I thoroughly enjoyed the food from here, the chicken whilst it is fried is done in a slightly different style that was just so refreshing. The Nashville boneless hot chicken was all fully Halal and beautifully done, especially with the dips (ranch is a must). The sides were very good as well with my personal recommendation being the jacs! The staff were super attentive and extremely nice throughout the evening, they definitely went above and beyond! I didn't get a chance to try the desserts out as they were closing but they sounded amazing on the menu so I'll definitely be back to try them out some time soon!

The chicken was tasty and crunchy.  It hits the mark of flavourful crunchy, flavourful burger with the right amount of spice.
Between Mild dusting and hot oil I didn't find a huge flavour variation. I did enjoy the buffalo sauce on the burger.
Rosemary fries were great.  Really enjoyed the funnel cake.
The trays were pricier than I'd like, but with 40%off during the offer period it was fine.
Drinks were nice but in smaller (plastic) glasses than you'd expect.
The food is quite filling, so I wouldn't buy too many add ons.
Service was friendly. Servers had a good memory. It was odd that there wasn't someone with the customers a lot of the time.
Also, it's a fully halal menu!

Brilliant place for fried chicken, has a great selection on the menu from burgers to wings to tenders, all with different levels of spice and sauces. Portion sizes were very generous, burgers were huge, wings were crispy. Only slight downside was that the food did take a while to arrive.

They serve 'Nashville Hot Chicken' in a variety of different ways. You can choose your spice levels, we opted for 'mild' to be safe, but I think I will go for medium next time!
Of everything we ate, my absolute favourite were the 'Dirty Bird Fries' 11/10. The proportions of the components was absolutely perfect. I usually pick out the gherkins from my food, but these were just sharp enough to balance the meal, without overpowering it. The portion size was on the generous side for us, we were informed this was in keeping with their American theme, and they have had customers who can manage a lot more than what we did! Thankfully, they offer take away containers for the food we couldn't eat whilst there.
The Classic Burger 9/10, only because I played it safe with my choice. I wish I'd chosen a more interesting burger and hotter on the spice.
Chicken & Pancakes and Boneless Wings both 9/10 - delicious and great portion size again, wish we'd been braver with the spicing.
We polished off the meal with chocolate churros and looped churros with chocolate sauce both 11/10. These were so moreish if only we had any more space in our tummies!
From their dry bar we enjoyed 'The Green One', 'Country Sunset', 'Cowboy Juice' and 'Snakebite' from their extensive choice of mocktails. All of them were deliciously made and helped us keep cool with the heatwave.
They have vegan options available and serve fish as their special on Friday (certainly not just another chicken shop!)
The staff were friendly, attentive and receptive to feedback.
We purposefully visited on a Tuesday afternoon as we wanted to go when the place would be quieter, but I would recommend advance booking on Thurs/Fri evening and at the weekends.

Cosy, comfortable restaurant 1 minute from Clapham Common tube station. I ate Succulent chicken fried in their signature Nashville oil with Hash browns, pancakes and a mini pot of maple syrup. Great portion sizes, and good value for money. Excellent choice of cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks to compliment your food.

Good selection of Vegan options. Food is served hot and retains its heat to the very last mouthful.

Was a first visit, will definitely be going back.

We mainly serve chicken which is halal. We have beef sausages & bacon on our brunch menu- both of which are halal too. So we have a full halal food menu. We also have a fully dry bar!

I had tried it before but ordered again to remind myself of the taste. It was quite nice, but it arrived a little cold, probably due to the packaging or because it wasn’t completely fresh. The burger also had noticeably less cheese compared to the photos. Still, if you’re craving crispy chicken, it’s a good place to eat in person—I haven’t gone myself, but I’m sure it would be better that way. For delivery, however, it’s not entirely flawless. The packaging could keep the food warmer, and a bit more care would improve the experience.

Super crispy chicken with juicy flavor inside. Great sauces, tasty sides, and quick service. Perfect spot when you’re craving proper fried chicken!

I’ve had takeaway from Butchies a few times and the chicken has always been juicy and flavourful. Chips are good, I like the seasoning but I don’t recommend the cheese sauce for takeaway, it hardens really quickly and is impossible to dip your chips in or to pour over. Even when I heated it up, it hardened again. Other than that, everything else is good.

Absolutely unacceptable service. I politely explained that my chips were cold and asked the staff member to check them. Instead of listening, he ignored me, then spoke to me very rudely. He grabbed the chips and threw them straight in the bin in a disrespectful and aggressive manner, without any explanation or apology. I was shocked by the lack of basic customer service and professionalism. Mistakes can happen, but treating a customer this way is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning

Wings were okay, but tenders were dry 🥲. Foods were quite extremely salty in general.. They had nice and crispy fried skin tho

All of our chicken is now sourced from a Halal certified supplier and certificates are available at each site. We sell alcohol, but we do not use it anywhere in the cooking process. We also sell bacon in some of our sandwiches. The bacon is cooked separately from other food items.

Amazing food and amazing service. Had two delicious starters and then one of the sharing players for the main. It was the perfect amount of food, flavour, and variety. We then were recommended the cookie dough for dessert by our server Faizan, and this was without a doubt one of the best recommendations and nicest desserts I’ve ever had. Delicious and authentic Mediterranean food under a cozy atmosphere. A place worth to visit. Arturo our host lovers after us really well. And perfect place to just relax and drinks too.

From the moment I walked into Megan’s Old town, I knew I was in for something special. The warm lighting, decor,  set the mood for a cozy, authentic meal.

The staff were incredibly welcoming especially — our server Terri, struck the perfect balance between friendly and professional, offering great recommendations without being pushy. Definitely coming back with friends

Jaros was fabulous as always. He has a great genuine sense of humour that adds to the vibe at Megan. I would love to do a gig at Megan. Thanks for helping to create some lovely birthday memories. Always love Megans.

I previously went for breakfast which I really enjoyed. The food served was lovely, but certainly lacking. I found it all so dry, but the presentation was fantastic and wine was lovely.

Honest Burgers Clapham

One of the best burger spots in London, hands down.
My wife and I went to Honest Burgers today and it really lived up to the hype. It’s a chain, but the quality is excellent — juicy, high-quality beef burgers and their rosemary fries are honestly hard to beat.
I went for the Christmas Set Menu 2025 and it was great value for what you get. My wife had the local Clapham burger and absolutely loved it. Everything came out quickly, the service was friendly and relaxed, and we never felt rushed.
Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. Overall, a great experience and somewhere we’d happily return to. Highly recommended.

We had a great first experience at this Honest Burgers location in Clapham. Friendly and prompt service, nice vibe and tasty burgers. It's worth mentioning that they're happy to customise burgers if for example you don't like a particular ingredient.

I had the buffalo chicken burger and I loved it. It comes with (lot of) French fries, very well made. The place wasn’t busy at all (on a Tuesday midday). Very friendly service and quite fast. As said, I only tried their chicken sandwich but burgers looked lovely as well. I might try one next time I go there. Totally recommended.

Excellent burger. Meat was really good quality and the rest of it was nicely put together. Fries alone are worth a trip for...seriously good.

Coleslaw was small and under seasoned.

Mojito was from a mix, no muddling of fresh mint, no crushed ice. More like a daiquiri.

Service was efficient and friendly but they were a little run off their feet.

Ambience good. It's a busy spot for Al fresco dining.

Honestly good burgers! The burger was very tasty and the rosemary seasoned chips were delicious. Nice little outdoor area. Quick service.

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.
