I visited Chakra Café London with my friends for breakfast, and we had such a great experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that made it perfect for a morning catch-up. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.

The breakfast itself was delicious, fresh ingredients, generous portions, and beautifully presented dishes. We especially loved the variety on the menu, with options for everyone. The coffee and tea were excellent too, rich and smooth, just the right way to start the day.

Overall, it was a lovely spot for breakfast, and we all left happy and satisfied. Highly recommend visiting Chakra Café if you’re looking for a cosy place with great food and great service!

Chakra is a lovely boutique Turkish breakfast spot located in the Haringey area. It’s the perfect place to happily host family and friends. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can really feel the care and attention that the team puts into everything they do. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavors. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine and cozy Turkish breakfast experience!

This is my third time coming and it’s still fabulous. The food and presentation is perfect, the ambience is so calm and welcoming and the aesthetic of the cafe is gorgeous. Food came out quickly and was delicious - perfect for 3 people and we took the rest home. Hospitality and service was, as always, 10/10. Can’t wait to come back again!

Tried their supreme brunch menu for 4 and it was perfect! The varieties were incredible - jams, Nutella, honey, at least 4 to 5 varieties of cheese, halloumi, filo pastries, much more and a big basket of bread. Also included two types of egg dishes.
The quantity was just enough for 5 people. We added an extra bucket of bread for about £3.50. Everything tasted fab! Would definitely recommend!!!  The ambience and interior is just wonderful!

Went there today, back of the cafe was empty, still the service was slow! Waitress didn't have a clue about their own menu. We asked for water, never arrived, had to ask again and we got it just before we left. Once we ordered we were told we couldn't change poached eggs to fried because the chef doesn't like to change it - never heard of such a thing?? Ordered apple juice, received orange. Food tasted ok but not a good  experience and not worth the money we spent.

Food: Although we’re not fans of Turkish and Mediterranean food, we decided to give Tarshish a try. The Crispy Squid was cooked well and had just enough lemon juice. The Bulgur Rice had a kick, and the Chips were delicious. However, the actual mains, (we ordered the Adana Shish and Iskender Kebab) were both a little bit bland, and the Mac and Cheese was not amazing either; not sure why we could taste cinammon with each bite 🤔
Service: It was really busy on the evening we went therefore it took a while to catch the attention of the waiters.

I'm often asked for recommendation for a celebration meal for a birthday or special occasion and I think @tarshishlondon is a place that's makes a good choice. Located near Wood Green Station and with a car park available, the restaurant has a full halal menu and nice vibe and settings.⠀

The food is best described as Turkish and very meat heavy menu, with little options if you are a vegan! I had a selection of starters, some classic Turkish dishes and some with a little twist. ⠀

I got 3 main courses, I decided to get the mix grill,  being objective with just the food, it was just middle of the road in terms of taste. It consisted of chicken and lamb shish with a juicy anada kofeta Kebab, at just under £24 I expected better flavours, especially from the Andana kebab. I actually took most of it home and eat it the next day and surprisingly tasted much better. ⠀

Lamb saddle £22, is something I don't see much on menus, it was cooked to a perfect medium, but I didn't get much flavour from the lamb. It was meant to have harrisa but I didn't get much from it. ⠀

A massive let down was the chicken lollipop, a dish that had the makings of something special but just didn't work, the chicken was cooked well, tender and juicy, it just a lacked in the flavour department, very under seasoned and the mushroom sauce lacked any flavour at all. ⠀

Overall, in my experience, restaurants that have a really good atmosphere and environment tend to have food that doesn't match the standards of the surroundings. This in my opinion is one such place. I'm not saying the food was bad, its just I think the prices are more for the experience rather than food quality.⠀

So yeah, great for a girly night out or as my wife says a good reason to put fake lashes on. Dark moody lighting, live dj, good service and overall nice atmosphere. ⠀

I was recently invited to @tarshishlondon to try their revamped menu from my last visit a couple of years ago. I could not WAIT & was certainly not disappointed❣️

We ordered the following:
✨ Spicy chicken bao buns
✨ Harissa king prawns w/ wilted spinach
✨ Beef sliders 
✨ Lamb beyti w/ bulgar pilav
✨ Pan fried sea bass
✨ Mac & cheese
✨ Delicious refreshing mocktails 

Each & every item was so satisfyingly tasty 🤤 My only feedback would be that the beef sliders were slightly overdone and not the *melt in your mouth* type of meat I was expecting… perhaps because I’m comparing to pulled beef sliders I have had elsewhere, as opposed to the burger type 🍔

I 100% cannot wait to go back 😍 I’m so gutted that there was no room left for dessert, which I will certainly be eyeing up next time 👀 

The service was excellent with really attentive waiting staff. All of the food served here is حلال. You can dine Al Fresco when the weather is nice & there is a private room available to hire for special events 🥳

Asian cuisine at a Turkish restaurant? That's exactly what @tarshishlondon has launched with their new Asian inspired menu, and I have to say, it was darn good.

@tarshishlondon is aesthetically gorgeous and serves contemporary and elegantly presented Turkish cuisine.

