Steak and Co offer only one halal option in the menu. The halal serlion steak. It's 6 to 8 week wet aged cut from Argentina. @steakandco 
You get to pick and choice of butter and seasoning. The steak is served along with a hot stone. You get to cook the steak to how you like it. I like mine rare to medium rare. Whats nice is with the hot stone you are in control of how the meat is cooked. 
It was very juicy, soft and tender. They don't serve the meat In a sauce or marinade, it's all about the tates of the aged beef. 
I also got a side of sweet potatoes fires as well. Very nice. 
However, something was missing. I got the 8oz steak, but was still hungry. It didn't hit the spot for me. The price is £18.95, so it's on the pricey side. However there are reasons why. 
I spoke in depth with manager, who was very passionate about meat in general. It costs a lot to import wet aged meat as it needs to be regulated at a certain temperature to avoid the meat being spoilted by bacteria. Also, he mentioned that last year they only sold 4 halal steaks a week. This year they have sold 3000. Which means that they plan to introduce new Halal options in the next 2 months. So keep an eye out.

Steak and Company - Gloucester Road

I had the best experience at Steak & Company (Gloucester Road), truly a 10/10 from start to finish. The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional.
The chilli garlic prawns were an absolute standout: packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and easily a 10/10. The steak was incredible as well, perfectly seasoned, beautifully cooked, and the butter on top was pure perfection.
What impressed me even more was the service. The staff were incredibly attentive to my allergies, making sure everything was completely sesame-free and checking in throughout the meal to ensure I felt safe and comfortable.
The only downside I’d say is the ventilation, is a little poor therefore you leave the restaurant smelling of the food.
I genuinely can’t wait to visit again. If you’re a steak lover, you 100000% need to check this place out!

I have recently been diagnosed with a dairy allergy, completely new to me, this restaurant were just fantastic from the moment we went in, we had messed up our booking, on an app, no problem! Then they explained exactly what I could have and tailored this prawn dish for me and then made me a gorgeous salad to go with my steak! Super customer service, thank you all so much!

Steak & Company in Gloucester Road is a fantastic joint! Chicken Schnitzel was perfectly crispy & juicy. The Steak fillet on the black stone was tender, flavourful & fun to cook table-side. Best Sticky Toffee Pudding ever! Our host Johan was warm, professional & made our night very special. Cosy vibe, great value – already planning our return!

We chose Steak and Co for a Thursday evening dinner, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, and I especially love the lava stone grilling – it works really well here.

My only small disappointment was that grilled corn wasn’t on the menu, as it’s one of my favourite sides with steak. That said, everything we had was very tasty. I also appreciated the service setup: the waiter focuses solely on the tables, while a separate team brings the food out from the kitchen, which makes the whole experience feel smooth and relaxed.

The space is spacious with a pleasant atmosphere. I’d happily come back.

We ordered 2 steaks , medium rare. 1 was perfect the other one was well done.
They made new , did not eat together , so bad experience.
Manager fixed a drink, prosecco on the house.
When steak came it was perfect , really nice taste .
It was a smelly place from «steak/frying»and that we also got confirmed this morning when we had the same smell in our hotel room/clothes.
But managers attitude and their quality of meat makes this all in all good.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. Staff were engaging and friendly. Food was served pretty fast and hot! All the dishes we ordered tasted amazing! Not salty, just natural flavours from various spices. We were very impressed and would love to come back when we visit London again.

Lovely food. We ordered a lot of different things but we enjoyed the lamb shoulder and zucchini fritters the most. The cardamom ice cream and the dark chocolate tahini mousse were amazing as well. The chicken and the rabbit were nicely cooked but not very well seasoned, all the flavour came from the lentils/beans. Nice dips with warm pita as well! The food came quickly and the service was very polite. I definitely recommend!

Outstanding eastern Mediterranean food at Ceru with exciting flavours. The lamb shoulder and mushrooms were stand out and everything except the bread was gluten free (and there's an amazing gluten-free pita) which is perfect for coeliacs like me. Will be returning!

Delicious food! We can recommend the lamb shoulder, the battered squid, the spiced chicken breast on lentils, the artichoke & pea salad, the butternut squash and also all dips and the warm pita bread. The rabbit leg on white beans was slightly dry. The rice has a note of cinnamon and is tasty too. The housemade pale ale beer and pilsner beer are good. The atmosphere is pleasantly stylish. The service is friendly and gives many recommendations what could be ordered. When we arrived at 4:30pm, only a few tables were taken. When we left around 6:15pm, the place was full.

