KFC Seven Kings - High Street

Tiny piece of chicken. Hash brown was bigger than chicken fillet. I got zinger tower meal. Not worth £10. Wouldn’t come back. I was craving KFC and this just wasn’t the same.

incomplete orders, cold food, poor food quality, After long time we try again but same bad experience…. Burger cold harder flit is too old and also no proper serve like no mayonnaise or lettuce I don’t understand we are paying money for good food why this people ignored us anyway no more KFC

Went to seven kings KFC this evening. When  I open my food from the bag I was shocked. The chicken it’s looks like I brought from a normal chicken shop. The Chicken wasn’t crispy. Food Quality 0/10. 😔
I visited 50+ KFC store and never had this kind of food quality. 🙏
When I came to give a review, I was shocked. There are so many bad review for seven kings KFC.
My bad to went this store. I know it will not going to change, but for other customers who loves KFC they will avoid untill they are not making Change their quality. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The wings were not well cooked

Worst experience, its 2nd time , I bought something from here, it’s taste like home made chicken , soggy , the chicken was smelly, the fries were also soggy every thing need be crispy but taste something different, extra salty, I complained about the chicken , their reply was it depends on the cook , what?
Need to be take serious consideration about the store . I don’t recommend anyone to visit the store, you can spend money on any other local store that will be cheap

HFA has certified KFC's products in these stores, and the store environments, as halal. KFC has also ensured that the halal certified chicken would also meet the rigorous animal welfare standards employed in the UK, and has consulted leading animal welfare groups about this. KFC insists that all poultry is stunned before slaughter. HFA allows the use of a technique called 'stun-to-stun' - a pain free process that makes the animal insensible to pain and suffering. A verse is also recited from the Quran at the point of slaughter by an appropriate person and the poultry will not come into contact with non-halal meat at any point in the supply chain. KFC only buys high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, and this will not change.

First-time visit and it was great 👌
We went on a family outing to celebrate a relative’s first anniversary. It was a Saturday evening, just as the restaurant opened, and we had made an earlier reservation for the group.
The service was excellent, from a warm welcome, to accommodating our request for seating that allowed space for a baby in a pram. The waiters were especially friendly with our two young children and even gave them a little treat (boxed brownies) at the end of the meal.
We ordered a variety of starters including poppadoms, paneer, prawns, and chaat. The prawns were fantastic, well cooked with just the right amount of spice for a little kick. The only small criticism was that the poppadoms could have been served with larger portions of dips.
For the mains, we had steak, a mixed grill, curries, and burgers for the kids. Everything was cooked well, full of flavour, and enjoyed by all. The chops and steak in particular received rave reviews.
To finish, we ordered a selection of desserts along with kharak chai. The desserts were excellent, rich in flavour, with the right texture and moisture. The chai was smooth, flavoursome, and perfectly sweetened.
Before leaving, it was time for prayers, and once again the staff accommodated us by providing a prayer area and prayer mats.

Overall, the experience was outstanding. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a clean, spacious setting makes this restaurant ideal not just for casual meals, but also for celebrating special occasions. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be going back to try more of the dishes we didn’t get to sample this time.

First time coming here and it was to celebrate my brother's birthday. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The decor is amazing and the place is very clean. The food was really nice. Mocktail was amazing! Loved the dessert too. Would definitely recommend.

First time here with family and we all loved it. We came when it was rather quiet. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. All our courses was delicious. The restaurant was clean. Parking available in a nearby carpark free in the evening. Praying facilities also available. Staff also gave free brownie favour to the kids. Will return again.

A lovely looking restaurant on a busy High Street, but with ample parking nearby (pass the restaurant, type in Isaac Newton academy).

Our waiter Azi was exemplary, recommended dishes and was on hand at every course. When the food arrived, it looked lovely and tasted great! The lamp chops and chilli paneer where great!!

I was a little disappointed that our briyani's won't as amazing, but still tasted good and the portion size was reasonable (enough to per portion for one adult and a child i would say)

On a final note, make sure you get the cheesecake and try the mocktails, I had a blue pineapple mohito and it was superb!!

