Honest Burgers Peckham

The most amazing branch me and my family have been to! The staff were so friendly and nice, they really took good care of us. We went for my brother’s bday and we really enjoyed the food, very good and big portions. We got the buffalo chicken, smash burger and honest burger with buffalo and bbq wings.

Ordered from here on uber eats and was excited as I normally love honest burgers. This is the worst meal I’ve ever received. I ordered my burger medium well and received two raw cold beef patties, the onion rings were also soggy and drowning oil. The slaw was only filled to a quarter of the container and I’d say was two spoons full. This is not my first time ordering from honest burgers but this branch is actually criminal. I was starving but could barely eat anything because everything but the fries was inedible. Beware for food poisoning from this place, I’m so upset because I’ve wasted my money, I’m still hungry and  I feel sick from the bite I took of the burger 🤢

I got the double smash burger with halloumi, and its probably the best burger i’ve had in the UK, and i have had a LOT of burgers here. I also got the homemade mint lemonade because lemonade is my favorite drink, and its suuuuuper good!

Ordered a delivery through uber eats. I live approximately 5 mins away on a bike etc, the food was picked up and took over 30 mins for the delivery driver to arrive at my house. Watching the delivery persons route it looked like he drove off somewhere and stopped for 20 mins before deciding to bring us our food. By this point the food was ice cold/frozen.

Realistically this is more of an uber eats issue, I brought it up with them and they said it was delivered in time and don’t care if the food was frozen. I only am leaving this review because I brought it up to honest burgers and was ignored so just generally terrible customer service all around, and also I am out £45 because the food I ordered was basically inedible.

Honest burgers are always good and reliable. You won’t have a culinary experience but you know you’ll have good-priced burgers with reasonable quality. Each branch makes things a bit different. In this one, the fries were too salty. Also, the background music was too loud, which some may like, while others may find annoying as it makes it close to impossible to have a conversation. Overall, if you’re in the area and hungry and want a burger, honest is an option that never fails.

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.
