SHAKEDOWN

We have visited Shakedown on quite a few occasions, as the menu has depth and the  quality is excellent. In my opinion, it is  probably one of the best places in Manchester to enjoy a burger.
The burgers and fries were very palatable and of a high standard. I presume this is reflective in the price.
The milkshakes are delicious, and in particular, cookies and cream are a family favourite.
As it is quite near our residence. we visit a couple of times a month to get our burger-fix.
I would highly recommend this establishment.

Ordered the zesty chicken burger, the beefed up burger, mozzarella sticks and the BBQ chicken wings.

The chicken was really well cooked, nice and juicy. The buffalo sauce which I ordered in addition to the zesty burger was particularly amazing and definitely needed as it seemed like they added a slightly different, more diluted sauce to the burger. It's also an amazing dip for anything else on the menu like chips.

The beefed up burger was also really well made and juicy. Good amount of cheese to sauce ratio.

Took quite a while for them to make it but I'm glad it was freshly made (and you could tell).

recently visited Shake Down in Manchester and was blown away by the entire experience. The presentation of the food was spot on – the chicken burger looked as good as it tasted, perfectly golden with fresh toppings layered neatly. The chips were served in a way that showed care, with the skin-on fries stacked just right, making them feel a bit special even before the first bite. Every item was clearly plated with attention to detail, which added to the enjoyment.

The sauces were served in a tidy, generous portion, making them easy to dip without mess. It’s little touches like this that make a difference, and you can tell the staff take pride in what they serve.

If you’re in Manchester, definitely stop by Shake Down. Whether it’s a burger, dessert, or milkshake, the presentation and taste are top-notch, making this place an absolute gem.

I happened to pop in here to grab a chicken wrap for breaking my Ramadan fast. Without me even mentioning I was fasting, they left some beautiful medjool dates and a free water bottle with my food in order to break the fast.
Honestly, such a nice touch and it was greatly appreciated!
Great customer service is defined by going above and beyond what is expected and making an extra effort to genuinely serve your customers.
Overall brilliant service and it’s always nice and clean in the shop which is another positive! 😄

Tried the American fried burger; It was perfectly sauced from the outside so that the large chicken fillet was not dry. Overall tasty but as far as buttermilk chicken fillets are it is lacking the crunch and juicy interior. Also the Cajun fries were poor. Still satisfied nevertheless
