Me and my partners first time eating here at Nandos Brixton. I was so incredibly impressed with all the staff there ...a warm welcome from Rhianna,  Anwar and
Awell , all so friendly and had a genuine laugh with them. They were so attentive and friendly, professional.. now let's talk about the food.. I been eating in nandos for around 17 years in the uk now and anytime I try to try a new to me branch I do it.. the food here was incredible,  served hot and perfectly cooked.

Awesome atmosphere and as I said the team mentioned above were so awesome. Head office,  please recognise these great staff.

A decent nandos this one in Brixton, quick service, friendly staff. Would recommend, not the best one I've been too, a bit worn and needs a bit of TLC.

It's always a positive experience when visiting nandos generally. Service is fast,  the food tastes fresh and custom to your spice level and they still have their classics. I had a loaded fries with shredded chicken with sauces and freshly sliced onions with grilled chicken with lemon and herb seasoning. It was my first time trying the loaded fries and it was awesome. I was really impressed and couldn't finish it all.

Absolutely blown away by the staff and service by David at this branch. He was clear, attentive and positive. My visit, food and experience greatly elevated my love for NANDOS and I will surely not only return but recommend to my friends and family.

Visited last night before a gig across the road. Although fairly busy, we didn't have to wait long to be seated, and were accommodated in our request for a comfy spot despite the tables not yet being cleared. There was no cutlery available initially, so we asked when our drinks were brought out and this was swiftly replenished. Food arrived quickly and the service was very friendly. It was mentioned that they were short staffed but we felt they handled everything really well under the circumstances and didn't let the situation get them down, so huge props to the team for that!

My only disappointment was the mac & cheese being out of stock. 😢

We have 385 restaurants, 72 of which serve only Halal chicken and are signposted both in the restaurant and online. A small proportion of chicken sold in our other restaurants may also be Halal.

Food was delicious! I ate their padron peppers, squid popcorn, Ox cheek bites, fried chicken, pork belly and corn bread. ALL were delicious. The corn bread was amazing! Better than what I ate in Texas and it worked so well with the savoury dishes. Decor is stunning. I'd come back 100%

Had about 12 people booked for my nieces birthday and had a lovely evening. Our Waitress Summer was amazing, treated and welcomed us with a lovely smile and excellent practice in patient's, the kind of experiance I expect from any professional establishment. Had the pop corn squid and the seared salmon with mango. The squid was cooked well and flavoursome with a healthy portion as a starter. The salmon was good, cooked well and flaked off nicely. The only negative I would say to the experiance was the music could have been a tad quieter just for the sake of conversation but otherwise no problems at all.

Cracking venue for music. The staff were playful & friendly. Great service. Didn't eat so can't comment, though the restaurant looked clean & tidy with some cosy booths. Their house band, the KayBees were absolutely fantastic in their rendition of the whole Wish you were here album by Pink Floyd

My fourth time going here and once again did not disappoint ! They  have a wide range of food options from salmon to burgers and steak all very nice. The cocktail menu is also very extensive with a range of classics to signatures. Overall a lovely experience and will be definitely going back soon!

Came here with my boyfriend for his birthday and the staff were so amazing and attentive. The crispy chicken sandwich was so nice and then they came out and gave my boyfriend donuts and made our day so special. Definitely will come again !!!

Our chicken is halal and can be cooked separately from all non halal options on request.

After 10 years of delicious street food, Baba G’s have finally opened a sit down restaurant! And we did not regret visiting at all. Our biggest recommendation would be the Pachos (poppadom nachos) which I am definitely recreating at home! The pieces of poppadoms were smothered in a number of delicious chutneys and topped with onions and chillis. I then ordered the Nagha Burger while Naimul got the Lamb Jalfrezi Burger. The Nagha Burger was definitely the winner amongst the two and left us craving more 🤤 The Lamb Jalfrezi could have been a little more juicy, but it was definitely unusual. The masala fries were also really good 👌🏽

Finally reunited with @babagsfood for the SAUCY & flavoursome Paneer Saag burger 🤩🤩 Just look at her!!

