Little hidden gem! A cozy and warm place and the best burger in Brighton. I visited this place after a long search for a proper burger, and that's what I finally got. A delicious burger, freely sided with fries with a unique taste. The burger tasted juicy and fresh and did not taste dry or old at all. As usual, takeaway test! Absolutely delicious with top quality. I had the chicken burger and my family had beef burgers, which we ended up fighting over the last bits!

The place is very clean and offers burgers with seasonal special recipes and even vegan burgers.

Easily one of my fav burger place in Brighton. The staff was so friendly and nice. We got Jerk Chicken Burger (9.5/10) & Scotch Burger (7.5/10)

Jerk chicken burger was so juicy and delicious. It was spicier than the scotch one. 🍔 🌶️

this place was delicious, probably the best burger I've had recently, and jerk chicken that rivals what you can make at home. Id personally shoot for a brioche bun but that's nitpicking

Have enjoyed food from Moyos since they opened their first place. The passion and attention from here is second to none! Cannot recommend it enough.  Quality hot and tasty food served with a smile. Try everything you will not be disappointed!  Plantain bites really lush too. Cajun chips fluffy and crunchy.  Just the best.  And the burgers just wow wow wow!

5☆ — Big lunch done right at Moyo’s (inside The Islingword)

First visit and I’m a fan. I came for a proper lunch and had the Soulfoo Philly Cheeseburger with fries — juicy, well-seasoned, and the jerk/cheddar centre is the signature move for a reason. I asked about the plantain bites and the team let me try some on the house (I’m a student, so that kindness meant a lot) — sweet, crispy, perfect with a dip. It’s a family-run setup (two brothers when I visited) with flavours drawing on their time in Zambia, Saudi, and beyond — you can taste the care. They also offer halal options, which is great for friends who need it.
Heads-up: they operate inside The Islingword pub in Hanover, so don’t be thrown by Maps, just walk into the pub and you’ll find the Moyo’s van/kitchen at the back. Also, they open around 12:00, but delivery app hours can lag; the guys said they’re fixing that. Next time I’m back for the Jerk Chicken Burger and maybe the wings. Friendly people, great value, big flavours.

Situated at Western road, just before Taj grocery.. a calm and beautiful store.. great interiors.. awesome vibe.. excellent service.. they have great products .. huge varieties.. we went for breakfast.. we tried Chicken and avocado bun , black olives and cheese pie and Turkish teas.. the food quality is awesome.. delicious and tasty.. worth each penny.. they serve Turkish breakfast which includes a huge variety of items..its a huge tray (kept it reserved for next visit).. they also have a great section of cakes (very beautiful and tempting ).. the service is great.. now m tempted to visit it regularly till I try each n every item on the menu..

I recently discovered Simit Palace in Brighton, and it’s an absolute gem! Their Turkish breakfast is fantastic — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The simit was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the variety of cheeses, olives, and spreads made it a real feast. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try authentic Turkish flavors in Brighton!

Relaxing atmosphere. Staff were pleasant and helpful.The lahmacun was thinner than others I have had but tasted nice. Good choice of savoury and sweet food and a wide selection of drinks, including coffee, mint tea and hot chocolate. Great to find decaffeinated tea as not all cafés serve it.

Great Biscoff Cake purchased. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The size of cake was great served 8 very happy cake lovers!

What a lovely place! We only popped in for a hot chocolate on a rainy day, but also ended up buying some cheese and spinach Börek for take away. Very yummy!
The cakes look amazing too, would also like to come back here for breakfast.
Definitely recommend this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the place inside looks great with plenty of seating.
