BRD Fried Chicken

Probably the best fried chicken I’ve had. Great price point for the standard burger and fries. The fries weren’t that great. Buns were fresh but might have been better served slightly toasted. Atmosphere is not bad. Guy at till was a tad moody but I guess not every day can be your best. Service was a bit slow even though they weren’t busy but my food was cooked to order and it was definitely worth the wait. Best fried chicken in town deserves a solid 5 stars.

The staff were very okay, but not that friendly. We had to wait a while for the food to be prepared, even though they weren't that busy. I would recommend ordering over the phone in advance to save waiting around.

The food was okay I guess —we ordered some burger meals and a chicken strip meal with chips. Just a heads-up, the chicken is extremely spicy, so only order spicy if you can handle the heat, or it will burn your mouth and face off... Unnecessarily spicy.

The décor looked like it needed updating. The drinking water tap didn't work, and the bins needed emptying. The floors were messy with bits of food, and the tables needed a good clean. I can see why the local authority (national food agency) has only scored them 2 out of 5 points.

Reasonably priced food. The good thing was that they were HMC accredited.

To be honest, I don't think I will come here again until the level of customer service improves and more attention is given to the level of hygiene in the customer area.

Edit: recently the burgers have had absolutely huge fillets in them. Really pleased that portion sizes aren't reducing unlike others. The price as it is is very good for what you get and probably the best in Manchester

Got the spicy burger meal , which wasn’t bad but the burger definitely wasn’t fresh also overly spicy and the fries were cold.

Waited about 30 mins for a single burger meal the shop wasn’t even that busy , no disrespect but the two brothers didn’t know what they were doing.

Place has potential, get more staff in and a faster service you’ll smash it (fresher food aswell)

Might return but won’t be recommending!