Two large pieces of paneer, saag, an onion bhaji, raita, mango chutney & tamarind sauce, between a black seed brioche bun 🍔 Top tip: ask them to hold off on the cabbage because if you bite on an end bit, it’s ruins the taste 👀 

Overall: delicious & messy as hell 😅 Tissues are needed and a fork for when it collapses. Please note that everything on the menu is حلال ☑️

We've ordered them as take away and the food is excellent. They have the best home delivery chips. No idea how they do it but they arrive crispy. Not a single soggy one. And the spicy salt they use is incredible. The 1st time I ordered a double lamb burger and unfortunately even though it tasted very good it was very dry. 2nd time I ordered the pannier one and Oh my God!! Incredible burger. Could not recommend them more.

The reason I’m giving this a 4 and not a 3 is because I might just not enjoy lamb as much as I thought I did.

The lamb burger isn’t that bad. It’s fairly juicy and quite filling. However the spices on the burger I didn’t really enjoy. It doesn’t feel like you’re eating a burger, but rather something else entirely.

The loaded fries were nice and crispy, chicken on top was kind of dry.

Overall - it’s a nice little halal food shack in the middle of that Brixton pop up area. Would I go again? Not really.

It's small stall in Brixton Village area and they deliver! Used them for 2good2go service and was given great portion.

I had Crazy Lamb burger and chips. Burger was juicy and fresh, never had lamb burger before, meat could have used a bit more spices but overall was very good, great sauce too.

Chips were excellent, not soggy and all, all of them crunchy. Give them a try, they deserve it.

Went on a quiet rainy Sunday afternoon in November and they were one of the very few that were open. Staff were friendly and good was good. Had the double naga burger and masala fries. Burger was great. Fries were average.

Nice food but small portions. £4 for these chips. The menu picture has them actually cooked (!) and in a much larger portion. False advertising. The chips were floppy - not hard to follow the recipe and cook them for the right amount of time. Disappointed

Rudie's Jerk Shack (Brixton Village)

My daughter took me here for my Mother’s Day dinner (after a mani pedi). We were met by a nice young gentleman who seated us, Gabrielle, then looked after throughout by Tia. She was lovely. I loved the way she was true to herself and didn’t code switch because she was at work.

We had starters of ackee and Saltfish for one and chicken wings for the other. We chose the sweet glaze on the wings and it was divine. Starters were closely followed by a rum punch and my cocktail - Jamaica Nice, it definitely was.

Our main was shrimp rundown and I had curry goat and rice with a side of plantain. My portion was enough to take some home for a snack before bed.

The ambiance was great, the music just the right volume and I had a great time swinging to soul hits from back in the day. If you are looking for a sit down meal that’s not too formal I would highly recommend this place.

Expected quite more from this place but unfortunately it was just average. I got the jerk chicken platter, very fairly priced, but the chicken meat was pretty tough and it didn't taste that great. The "salad" it's served with is just chopped iceberg I think? The side of fries and the wings were good, but nothing special.

Some pros: The prices are really decent. Friendly staff too. It is quite small but it's nicely decorated.

It's not a bad place, but I don't think I'd come back.

The best place to experience true authentic Jamaican cuisines! We had the Chicken Jerk and steamed fish! Fantastic service accompanied by great music! What an experience! Highly recommend! Rum is a must too  🇯🇲 ONE LOVE

No saltfish in the fritters just full of air.
Chicken had massive hairs on it.
Gravy was watery.
Tried to get a refund via Deliveroo and they would not honour it. I called the store myself and spoke to Mo the Manager he agreed to honour a refund. Deliveroo called the store and Mo said he would not honour the refund.

Disgusting food.
Disgusting service.
If I was not sick I would have returned the food myself - this is totally unacceptable and this is the first and last time I will eat from this establishment.

Having worked in the food industry for 8 years specifically Caribbean this is the worst takeaway I have had to date.

Delicious Jamaican lunch! Juicy jerk chicken and abundant vegan options. I recommend the cocktails too!

Loved this today.  Great food and drinks in a cool venue with friendly staff. Recommend to all.