This was, in a city full of culinary delights, the  highlight of our trip.  While my dad had a delicious traditional western breakfast (smoked salmon and avocado on a bagel) my husband and I chose middle eastern dishes.  He got the falafel pie, tender and moist falafel between flaky layers of roti.  I indulged in the simit with poached egg and yogurt.  The simit was fresh, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside with lots of sesame seeds and the slightest hint of sweetness. The yogurt and spices complimented the perfectly poached eggs.  We all got coffee drinks.  My husband said his cappuccino was excellent (he is a bit of a coffee snob) and I got a Turkish coffee.  You can tell that the spices were fresh and it was prepared with care.  We met the owner and executive chef who was warm and welcoming. My only regret is that this restaurant is not located closer to my home!   When I return to London, this will be a definite stop

What an amazing venue and staff! I booked the private room for a 40th Birthday party and my gosh it was incredible. Liasing with the team before hand and being able to take the worry of organising the surprise. The food was exactly how I wanted, they organised a tea party with add ons and it was spectacular!
Most importantly the servers and staff on the evening was absolutely amazing (unfortunately didnt get names) they made the evening more special.

Very disappointing experience at Fait Maison – Gloucester Road.

I stood at the entrance for around 10 minutes waiting to be seated. There was a table clearly designated for staff to seat guests, yet no one was there. Several waiters walked past me without acknowledging me or asking if I needed a table.

Eventually, I had to call a staff member and explain that I had been standing there for a while with no service. He then told me to sit at any table I wanted. I asked to sit outside, ordered my food, and the service remained poor throughout.

When the bill arrived, I asked to remove the service charge, which is a normal and acceptable request in many restaurants in the UK when the service is unsatisfactory. I was told that it could not be removed due to “restaurant policy” and that even if I spoke to the manager, it would not be removed. I was basically forced to pay it.

Honestly, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had. If the service had been good, I would have gladly paid the service charge, but it simply wasn’t deserved. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not deserve even one star 👎🏻

The store's impeccable design beckons you in, and the meticulously arranged desserts promise a delightful experience. We expected the food to taste fantastic, and it certainly did. After dinner, the four of us decided to stop by for a treat, but what we discovered was so much more..

I was fortunate enough to eat brunch at Ottolenghi, dinner at The River Cafe, and many meals between at nice London restaurants. My breakfast at Fait Maison was the most memorable of my meals. The authentic Palestinian offerings extend to the pastries. Don't miss the round cookie filled with dates. For breakfast, I enjoyed the Baleel, an omelet topped with slightly sweet saffron and cinnamon noodles. That dish was plenty of food at a reasonable price, but it was so good I ordered another breakfast course of Faul Gazawi; a spicy puree of fava beans festooned with fresh tomatoes and drizzled with rich olive oil. I also had the good fortune to have chef Yvonne chat to me tableside. The decor is delightful and the service is friendly and efficient.

Unfortunately it wasn’t my first time at FM but this branch is the worst so far.

I don’t usually write google reviews but the sCustomer service was too below the bar and the way the waiter had an excuse for every mistake is disrespectful.

We ordered medium cooked pouched eggs3 different dishes each of them came cooked differently and the sour dough bread hard couldn’t be eaten.

Beyond delicious authentic food. Everything was literally delicious and I will be back to try more. The curry hummus with lamb is outstanding along with the egg and cheese paratha. The place is packed in the morning but line was fast. The atmosphere for me personally was not a favorite because I do not like loud music and dancing in the morning which happened in one phase and not the whole time

So delicious! I loved the “breakfast from the east” and definitely want to come back to try more food. Service was also quick despite being full.

What an exquisite place to eat! Only popped in for a coffee but will be returning for afternoon tea. Beautiful crockery, friendly welcoming staff, clean and inviting. It's simply enchanting with its vintage decor.

Overall, my experience was just okay. I honestly find it a bit overrated. The food itself tastes average, and it’s really the presentation that makes it look appealing.

Traditional Japanese food with a modern touch of flavours

We dined here twice for convenience since we were staying at the Crowne Plaza. Food was generally good though flavouring was a hit and miss on some of the dishes. Portions were small in comparison to the price. Service was slow and seriously lacking. During our first visit, our server asked if we wanted to start with prawn crackers after we had just placed our order so we said yes thinking it was complimentary. It was not. The servers need to communicate this clearly to the guests. We also had to wait at least 30 minutes for the first dish to be served during both dinner service which came before the drinks. Additionally, one of the server tended to serve food near the end of the table where our toddler was sitting; this is a BIG NO-NO in Restaurant Hospitality 101 as it could lead to all sorts of accidents. Final note: do not be misled by the restaurant’s description – serves strictly Indonesian, Malaysian and Thai cuisine – there is no Vietnamese item on the menu.

Beautiful​ classy restaurant in Kensington inside Crowne Plaza right across the street from Gloucester station. Thankfully I was able to make a reservation through OpenTable​ for a party 5 so when we walked in we got seated right away, but not too long till we realized their AC wasn't working for a hot summer in London.. wish the manager​ I spoke to an hour before our reservation mentioned it or had a sign up outside the door about this technical issue, we would've come back another day but since it was already late for dinner and we were tired, kinda just decided to go with it.

