We were looking for tasty scones. We found delicious ones! The perfect place for your afternoon tea. The Alice in Wonderland ambient is cute, not kitschy at all. The staff is very polite and friendly. A stop worth.

Magical, very British tea time experience in a beautifully decorated environment. What a lovely place we came across accidently on our walk! We had time till our bus departure and this was just the perfect spot to stop. Staff members are helpful and really friendly.

My wife and I decided to check this place out as it had a good write-up As you approach this impressive old looking building, you start to see the theme of the place, and it runs throughout the building Alice in Wonderland . As you sit down, you are given the menu . For the afternoon tea section, there are 6 different afternoon teas to choose from starting from 42 pounds per person down to 11.50 per person. but of course, the further down you go, the less you get, so there is something for everyone depending on your budget. But of course you don't have to have afternoon tea it does cakes & meals as well . The staff are friendly and welcoming and don't forget to tell them about any dietary requirements or allergies as they are not mind readers but most will ask you . It's on sackville Street in the gay village . It's well worth a visit

What a lovely interior this place has. We had the Hatters afternoon tea - it was tasty and the just about the right amount of food - you have a nice selection of teas as well as a decaf option. They even serve brunch too like smashed avocado, eggs and salmon etc. The staff are fabulous and really went out of their way to find space for me when I needed to come in earlier. I live in Liverpool but will be coming back again to try the brunch and more afternoon tea. My mum loved the place too - she said it felt magical!

Fantastic place for a traditional English afternoon tea with an Alice in Wonderland-inspired atmosphere. The staff was phenomenally friendly and gently helped us clarify the menu and offered great recommendations. I had the Queen's Afternoon Tea and all the food was amazing —especially the scones, which were very fresh and warm. The Afternoon Darjeeling was delicious, with floral and fruity flavors. I strongly recommend this venue and will definitely revisit if I'm in Manchester again.