Here are the items we tried from the Asian Menu:

My one criticism is that ONLY on this occasion, the service was not as good as what I'm use to when visiting @tarshishlondon. Think we just got unlucky this time round.

Nonetheless, whether you like or dislike Turkish food,  @tarshishlondon is still a good option, especially now that they have a New Asian menu.

Tarshish

An upscale Turkish restaurant run by the owners of Gokyuzu. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cosy décor and a pleasant vibe. Service was friendly and welcoming. The food was decent, nothing extraordinary, but enjoyable nonetheless. Prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. Would I go back? Probably yes, only if they add some unique Turkish dishes to the menu.

Very good restaurant. Perfect for birthday dinners with friends and loved ones. Not busy on a Monday night, practically had the restaurant to ourselves. Atmosphere was nice, food was nice and the service was amazing. Had our drinks served by Raj and he was a fabulous bartender. His cocktails were perfectly sweet and strong. Will definitely be coming back here!

Had a takeaway. Shish cops with rich. The food was lovely, but no extra pitta was supplied. The salad was nice and chips were good.
Rcommeded is you can do stairs and pay £30.00 foe a kebab.

I went here for my friend's engagement dinner and was very impressed. The menu had a decent selection to choose from and was very high quality. I really enjoyed the butterfly sea bass. The drink menu was good though a bit limited but the host Raj made me a special rum.

The venue was high standards and very comfortable.

Had full experience this afternoon with my family at Tarshish. The food was really good and we were served by Tamas who made sure that all was good at our table. We then  stopped by the bar and was served by Raj who made us speciality cocktails which tasted really good. Overall, a really nice experience will continue to come here.

I’ve been here several times and it never fails to surprise me. Food is always hot and fresh, however the flavour profile is often not consistent. Sometimes too salty sometimes too bland. But normally it’s quite nice with generous portions and beautiful presentation.

KERVAN - what a nice place looks so beautiful service was great. The food was delicious for a Turkish food. I would definitely recommend this place. The meat was so tasty tender I just loved it. Would I recommend it. Yes I would.

It is quite pricey just to let you know

No idea what it’s called (the waitress juggled the dishes names but I still had no idea), asked for a takeaway of lamb with veg & rice that I’ve noticed behind the window while walking by. The food deliciously soft, great salad, served by a blonde ponytail waitress- extremely attentive, quick & polite- thank you!

Pretty good place to come for nice food and an evening out. Ive been to other chains of these in the past and always had a nice time. Food isnt the best but still nice and atmosphere is good. Will be back again.

Recently went for a family get-together meal. The service was great, the food was fresh and hot, and the meat was tender. Everyone enjoyed the meal. We ordered four jumbo platters but couldn’t finish them all. If you're driving it’s really convenient to park in the Cineworld Wood Green car park, It’s just a 1-2 minute walk from there. Highly recommended if you haven’t tried this place. The atmosphere is very pleasant and I found the tables and chairs are of great quality too.

I’ve been using Smart Buns for a while now and they never disappoint. The texture is soft, the taste is just right, and they work wonderfully for burgers and shakes on a keto diet. But what really stands out is the customer service — fast delivery, clear communication, and they even followed up to make sure I was satisfied. It's rare to find a company that gets both the product and the service so right. Highly recommended!

Smart Bun Burger is excellent! The burgers are fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly. The buns are soft and hold everything together really well. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. I enjoyed every bite and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Le Chamarel

Small Mauritian food cafe. Perfect authentic Mauritian food. Highly recommend the Dhal Puri with Sauce! I’m half Mauritian and lived there for half my childhood and my wife is Mauritian, so we’re in a good place to judge.

This is the real deal! Stunning food, wish I could come more often and eat double every time! We will be back as soon as we can get that side of the country again. Most of the vegetarian food is vegan, they were understanding when I asked what was vegan.

Whether you’re Mauritian or simply curious to explore Mauritian cuisine, Le Chamarel is an absolute must-visit! The service is warm and attentive, and the food? Fresh, flavourful, and as close to authentic Mauritian taste as you can get outside the island. The noodles were a standout, absolutely delicious.

A special shoutout to the head chef, Faz — such a great guy! He was incredibly welcoming and made us feel like we were right back in Mauritius. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a true taste of Mauritius!

Absolutely adored this little hidden gem! Family owned restaurant, very chill and relaxed atmosphere, and sweet customer service by all staff. I felt going to the house of someone getting homemade food... it was truly a sweet experience! Everyone was very nice and the food was delicious! First time in my life I've tried Mauritian food and loved it, I was impressed by the Dhaal and really enjoyed the Fried Nuddles... will be back! I also liked the Pear soft drink 😋 I also bought extra Dhaal after eating my meal to get it home for tomorrow 😃

One of the best Mauritian Restaurant in London. I was very satisfied with the starters (Catlesse & Gateau Arouille) and main dish (Bol Renverse), I had from Le Chamarel. Will definitely go there again. I recommend Le Chamarel Restaurant.

We have halal food options from brunch menu and all our chicken and beef dishes from the main menu are halal.