Confusing Asian​ fusion style menu. Food arrived about 35-40 mins later. The server​ wasn't very attentive with water/drink refills and didn't have any alternative to the ac issue either.

What we had:
-Pad Thai Jae (Thai)- Rice noodles, wok fried with broccoli and tofu. OK.
-Nasi Goreng (Malaysian)- Wok fried rice in mild spices, served with a skewer of chicken satay and prawn cakes. Terrible.
-Gang​ Kiew Wan Gai (Thai)- Green curry with chicken, aubergine and baby corn. Pretty good.
-Indonesian Curry- Kinda tastes like Panang​ curry, OK.
-Coconut king prawns. OK

Overall, for date nights this place is beautiful. But wasn't​ too happy with their food quality, portion size, ​and pricing. I'll give an extra star to the manager, she was kind enough to take off the dishes that didn't come out as expected and swapped with something else we liked, just overall food wasn't all so great..

Super mouthwatering dishes! Excellent wine pairing with Pan Asian menu. And special dessert presentation from head chef along with occasional requests!

Service was excellent, atmosphere is good. Unspiced food was of good quality, especially the crispy duck which had generous portion. Unfortunately the food which should have been spicy was very mild, although the ingredients were well cooked. Would recommend choosing unspiced dishes unless you prefer very mild curries

Best Asian restaurant I have ever tried. The food was so tasty. I had chicken Satay, a green chicken curry and chocolate cake for dessert. Thanks alot to Sanna for the Supreme service. Go there and enjoy!

The staff were friendly and the starters and glazed carrots were very tasty. We got the cut to order steak that was recommended to us by the waiter. However, to our surprise the steak was chewy!!! I cannot for the life of me imagine how other people think these steaks are amazing. You can get a tender steak at most steak restaurants in London so it’s not rocket science but unfortunately not here.

An absolute 5 star experience from start to finish.

We came here for an early dinner before seeing Sigur Ros at The Royal Albert Hall.

For starters I had Parma Ham & Bufala - the ham melted in the mouth and was complemented beautifully by a creamy ball of Bufala.

For main I went for a "cut to order" 1kg Fiorentina T-Bone steak cooked to a perfect medium. It fell apart whilst cutting into bitesize portions, and melted in the mouth. Cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection.

For pudding I went for a Pineapple Carpaccio - Although it was something I wouldn't go for normally, I thought I would try something different. Was it a good decision? I'm not quite sure. The pineapple and pomegranate was lovely, but I believe there may have been some sort of ginger based drizzle on top which wasn't to my liking, as I don't like the flavour or warmth of ginger. Generally speaking it was a lovely dish, but if I had known it had (what tasted like) ginger in it, I wouldn't have ordered it.

For sides we had chips, parmesan and truffle chips, glazed carrots as well as broccoli - All were perfect accompaniments to our dishes.

The service was fantastic! Consistent but not overly pushy or intrusive. They catered for our needs and requests perfectly, and also helped us choose the perfect steak for what we like.

Will I/we return again in the future? Definitely!

This place is an absolute gem situated close to the Royal Albert Hall. The staff are great the food is amazing and the atmosphere and vibe of the place is top notch!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The vegetarian dishes were delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the meal even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing steaks starting from around 70 upwards to 130+  both which can be shared between two people.
Amazing quality of beef steak and the sides of bone marrow and tomato salad were amazing. Truffle chips are sold everywhere now but these were delicious and crispy with a generous shaving of cheese.
Venue was smaller than I expected and the down stairs area wasn't open, on a mid week visit. Service was good.
Great butchery selection at the front of the shop and the chef can help you pick you perfect steak and recommend cooking preferences.

We finished the meal with a delicious and light tiramasu. I would come again just for the  tiramasu, lighter than a traditional recipe but respectful and the perfect level of sweetness.

Had an amazing steak at lunchtime. We ordered the Fiorentina at 700g. Seemed like it wasn't as big as we hoped but it was delicious.
The sides were also extremely nice.
Only downside was it was empty aside from us, and felt a bit unloved.
Worth a trip to try the meat but don't expect an 'occaision'.

The burgers come with fries, and the portion is definitely enough for one person. We ordered a few sides just to try them. The coleslaw and salad were good, but the onion rings were overly oily. The burger and fries tasted great, and the burger came with a sweet cranberry sauce. If that’s not your thing, you can ask for it without the sauce.

Me and my friend went here after being at the natural history museum. Now I'm not keen on burgers but my friend was craving one so we went here. The chips were absolutely gorgeous. The burgers were filling but the potions were perfect to the point I could eat the whole thing. Absolutely loved the meat and the whole thing melted in your mouth.