There is also a prayer space allocated at the front of the restaurant.

went for a birthday dinner - would definitely recommend the chops, the cheesecake, the samosa chaat, and the buttered naans, they were the standouts ! their mocktails were lovely as well, my family really liked the pina coladas.

there’s free parking near the back in the academy in the evenings, and the interior of the restaurant is lovely for gatherings !

they did forget one of the dishes we ordered and a drink, so we had to cancel one item off the menu - but they were quite quick with their service otherwise

Normally my favourite night time food place to order - quick and fresh - but recently last few times ordered food has been very disappointing
Just ordered my usual chips nuggets and Algerian double - while the burger was fine the chips absolutely disgusting - probably triple fried or gave me old reused chips - nuggets also - felt like biting on drenched oil ewww. Im sorry but wont be ordering again ! Management conatct me and make things right!

I got an american smash beef burger. Absolutely rubbish. Have a look at the photos for yourself. If i could i would rate the meal 0 stars. The beef was non existent, i even had someone ask me if i got a doner burger with how thin the beef was. I could literally only taste the bun. It was so bloody dry. They took half an hour to make my order and staff were not nice and welcoming. Only good thing was the drink.

I ordered the Monster Pit Meal expecting something substantial given the price, but I was extremely disappointed with the quantity. The meal included a choice of burger or wrap, fried chicken monster fries, double jointed wings, 3x chili cheese bites, and a drink, yet the portions were embarrassingly small. For what it cost, this was far from worth it.

On top of that, there was nothing special about the food at all. I chose the BBQ burger option, expecting the whole chicken to be coated in BBQ sauce, but all I got was a tiny squirt of sauce on top. The loaded fries were the biggest disappointment—I can’t even begin to describe how bad they were; just look at the pictures. The only decent item in the whole meal was the chili cheese bites.

Overall, an overpriced and underwhelming experience. I won’t be returning.

I visited Pitstop on a break at work and we decided to stop at Pitstop. They had a good deal on 7.49 for any burger with chips and a drink.

I ordered some tenders on the side with bbq sauce. Food was nice but I was not expecting the spice level. I dont mind spicy food when Im expecting it but this caught me off guard.

Overall nice food decent price.

Food was good, but the drinks were really bad.
They give their own dispensed drinks but they cheap out on the actual cup and lid and give them in a paper bag that breaks.

I put the drinks in my car and they spilled everywhere. This is the third time it’s happened, even if I put the drinks in the cup holder they still spill.

They charge more than an average shop for their food so you would expect higher quality. Very disappointed.

I won’t be buying from here again mainly because of the drinks, I had to deep clean my mat from the spillage.

Everything on our menu is Halal. We are HMC certified, the certificate is in the window.

In general the food was good, some dishes worked well and some need work. My favourite items were the Chill Panner, crispy texture in a tasty sauce. The lamb Biryani was enjoyable and had good portions of lamb, it was a bit sticky in texture but I like it like that and the flavours were balanced and tasty. 

The butter chicken had velvety smooth sauce and was really tasty, with perfectly cooked chicken and sauce with good depth in flavour. The lamb shank also had a rich and balanced sauce and the lamb feel apart with no effort at all. 

The lamb chops however were over cooked, which meant it was tough and chewy. If I was a paying customer I would of sent that back, I could only sample one bite, I didn't like the taste of the sticky sauce either. 

They did serve me a 🥑 chaat that was rotten, that could pass with a btec food blogger but I clocked that straight away. Sadly for my wife she was the victim of soggy nasty avocado. They did take it away and bring me a new one, but it came at the end of the meal so I took it home. The new one with fresh avocado was actually delicious. It's a shame they got it wrong the first time. 

Drinks and food came with a somewhat forced dry ice show for the table, but I'll take anything that will get me the likes. Drinks were okay, I didn't like the Elderflower it was bitter but the ocean blue was nice. 

Finished the meal with a average freakshake but the chocolate cake wasn't too bad. 

Service was good and overall this is a decent place to check out. It's more casual lunch/dinner than anything fancy, but there's there's a free car park on site. 

Alcohol is served. All food is halal with certification available. My meal was complimentary.

Central Restaurant and Lounge

We arrived around 7:30pm on a Saturday, and although it had been a while since I’d visited a lounge, this one truly impressed. The atmosphere was calm and inviting when we walked in. The staff greeted us warmly, handed us the menus, and guided us to our table with ease.

