Was looking for a new coffee shop to go to in Manchester and had this was on my radar, the food did not disappoint. The coffee was lovely and had a very good depth of flavour, the eggs Benedict was faultless as well (good portion sizes). Finished with an almond croissant which I would recommend. The only reason this place fell short was the service which was a little too slow, although the food came out quickly, everything else took a little more time. Overall a good experience though - would come again!

Cool indoor coffee shop offering all day brunch. Flavorful tasty dishes, tried the spinach and mushroom Benedict and the feta and avocado sourdough, were amazingly enjoyable food.

I'm so glad we visited this lovely place for our breakfast! High reccomend you book a table, and just a note, sitting out in the arcade can be a bit cold!
Everything was delicious, and staff were super friendly. The decor was lovely, and the atmosphere was great!

Food was amazing. Service staff was great. We were seated out in the arcade area which was quite cold and the food got cold quickly as we were eating. If you’re planning a trip, get a reservation inside or go when it’s warm. Otherwise, highly recommend.

A cute little cafe serving brilliant breakfasts and fantastic coffee (some of the best I’ve had!) in a stunning arcade tucked away in central Manchester.

The food was brilliant with the eggs being cooked absolutely perfectly, and the brisket being cooked well too - and the sourdough was very tasty and perfectly toasted.
I had an espresso and a machiatto, both which were perfect - which is a challenging feat. The pastry we had which, in all honesty, I’m not sure what it is, was delicious and I considered coming back for more pastries from their attached bakery.

Strongly recommend for breakfast/coffee lovers based or visiting in Manchester.

I had the worst cake I've eaten in months at this café. It was on a Monday afternoon, during one of the busiest times when many people stop by for a break. The cake wasn’t fresh at all and tasted really bad. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for dessert.

I’ve just had a coffee and a sandwich ( Mediterranean chicken on sourdough) and it’s delightful! And the price is very reasonable given its location. Situated in the exchange just opposite boots side entrance on market street, it’s wonderful place to have a quiet time for a coffee and a bite. Loved it. The team currently managing it seem lovely too and appear to have their regular customers and so lovely to see their friendly relationship! I’ll be coming back ❤️

Would 100% recommend the pistachio iced latte, delicious. They use pistachio crème not a pump which makes such a difference. The croissant on the other hand was SO disappointing, it’s not fresh and tastiest supermarket bought - zero crunch on the layers, soft and squishy all round. Tables outside are lovely and sheltered - great place to sit if it’s not windy.

I visit Michelle Café often — sometimes on my own, sometimes with my father. We usually go there just to enjoy a nice coffee. I have my own special creation: a Spanish latte with coconut milk, less sweet, and extra hot. It’s something I always enjoy.

Today, was jest 75% of ther cup Voll ⁉️
. The gentleman behind the counter refused to help saying the cup ist so .
I found that quite unhelpful, and very rude
especially since I’ve had it before without any problem.

If the owner wants to keep regular customers, he really needs to talk to his staff. A bit of flexibility and friendliness goes a long way. I hope this can be improved going forward, because I really do like the place.

Lazy Sundae - Manchester Arndale

Absolutely LOVE this place. I always get the ice cream because so they have so many different and UNIQUE flavours it brings me so much joy, worth every penny. My favourite flavours are mango mochi, lychee berry, and literally so many of the other flavours too. It’s a good easy location sort of right in the centre of arndale and they actually have a fair amount of seating too. Would defo recommend, as well as their other store a couple streets away too. So perfect for the sunny days or just whenever, because it’s just So delicious!!

I ate here several times on different menu
Thai tea is legit and not too sweet
Love the great variety of ice cream though they’re really pricey £4.5 for 1 scoop
Bingsu is fantastic! Had tried multiple flavours and they’re all spot-on. Great for sharing with friends too

Heavenly.

Located in Manchester Arndale, this is a great spot for bubble tea and let me tell you why! The taro milk latte is so light and refreshing - which makes it the perfect drink. The contrast of the earthy flavour with the taro mixed with chewy and sweet tapioca brown sugar pearls is just, wow. The tapioca is SO satisfying to chew, and it is really good quality tapioca as well. They also sell ice cream - which hopefully I’ll try soon! The staff are really welcoming and nice and the atmosphere is so relaxing, even though it’s in a middle of a shopping mall. They play really nice and chill music (maybe a bit of chillhop), which soothes me. If you find yourself in the middle of Manchester Arndale and find yourself here, give it a try because your mind will be blown.

Bingsoo from this shop is really nice, and all the drinks were tasty as well. We had mango bingsoo, citrus cooler, lychee cooler, and Thai tea/Viet coffee ice cream. First time trying from this shop; it would be better if they would do alternatives for dietary requirements.

Staff 10/10 nice place to relax chilled music ! Cool seating areas , menu easy to follow prices written clearly ! Beautiful area looking at the amazing glass roof just to be lazy ! Very family friendly, they sell icecream as well ! Different flavours generous with portions !

Nice atmosphere, really good food love the Pho noodle soup! The rice curry boxes are also really good and all the sides we tried (vegetable dumplings, loaded taters, chicken tenders) were all yum. Everything I got was delicious. Atmosphere is really nice, they have extra seating downstairs and even a jukebox to request songs on! Would recommend

Couldn't have had a better experience. The food was incredible, it was easy to order on the machines (and they listed the full macros and nutritional information!!), the meal deal was reasonably priced, you can even get desserts and bubble tea, the staff were so kind and considerate, it's wheelchair-accessible and dog-friendly. Will definitely go again!

