It’s rare to find a nice, inviting cafe that does a halal full english (I’m really NOT a fan of local greasy cafes that pile a load of oily chips on with a huge tasteless breakfast 🙄) so when we heard Querky Cafe was halal we just had to visit! Of course, we ordered the Full English (a smaller version with one of everything rather than two). It was as yummy as a homemade breakfast, especially the button mushrooms! We also ordered the French Toast, but after trying that at Christopher’s and Half Cup it just seemed a little average. Nonetheless, we would definitely return to try the pancakes and avacado on toast!

Always a nice experience when visiting this place the staff always greet me with a smile and the food is always served beautifully and tastes amazing.
Never disappoints.
My whole family loves eating here.

Querky Cafe truly stands out for its exceptional service and thoughtfully curated menu. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that instantly makes you feel welcome.

The food is a real highlight—everything is freshly cooked and bursting with flavor. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or looking for halal options, Querky Cafe offers an impressive variety that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. It's clear that they’ve put real care into creating dishes that cater to diverse dietary needs without compromising on taste or creativity.

We are currently working our way through the vegan options and have not been disappointed! The lemon and mint mocktail is highly recommend as is the cinnamon swirl vegan option with a perfectly crafted coffee, made to perfection.

Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates quality food, inclusive options, and a friendly atmosphere. This spot is a real gem!

The food here was not great at all, as a group we had a desi breakfast, chicken quesadilla, french toast and egg roll. The only thing that was good was the chicken quesadilla. The egg was bland and I’ve had better chickpea curry and butter chicken elsewhere. The service and staff though were really nice and friendly even the cooks were very hospitable. The atmosphere was very warm and on a rainy day like when we came it was definitely a nice change of environment.

Today I went for breakfast at this café with my family (we were four people).

I ordered avocado on toast with scrambled eggs. After eating, I noticed that the bread had visible mold on the back. It was honestly disgusting and completely ruined the experience.

The staff offered a refund for my dish only. Unfortunately, we didn’t check the bread served with the other meals (Full English breakfasts), which makes me worry about the overall food quality.

Very disappointing experience.

Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo as I noticed the mold only at the end, and I was too shocked in that moment and I went straight to the staff.

It’s not my first time eating there and I can admit that the service wasn’t great previously.. however, my last 2 visits were absolutely different, I even spoke with the manager who served me and they definitely improved it. The food is great, affordable and tasty. Goo£ coffee and lovely staff. Plus they accept cash! Thank you and I will see you very soon again!

Franzos Walthamstow

Taste as good as nandos and cheaper, the food is amazing. The service is great and not loud or busy. It’s clean , it’s a hidden gem.

Overall a positive experience with the family.  The food took slightly longer to arrive than anticipated but the enjoyment of the meals made up for it.
The food which comprised of chicken wings & fries, chicken tikka burger (with sides), piri piri chicken burger (with sides), grilled fish burger with sides & a lamb kebab wrap was well devoured. If you love fish with a strong fishy taste, you’ll enjoy the fish burger, otherwise I would say, remain with the safe meat options.
Desserts of Oreo and Ferero roche cookie dough ended the experience for us on a high. Well worth a visit.

I went there today 24th April I'm a regular customer but the service is getting worse every time I go . Today we ordered our food and after 30 minutes we got our starters one after the other then two mains came I was hungry and started on the starters I waited an hour before my burger came and it was a disaster. It fell apart as I picked up and it tasted raw so I gave it back to be cooked again. When it came it looked even worse than before and it just all fell out as i tried to bite into that was it I just packed up and left. I won't be going there in a.hurry. also the bathroom was not a clean place so I had to ask them to go mop up before someone slipped and fell. What a rubbish experience on a Friday night. Hmmmm !!

I enjoy Franzo's food. thought I'd check out the one in Walthamstow.

Nice clean restaurant lots of space service was alright nothing too special.

It's a shame this branch is so far out from the main Walthamstow central area or would be more busy. Its in a quiet ish area.

UPDATE: I forgot to mention the chicken strips were basically just chicken breast cut up. They could have been cut in a way where it wasn't flat. Also I did order chilli cheese bites and can't lie they just tasted they were store bought from frozen and heated up which is why I gave the food rating a 3.

We are HMC approved. This means our entire menu and supply-chain is certified Halal according to HMC standards. No traces of pork or alcohol in the store.