We ordered the Savacco Passionova shisha, which had great longevity and smooth flavour. For food, we went all in:

Punjabi Samosa Chaat – rich, tangy, and perfectly spiced

Sticky Lamb Chops – absolutely phenomenal, a solid 10/10

Chilli Chicken Fries – fiery, bold, and packed with flavour

Lamb Biryani – deeply aromatic and satisfying, topped with a delicious naan

We asked for everything to be spicy, and they nailed it. Each dish delivered on taste and heat without compromising on quality. As the evening progressed, the lounge filled up, but the service remained consistently attentive. Staff checked in to ensure we were happy and offered anything else we might need.

Final thoughts: Great food, excellent shisha, and top-tier service. A fantastic experience from start to finish.

We had a 50th Birthday party for 100 guests. Gurav and the whole team were excellent and attentive. Food served on time and very tasty. Drinks were served to our guests without delays. Good venue and team for holding parties.

The venue was amazing; the food and staff were good. The portion size was a bit small, but everyone enjoyed the food. The ambiance added to the experience, with soft lighting and tasteful decorations that created a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The place is spacious with separate dining and lounge areas, making it perfect whether you’re out with family or celebrating with friends. Starters 🥢
The Chicken Lollipop was crazy good, crispy outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavour. The Indo-Chinese Prawns were bold and tangy with that perfect kick. The Trio Chicken Tikka was tender, smoky, and each marinade had its own unique taste. But the Avocado Chaat stole the show as something refreshing and light to balance it all.

Mains 🍛
The Chicken Madras was spot on,spicy, rich, and full of depth, exactly how a proper Madras should be. The surprise star for me was the Methi Corn, creamy, fragrant, and such a unique dish, it instantly became a favourite.

Desserts 🍰
The cakes were indulgent but the Lotus Biscoff Milk Cake really stood out soft, rich, and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were huge across all dishes, which I really appreciate you definitely get value for money here.

Extras 💨
To finish, we tried their Special Shisha smooth, flavoursome, and the perfect way to end a fantastic evening.

Overall, Central Restaurant & Lounge offers the full experience welcoming vibes, amazing food with generous portions, and excellent service. 100% recommend this place if you’re looking for quality food with great hospitality.

I had booked for my partners surprise party. Genuinely such helpful people and accommodating to all my needs. Gaurav helped with the booking aspect and even with a lot of back and forth from my end, he was very patient. Even on site he was lovely and very helpful. Priya was our server, she made sure everyone was attended to and liaised with me to ensure it ran smoothly. She again was very helpful with such a chaotic group of mine and made it work regardless. I’ve been here a couple of times now so the food is always good, nothing bad to say honestly speaking.

Breakfast at Hastag Cafe – A Tasty Start to the Day

I recently visited Hastag Cafe for breakfast and opted for the Hastag Breakfast, which offered a delightful mix of savoury and sweet elements. The savoury plate included beef sausages, turkey rashers, baked beans, hash brown, and scrambled eggs — all cooked well, with the scrambled eggs in particular being perfectly done: soft, creamy, and just right.

The sweet side featured French toast dipped in honey, served with a small pot of chocolate sauce. The toast was fluffy and indulgent, pairing beautifully with the rich chocolate.

My wife went for the vegetarian breakfast, which included toast, two sunny-side-up eggs, avocado slices, beans, and halloumi. It was a classic combination, but well-executed with fresh ingredients and no complaints on any front.

The standout, however, was the karak chai — easily a 5 out of 5. Rich, flavourful, and perfectly spiced, I’d return just for another cup.

The only downside was the price — the total bill came to £32, which felt a bit steep for breakfast. Still, the quality of the food and drink made it a worthwhile treat.

Nice small cafe, lovely staff and the food was amazing, very tasty and not too big of a portion which I’m glad for. Parking around the area is reasonable but overall, great experience.

Breakfast was really delicious and affordable. Portion size was enough for 2 people. The staff is amazing. 👍🏻

Lovely breakfast spot, really good for families and kids. Surprisingly very spacious, food was amazing, sadly they didn’t have the Mediterranean breakfast, but the Desi breakfast was really nice.