Really handy place to grab something quick and tasty.

Had our food within minutes and I was expecting it to be leaning more towards fast food, however the rice box was lovely, really fresh slaw, well cooked rice and the pork was really tasty. Tots and dumpling worked well as sides and the bread in the baguette was really tasty.

This was my first visit and was not my first choice, but it will be in future. Very handy for dining before a gig or function in the city.

Not bad at all! Judging as a fast food joint, the food was excellent, the pulled mushroom noodle salad and veggie dumplings especially. Really liked the branding and user experience, food was served in a basket and all neatly packaged. We went for the full on meal deal which was good value - main, side and a drink. Food was hot, fresh and basking with flavour, even if it was additive-centric. Liked the free digital jukebox, nice touch though seemed too many Swifties ate there. In all, thought it was great and will be back. Definitely give it a go!

5/5 – A Perfect Anniversary Celebration!

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Grand Pacific after a lot of research and discussion—and we’re so glad we chose this place. It was absolutely worth it!

From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and escorted us to our table with great respect and politeness. The ambiance was romantic and elegant, perfect for a special evening.

The starters, mains, and drinks were all delicious and full of flavor—definitely worth trying. A special mention to the lovely girl who looked after us—her name was Pluto, if I remember correctly. She was incredibly attentive, checked in on us regularly (almost every two minutes!), and patiently explained the menu before taking our order. Her service really made us feel cared for.

To top it all off, the team surprised us with a plate of cake and a sweet “Happy Anniversary” message—it was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that truly made our night.

We wholeheartedly recommend Grand Pacific to all our friends and family for a romantic and unforgettable experience. Thank you for making our day so special!

We visited this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. The atmosphere was lovely and perfectly suited to the occasion, the decor is stunning, and the building itself is beautiful.

The service was decent, and the food overall was okay. However, I ordered the steak medium rare, but it seemed more on the rare side than I prefer, I would have liked it a bit more grilled. I also didn’t enjoy the dessert.
Also, despite being asked during the booking if we were celebrating a special occasion and stating it was a birthday, there was no birthday gesture when the dessert was served!
we still had an enjoyable time and appreciated the overall experience.

Came here for afternoon tea on my birthday and we had the nicest time. The decor is beautiful and opulent, the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating and the food was incredible. I would definitely recommend to anyone celebrating a special occasion. When the staff found out it was my birthday they were so lovely and wrote a message with some ice cream and it was just such a lovely addition. It was incredibly busy and despite this the staff were so friendly. Would definitely come here again- it is worth the price

If I could rate Grand Pacific higher- then I would! We had a wonderful server, Holly! The customer service is fantastic, the servers were welcoming, friendly and helpful in suggestions for food and drink! The food was absolutely phenomenal, wow! The seabass & mussels in Thai green curry was something else! I was blown away by Grand Pacific, beautiful atmosphere with great staff and fantastic food. They even suprised us with a Happy Birthday ice cream to help celebrate my mother’s birthday. Really impressed and would very highly recommend.

Lovely meal, good quality food - you can tell a lot of consideration has gone into each dish.
Mark, our waiter, was a lovely guy as well - very personable and chatty, much more than the basic pleasantries. Great cocktails as well - I recommend the Toasted Coconut Margarita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was lovely, the building and decor are beautiful and the service was friendly. Would have been nice to see nutritional info on the menu but otherwise, would highly recommend and will definitely return. A little on the pricier side: 2x mains, 1x side, 2x wine and 1x water was £80.00 (including a service fee).

I have never been to a friendlier/ respectable restaurant in my life. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with smiles and friendly staff that do everything, talk to you, take your jackets and even bring the tag to you. I am in love with this place. Food is astonishingly delicious, views/ aesthetics are wild (in a extremely good way).

Stunning interior & the food is decently priced for city centre & portion sizes are good! Service wasn’t the best as we waited around 30 minutes for someone to come to take our order despite the restaurant being only half full as it was an early dinner, but we enjoyed the food & got some nice pics! Would return for lunch/dinner.

Turned up without a reservation on a sunny Friday afternoon,  shown to a table by friendly staff . The restaurant was quiet, so we had amazing service from friendly and efficient waiting staff . The decor is very impressive. I've been here before when the building was Rosso , but I think the interior now is more elegant.  The food was delicious and nicely presented.  A lovely bottle of Amarone to accompany the meal . Price is what you would expect for an upper end restaurant in Manchester . First time in Cibo, but I will definitely be returning.

Great atmosphere. Fanatic food. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The staff were polite and attentive. The interior was fabulous. A great place to go out for a romantic date or birthday.

I always come to these guys, not even hungry but I have to go, the sushi is phenomenal and I always enjoy it, basically tears in my eyes every time I have the sushi because it’s so good, also Blaz at the Arndale stand was amazing and so lovely, the staff are always great and so lovely, makes me wish I was Australian 😝

Best sushi in the uk! I love the Bondi roll, you can’t get it anywhere else! Goes really well with the wasabi mayo which is new 🤤

Always lovely service! Had a great recommendation from a member of staff on the 10th of May 2025 at Manchester Arndale. I wish you had more choice of sushi rolls and more complex ingredients (having 2-3 types of sea products in one sushi roll and maybe Philadelphia cheese in there which is my favourite)…

Great variety of sushi. It feels like a healthy snack, or meal if getting multiple. The salmon and avocado is great. The rolls are nicely done. The staff are always great at explaining what the different sushi rolls are like.
