a quick lunch. Good place for this, relatively quiet / enough space to have a discussion without being surrounded by other tables. Food was fine, not outstanding. Service was efficient, but not very attentive. Good standard for a mid range chain.

PizzaExpress has used halal-slaughtered chicken for several years, but we have never been able to offer a finished dish that was Halal-certified, due to the presence of pork and other non-halal meats in our restaurants and as our kitchens do not operate halal procedures.

Whilst our previous suppliers provided halal slaughtered chicken, it was never our policy for that to be our only option. Since the launch of our Autumn Menu on the 21st September our chicken now comes from accredited suppliers that use both non-halal and halal slaughter methods, because we have recently increased our sourcing options on chicken to ensure continuity of supply during the current challenges within all supply chains.

Where halal slaughter is used, the animals are stunned before slaughter. All our meat suppliers are approved by the Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards, a globally renowned safety standard and, all comply with EU or local animal welfare regulations.

If asked our teams in restaurants are trained to provide customers with accurate menu and ingredient information. In addition, this information is available on the customer support section of our website.

Please be aware that none of our other meats are halal and we do not have any halal kitchens or restaurants.

Lovely food, friendly staff and centrally located. A must visit. Decor is amazing.

Delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a restaurant. They nailed the flavour of California/west coast of Mexico tacos and burritos! So good! They have a new regular customer!

Tortilla going downhill? Tomato Rice was almost raw. No excuse that this could be a one-off. So many people buy from Tortilla and they definitely must be serving this knowingly. This could give stomach upset. I'm not bothered to walk again all the way to show them this. Not worth it. They must be well aware of this and yet they serve this to their customers. Shame on you Tortilla Leadenhall. Thanks for the New Year Gift, Raw Rice.

A great lunch option with plenty of seating. I just wish the downstairs seating area was brighter and warmer to make it more inviting!

Loved the decoration and the food was great as well. They have jackfruit, which is a nice vegan option! And there’s plety of space for a big company. Would recommend