Before watching “The Play That Goes Wrong” at the Duchess Theatre, my husband and I decided to have a quick dinner. The restaurant was just about filled. Our experience was: good service, good food, and good prices.  We ordered their burgers. Very good! Their burgers are like what we call “Smash burgers” in the USA. Yum!
Their fries (chips) were also excellent. They use a Rosemary-salt on top of the fries. It really adds a lot of good flavor.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ozzy was such a lovely and warm host, he was kind and conversational and made our night. Thanks for a great experience Honest Burgers, nice to see you are employing the best ✅✅

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised with the food here . When I first saw the burger , it look slightly burnt to me and the wings looked unimpressive. However , it goes to show that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover as both were nice , the wings were juicier than they looked and the white sauce on top  was delicious . The burger was also incredibly juicy and packed with so much flavour with all the flavours from the beef patty , onions, bacon and brown butter Mayo complimenting each other very well. I read another persons review who recommended the beef and bacon gravy and I have to say that it is an absolute game changer and that I highly suggest you get it too. Overall , it was a great takeaway.

Went here for the first time in 5 years expecting it to not live up to my expectations. But to put it simply, they’ve only improved. I got the chilli burger with rosemary fries. The burger’s ingredients worked so well together and the rosemary fries have been a staple of this place throughout the past 10 years. It also came fairly quickly so I was overall incredibly happy with the experience. Thank you for reading.

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.

12 of our restaurants (full list below) offer a halal Buffalo fried chicken burger. We will be rolling this out to more restaurants in the near future so watch this space. Went here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our time. My favourite thing was definitely the appetiser Èkuru; egusi and black eyed bean cake. Good combination with the scotch bonnet sauce, wished there were more sauce tho!

For mains, we got both the Frejon and Cajou. Both were really good but we personally preferred the Frejon just a bit more! We also shared the jollof side set between us.

Lastly the tigernut cake was very lovely! Not too sweet and you can taste the spice in the cakes. We also ordered the special dessert which was also lovely. Service was great and the dishes were explained by our servers

This establishment was exceptional. My sister made a reservation months in advance, and I am delighted that she did so, as the cuisine was remarkable. The wine selection is extensive and imbues each glass with a captivating narrative. This was my initial experience at a high-end dining establishment, and it exceeded all expectations. This culinary experience, presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner, offers a delightful exploration of West African cuisine.

A magical experience for my birthday.

The lamb was amazing!
Also the wine pairing, a really great match!

This was our second time dining at Chishuru and it will not be our last. The flavors, service and ambiance were spot on. An entirely new menu carried with it an exciting array dishes that were perfectly executed with each bit bursting with flavor and texture. Excited to see what the future holds for this team and look forward to our next visit.

An interesting experience of exotic flavours.   Service was attentive. The tasting menu went smoothly. Fair value for money in central London. Fish portion was tiny, but before I went for dinner, I wasn't hungry due to the summer heat of London, so I suppose it was marginally OK in terms of tasting menu design and portions.

Other Side Fried

Burgers absolutely next-level delicious. Big mustard seeds in the sauce are really innovative and tasty. The owner gave me the wrong meal but was very understanding about it when I returned shortly after so tops marks for customer service!

Took my son here after a gig at the O2 after he tried to go to a Morley’s - and he had no regrets. The service was fast and friendly, the service swift and efficient - and the chicken wings? Outstanding. Way better than the more usual fast food places. He also some some cheesy tater tot style potatoes - amazing! So - well worth a visit!

I ordered the classic fried chicken burger for just u see £7 with no sides. The burger was decent, quite enjoyable but not really worth £7.. or £6.95.
There was indoor and outdoor seating however the surfaces didn’t seem like they were being cleaned after every use.

Best place for chicken 🐔 burgers 🍔 full stop. Unfortunately it's not the nicest place to sit down and eat as they only have about 4 uncomfortable stools next to the window, if you can over look that then I would definitely recommend you try this place. Price is slightly high for a chicken burger and chips 🍟 but it's really nice and filling so can't complain too much. I will definitely return here one day. Very friendly staff and bathroom is ok too.

Live for this type of food now and again. Delivery could be better, sometimes cold chips and squashed burger but decent.
6/1/23: haven't been a while. Ordered dirty fries and got normal. They owe me £2.50!

All of our chicken is Halal. We also serve Bacon but use a separate grill/utensils to prepare the chicken.