The waitresses were so sweet too. It was incredibly busy but they managed really well. We waited outside for 15 mins before heading in and the food was served in good timing. They were so polite and we never felt rushed once but they were still making sure to keep things moving for new customers coming in.

Amazing, the food, the service, the atmosphere!! Absolutely one of our family favorite places for Burgers. Family friendly, my son's enjoyed his kids menu. Just the right portion. The staff were wonderful, very attentive. My clumsy self knocked over my glass of cider right after pouring, staff came over and help with the spilled right away and even get me a new can of cider. Really wanted to tip them but didn't have cash with me. So 5 star reviews from me for everything. Definitely coming back again.

Had the beef burger with extra cheddar. Lacking salt, but otherwise extraordinary burger! Absolutely loved caramelised onions,  patty was cooked to perfection (meaning medium) and salad was really so much better than expected. Reasonable prices as well. Absolute recommendation!

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.

I was craving Shawarma, but it sells out around 7 pm almost every day! So if you want to try it, make sure to go before 7.

Food is nice and authentic here. Dish of the day is always freshly cooked and prepared everyday. Grills are so delicious also. This restaurant is a much if you like the authenticity of the Lebanese food. Customer service is amazing as well. Many thanks to Abo Karerm, the managers and others who work there. They provide immaculate customer service.

I cannot express how amazing this place is. I’m the biggggggest foodie and when it comes to Lebanese food, nothing compares, I live in NYC and nothing compares still. Do yourself  favor and order lamb kefta/spicy chicken/bab ganoush/ hot sauce home made / fatoush salad/ chicken liver/  I mean everything else’s amazing but those are my personal faves. I was in london for 24 hours for press and had no time for anything and made sure I ate there before I left. Period.

Food is very authentic here. Too many varieties to choose from. Food always fresh and piping hot.
Customer service is amazing as well. It makes the whole experience fantastic.

I was served by Fariah at the till, and she made my visit genuinely pleasant. She was polite, attentive, and handled my order with real care. While I was eating, she checked in to see if I needed anything else, which made me feel well looked after. Her kindness and professionalism stood out.

The staff overall were welcoming, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be recommending this place to my friends as well. Special thanks to Fariah for making the experience even better.

My sisters and I ordered boneless chicken with Original and Spicy Korean flavor, and tenders with Garlic Parmesan flavor, together with a freestyle soda drink. We were honestly quite disappointed. The flavors overall were not that good and the tenders tasted burnt and overly oily, almost as if the oil had been sitting for a while. It left a really greasy feeling in your mouth which was not pleasant at all.

The portion sizes for the fried chicken were also a letdown. The boneless pieces were tiny, almost the size of popcorn chicken. One small plus was that we accidentally received more pieces than we had ordered. Hopefully it was only that time and not the usual standard.

The staff was friendly though.

I stopped here due to the proximity to the underground station and was very happy I did. The service was good and quick, and the wings were great. I also got the Cajun fries with cheese sauce and loved them.

Bosphorus Kebabs

I had heard a lot about this kebab shop, and a few of my friends highly recommended it — they were absolutely right!

I finally tried it last night, and it was excellent. The mixed grill was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The chilli and garlic sauces were especially delicious and paired really well with the food.

It’s a small, clean, and welcoming place, conveniently located just a short walk from South Kensington Station. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit.

A long time ago, we stayed near Bosporus Kebabs and got takeout from there one evening. Since then, my husband has talked about it every time he eats kebabs anywhere else. So when we were in London again, we decided to visit—even though we didn’t realize it would take over two hours to get there.

During the long journey, my husband wanted to give up and go somewhere closer, but I told him if he didn’t go, he would be thinking about this place forever. Also, one review mentioned it was cash only, which made him worried, so he called ahead to check. They confirmed they do accept credit cards, which was a relief.

When we arrived, the place was smaller than my husband remembered—a tiny shop with just a few tables in the back. There’s a glass counter with raw kebabs where you pick what you want, and they grill it fresh for you. We ordered a lamb burger, two kinds of kebabs, sodas, and yogurt drinks.

The food came quickly and was tasty. The red sauce was just as good as I remembered, and they were generous with both the red and garlic sauces. The kebabs were good but didn’t quite live up to my husband’s excellent memories from years ago. He said the food felt more average this time—maybe nostalgia made the first experience seem more special.

Overall, it was a fun experience and a nice way to revisit a memory. The food is solid, the service was fast, and if you’re nearby, it’s worth a try. Just be prepared for a small, casual setting and maybe a bit of a journey if you’re coming from farther away. All in all, Bosporus Kebabs offers good food and quick service in a casual setting, perfect for a relaxed meal if you’re in the neighborhood.

Ordered medium size kebab which was priced at £13.95.  A little expensive but probably reasonable for London.  We shared it and we're satisfied.
